I recently switch from Kaiser to Blue Shield as a result of a job change. I must admit that for the past 5 years I’ve been spoiled considering most Kaiser buildings are modern and recently updated. Other than the long lines to check-in, I rarely ever have a complain. The receptionist are very professional and friendly unlike the service here. I wonder why it’s called the«friendly» care medical group considering the horrible customer service I received. The receptionist who booked my appointment a month earlier failed to inform me that they only accept cash or check which I would have appreciated knowing in advance so I wouldn’t have to leave to find a nearby ATM because of course they require payment before seeing the doctor. I mean, it’s very rare that a legitimate business does not accept credit cards. C’mon it’s 2015!!! The building is a bit run down which I guess reflects the quality of service. The receptionist are unaware of what«privacy» or «confidentiality» is as they shouted from behind the desk to ask me my DOB rather than calling me up to verify it quietly. It was in this manner that they told me my co-pay amount and that I would need to pay in cash or check. My appointment was 45 minutes ago and I’m still waiting. I’m actually writing this review even before seeing the doctor.
