Well… ordered my food well over an hour ago and was told it would be here in 45−1hr…still waiting. And their phone is always going straight to the busy tone or not letting the call through. Yet my card has already been charged and they were able to take the call for my order but not answer the phone??? Really? Won’t be ordering from here again. Update: Got our food an hour and a half past when I placed the order and was told 45−1hr. My husband expressed to the delivery driver that we called multiple times and asked for the managers number. The driver was a young American kid who told us «he’s the manager». My husband told him he would like the owners/store managers number. He was told the managers name was mr. Wong. When my husband asked for the number to reach«mr. wong» he was told the store number(yes the same one we called several times) is mr. Wongs number. Wow. Ordered general Tsos chicken. Soggy. Wasn’t the best. Wasn’t the worst. Crab rangoons were smashed flat looking and had practically no filling. Husband says his shrimp fried rice was mediocre at best. Kid offered a discount but at that point we were just hungry and didn’t care. Won’t be ordering take out from there ever again. Finally got in contact with«mr. Wong» and he cut my husband off and goes«we’re busy I’ll give you 50% off next time.» And hangs up on him. Didn’t get his name or number or anything. Never giving them our business again.

I think this place wants to go out of business. Oh well… I’m an extremely lazy person, so calling for food delivery is a blessing. However, this place has a phone issue or they don’t want to do their job. Several times when I’ve called their phone gives me the busy tone. Understandable. But when I really want your food and call many times within an hour and never reach you, there’s gotta be something going on here. It sucks, because I really do enjoy their food. Reminds me of all those«New York style» Chinese food places you see all over. Unfortunately, they don’t enjoy delivering or they lost their phone lol. I’d do takeout, but they’re located farther than ideal from post and are in a weird location along the highway. I suppose I’ll just handle my business elsewhere. Farewell, Fortune Cookie. It’s been a pleasure waiting for you to answer the phone.

It’s been far too long & I need to review my favorite Chinese place in the SV. Despite having multiple tables, Ya, the young lady that owns this place with her husband, is always very attentive. I never want for reills or more napkins. When we walk in she says«General Tsaos chicken & two waters. Want wonton today?»

Don’t. Do. It. It pains me to write such a bad review, considering how nice the woman working there is, but this just wasn’t good. With all of the wonderful options in SV, do yourself a favor and pick one of the others. We ordered take out, and while you could tell it was fresh(fried/cooked to order), I can’t help but think it was all pre-frozen. Tasted very bland and generic. Even the egg rolls were blah. We ordered the General Tso’s and the Sweet & Sour Pork. The General Tso’s was ok, not great; but the S&S Pork was just oily, fried bland. The highlight was the steamed rice, and the service. We walked in, ordered immediately, and had our food within 15 minutes. Two other to-go orders picked up while we were there, so maybe we just got bad items. We might try this again, but I doubt it.

They delivered my order within 30 minutes. General Tso’s chicken was good. Chicken lo mein was good too. Their egg rolls are similar to lumpia/spring rolls but bigger. I also ordered the Garlic Chicken(spicy) & it wasn’t tasty… but those are my taste buds. It’s also expensive if you don’t order during their lunch or dinner special.

We ordered delivery, and it took about an hour and a half for it to arrive. There was plenty of food for the amount of money we spent. However, the food was mediocre at best. My moo shu pork didn’t have much pork, and what was there was more like pork jerky-it was very tough and hard. My husband had the house lo mein, and he wasn’t any more impressed with his than I was with mine. We shared a large egg flower soup and fried dumplings. The soup was tepid, and just not very good. We normally both love egg flower soup wherever we go, and never leave any in our bowls. But, with this soup, we left almost the whole container behind. The dumplings were probably the best part of the meal, if you could get past how oily they were. On the plus side, the lady on the phone was very nice. And, they have 2 liter drinks, which was good for us! We definitely won’t be ordering from them again!
