A fun course to play, I actually live on the second hole the fairways and greens have been in great shape this year. The prices have been climbing pretty strong unfortunately even when greens are aerated the price stays the same regardless that putting becomes a windmill shy of mini golf. Overall a great public course up on the mountain the newer back 9 is a blast.

I have been golfing here since I was a kid and it has only seemed to improve. I like how the front nine is smaller with narrower fairways and close to homes with a lot of trees, it makes for interesting play. On the other hand, I also really enjoy the back nine because it is the exact opposite, wide open, fewer tress and longer holes. The course is always pretty well kept and has a water hazard or two. Ever since Bison took over, they have tried to make it more of a refined institution as far as caliber for which they are esteemed as a club house, not necessarily in regards to the course, so that’s kind of annoying because it has brought the prices up a little but still worth it.

Pace of play was amazing due to the course may of had 10 people on it. Course was in great shape. Some of the holes were boring and homes were too close to the fairways and greens. The back nine was much more challenging and more scenic. All together had fun and would go back. 108 degrees in phoenix and 80 in show low
