American Oasis Day Spa

I have been going to Nancy for my facials for a few months now and she’s fantastic. She is so knowledgable and gives personalized skin care. I’m so much more comfortable going to see her over a spa. It’s not the same atmosphere as a spa setting, but Nancy’s expertise and prices are so worth it!

I grew up in Maine and come back to visit whenever I get the chance. I like to take my bestie out for girly stuff when I visit, and she had mentioned she’d never had a facial before so I started my online search. I came across the Oasis Day Spa and saw that not only did they offer facials but they were half the price of the ones at the Senator Spa in Augusta — sold! I even was able to email book my appointment (I hate talking on the phone so that was extra cool). We showed up and as I thought, it was located inside her home. There was a faded sign outside the door and we couldn’t quite read it so we pushed the doorbell and waited, nothing. So we guessed that the sign said to just come in — so we did. The spa was located upstairs over her garage so going up to it was a little clunky, but as soon as we entered it was cute.
She had us put on slippers at the door and I was even allowed in the room while my friend got her facial. She loved it. I got one too, I also loved it — got a little too comfortable and might have dozed off a bit.
The owner also sells products made from natural ingredients, so I bought a maine blueberry face wash (I use it every day and I LOVE IT).
I will definitely go back. My only suggestion for improvement is to redo the sign outside for new clients.
