Yvette is the best. She is friendly, warm, funny and really easy going. I had a huge knot in my back and had a wedding to photograph the next day. She was COMPLETELY booked up but she was so kind and generous enough to open up her shop 30 minutes early for me to squeeze me in. Now THAT’S someone who seriously loves her job and someone who cares about people. The massage itself was phenomenal. She was able to locate the knot and she did her best in 30 minutes to try to massage it out. That 30 minutes got me through the next 12 hours. I won’t hesitate to recommend Yvette or hesitate to come back for a full 1 hour massage when I need it. Thank you so much Yvette!

I am incredibly grateful and thankful to have been treated by Yvette. I started seeing her a few months ago after being constantly disappointed by doctors for years with problems I had been having with the nerves in my arms. The day I came to see her it had gotten so bad that I could barely even write or pick up objects with my fingers. I am only 24. In the recent months it had progressively gotten worse. My orthopedic specialist at Cedar’s Sinai was of no help at all and told me that I had cubital tunnel syndrome and carpal tunnel syndrome in addition to shoulder impingement and dyskinesia. Well, the day of the first treatment all of those symptoms went away. With each visit, I have gotten progressively better. I am able to type with all of my fingers comfortably. I can do yoga again regularly for the first time in nearly two years. I could go on about how my life has drastically improved because of her. Yvette KNOWS what she is doing. I tried every sort of treatment out there before her. Try her out!!!

Yvette is amazing. She not only treats your symptoms, but gets to the root of the problem so you can heal. Her goal is to get you symptom free and need her less. She fuses her knowledge of physical therapy, as a licensed physical therapist, with massage technique for life changing body work. Yvette has a true heart for people, she exemplifies kind and generous. Plus she is a world class story teller.

Yvette is amazing!!! I’ve been to several massage therapists and none have been able to help me, Yvette does incredible work, she truly has a gift for this. That 1 hr treatment felt ever lasting. I sat in the waiting room and another one of her clients who is a very athletic person got hurt on the field and Yvette was able to heal him with the work she did on him, he is back on the field too(when he thought he’d never be able too, after trying several other massage therapists). The massages she does are very tailored to your need, excellent excellent work, hands down best massage therapist in SoCal.

I saw Lorenzo a few months ago and he did an amazing job at helping me get rid of the pain I was having from all the typing I do at my job. The owner used to be a physical therapist and took the time to ask me several questions before Lorenzo did my massage. It was around $ 70 so standard for a massage but the quality was so much better. I’ll definitely be back

I have been getting massages mainly to deal with stress. Lorenzo became my massage therapist recently and i’m very happy with the outcome. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

Hip and back pain no more. Lorenzo has healing hands and is very detailed in relieving those knotted muscles. Great service well worth every penny. Repeats are a must! Equivalent to Glen Ivy Hot Spring Day Spa massage services but way closer.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Yvette! I suffer with neuropathy, and she has made it possible for me to walk without pain! The location is beautiful and peaceful. Some of the necessary treatment is painful for me, but she takes my mind off of it with her wonderful stories. By the time I leave, I know that I will be in great shape for at least two weeks. Neuropathy can be tricky, but Yvette(as a Physical Therapist and Massage Therapist) really gets to the heart of the problem, while still providing a comforting massage. She provides relief that no pill could ever come near!

What a gem! Yvette is the owner, I went in with pain in my jaw and I couldn’t open my mouth. My jaw had locked. I didn’t know she could unlock my jaw by massaging the muscles. Originally, I went for neck and low back pain. She felt my jaw and let me know that by using pressure points she could help unlock my jaw. Who knew? Obviously, not me. As a result of her expert hands, my neck, back, and jaw weren’t in pain. Yay! The place has a nice feel to it. She is professional. She makes you feel at home… comfortable. I will be back for tune ups. Forget those fast food of massage places. She’s the real deal. Oh! I almost forgot she is also a Physical Therapist. Bonus :).

Yvette’s background as a physical therapist puts her head and shoulders above the typical massage practitioner. Her rigorous training in PT gives her an academic and practical understanding of the body that means you can trust her to know the right thing to do to relieve pain. It’s not only a feel-good massage. It’s repairing damage, relieving pain by a knowledgable professional in a comfortable, homey setting. Because of her integrity and more than a decade of success restoring function to injured bodies and people with chronic pain or stress, that’s why I refer my patients to Yvette. Her professionalism, her integrity: she’s just the best.

I decided to treat myself to a deep tissue massage after countless attempts of doing so at those inexpensive thai massage places scattered around los angeles. These other places pale in comparison to Hands With Heart. I’m probably the only one that likes detailed explanations of what’s going on with my back and where my tension is; Yvette was very kind in giving me all the details as I asked for them. Yvette explained everything to me as she worked on my back. Not only did I feel much better after the massage, but I felt like I learned something about my body, how it works and how to stretch to maintain more comfort. It’s clear to see that Yvette’s knowledge goes much deeper than a simple deep tissue massage. Deep tissue massage training, married with physical therapy background is clearly evidenced by her understandings of all of the muscles(including muscles I didnt even know I had), and her understanding of body mechanics. The perfect mix between the deep tissue massage and physical therapy is what sets apart Hands With Heart above from the rest.

I have know Yvette Del Corazon for over 5 years. I first went to see her after receiving a gift certificate for a massage from a friend. I had been having terrible pain in my neck for over a year and acupuncture had been helpful but had taken me as far as I could go. I started seeing Yvette on a weekly basis and she has helped me recover from terrible limiting pain. Yvette has knowledge of the body(she is a physical therapist as well as a massage therapist) that no otter masseuse I have come across has ever demonstrated. I have moved from a daily pain level of very high to a pain level of low and less frequent. I am able to be active now without debilitating pain. On top of being a great massage/physical therapist, Yvette is a warm, kind, professional person and her office is inviting, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Yvette’s services.

I have to hand it to Sierra Madre. They have a jewel in the midst of their town. My experiences in deep tissue are about as slim to none. but with the pains and stress of being me. I had to eventually tough it out. I am a weakling, but have earned my stars and stripes as the main lady took to working out those years of toxic crap. That and some major injuries I have had in my knees and arms and who knows where else.(I have tried other places when she’s booked, and they just don’t have the hands to keep me there.) Small, yet just right. This cozy gem has the right hands for a destressing any soul out there! If you need some serious action taken on your tired, achy body and can’t seem to find someone strong enough with the right mind frame to make you feel better… THIS is the place. The main massage therapist(also the owner of the joint) has been in the business for quite some time and before that was actually a physical therapist for more than a decade. The other two ladies come with a strong background and have been trained by her for deep tissue. BTW, when I mean deep… D E E P… I do mean DEEP! Tissue that is. She can be gentle too.

Did you know that you can get tension in your butt??? Neither did I, but the masseurs at this place did. I’ve been going here off and on for the last few years, whenever the tension from studying gets to be too much. Yvette and Kim are excellent at working out all those knots that make your shoulders feel like they’re somewhere around your ears. Be warned though, they take«deep tissue massage» to a whole new level. Be prepared for some pain if you’re really tense. The prices are reasonable, $ 80 for one hour, the place is clean and relaxing with soft music and candles. Both ladies are very friendly. Yvette is the owner and she is hilarious.
