Wow… what a vicious experience. A father and son run this spot. The son is the bartender… he was the only thing good about this place. The father was abrasive and a level 99 jerk. I wanted food but was told they were done cooking. I went outside for a bit and came back in to find 2 people had ordered cheeseburgers since I left… apparently the kitchen was only closed to out of towners. Won’t be back… if you want a pleasant spot to hang out go to Sorroccos up the street. Those people are good people. Have no idea how this place stays in business with the old man treating customers like I was treated.

What can I this place was a shit hole. smelled like stinky cheese We stopped on the way from Reno Street Vibes to have a beer and a shot Read the review that was posted prior to us going and didn’t believe it. Was soooo true. No bathrooms septic was shut down. served everything in plastic cups because they could wash anything. the shot had Nats floating in it tons. WOW! This place should be shut down. We left, continued our ride to Downieville. This bar should be called«Poo Poo Bar» stunk Doesn’t deserve a star

Walked in because I wanted a cold one. Can you say Dump/dive. Some guy moments before had just blown chunks. So my wife and I had to tip toe around him. On hind site we should have turned around and left. We found a table and when are waitress showed up we asked what the soup of the day was? and she pointed to the floor where the guy gaged and she said your looking at it! We settled for a beer and when it came 30 Minutes later their was hair in it! We left at once!

We walked in through the bar and sat in the restaurant area at the back of the building. A pleasant woman came up to us and said, «Here’s the deal. I’m the bartender, waitress, chef, busser and janitor… and here’s what’s available for dinner: pork ribs, tri tip sandwich or bbq chicken.» We had the pork ribs and tri tip and were very happy with the meal. There was a crock pot with homemade vegetable soup cooking and a small salad bar set up on a side table. It was a funky place, but we had a good meal in a comfortable place. We were dirty from our 4wd trip and were made to feel welcome. We’d definitely go back again. OH — my 6-year old, who doesn’t even like meat, cleaned his ribs to the bone.
