The gutbuster burger was great! A giant 1+ pound burger that was not only huge but had great flavors! And the huge burger was only $ 10. Our strawberry milkshake was solid. We watched them chop up real strawberries for our milkshake and real blackberries for other folks milkshakes. Kudos on using real berries. Our 8oz can of isobutane stove fuel was $ 10, about twice as expensive as it should have been. They allow you to use their wifi which is great since there’s no cell service. If there are a bunch of PCT hikers out on the porch, good luck using the wifi. Once everyone goes to bed/leaves the porch, come back and the wifi works great. They usually have the password for it posted on the bulletin board outside by the door.

Free internet hot spot. Pacific Crest Trail thru hikers very welcome. Friendly sunny location on Main Street. Right next to the Sierra City Post Office. The store is a wonderful place with a welcoming board-walk porch and benches. They also have a Laundromat next door. Maybe showers will be added soon. Deli sandwiches made to order. Drinks. Fruit and Veggies. Drygoods. Camping Supplies and even wine and liquor. Historical photos and art on all the walls. The place is well worth a stop because it’s the only place to stop! Actually there are many cool things to stop for in Sierra City.
