Great option for breakfast. It can be slow sometimes, but the food is always hot and homemade omelets are good size and you won’t walk away hungry.

I might say I am not that picky of an eater. But omg, when it comes to breakfast, I like it simple and fresh. So I have always heard not that great comments about Sweetberries and never decided to check it out. But this weekend, I gave it a shot. My bf, couple of my other friends and I went there to eat breakfast. I ordered just simple 3 scrambled eggs, fresh fruit cup, and pancakes. The service was pretty good and the place was full, which I was surprised about. I got my order and when I tasted my eggs, they were very greasy. I took couple bites and did not even finish because it did not taste good. Then I decided to eat my fruit, and it was warm and tasted sour. I just could not eat my pancakes anymore, because I lost my appetite, so I got a togo box. So it was all on Saturday. That entire day I did not eat anything else. Next, Sunday morning I woke up feeling sick, with the worst nausea and(my apologies) diarrhea. Went to the doctor and found out I got food poisoning. One of my other friends had some of the symptoms of upset stomach too. I don‘t think I need to say anything more. Just simply will never go to this place again!

The food here is pretty good. Everything looks fresh maid and not out of the freezer or bought pre made. You should try it.

Well I was kinda disappointed with my food. I was supposed to get four turkey bacons with my order and I got 2 ½ plus they were burnt. Also the hashbrowns were over cooked on the outside but really gooey on the inside. My eggs were not cooked correctly either. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Was not my favorite. I would rather go eat breakfast at McDonalds. Overpriced.

It’s a small town breakfast spot. The coffee is hot and the eggs are fresh. Saturday’s can get very busy but during the weekdays it’s not that bad after 8am. The waitresses are nice. Don’t come here for anything fancy. This is just down home cooking.

Tried the place a couple of times to give them the chance to do good. Both times the food was just ok. The service here is the real problem. Worst ever! Don’t bother going if you like decent service.

Best breakfast in town. They have a warm cinnamon syrup for their pancakes that is out of this world.

Solid omelette, pancakes were pretty good too. Large portions of food and attentive service. The sweet berry sauce is delicious. My wife had the ultimate skillet, it was good not great. Coffee was ok, they had French vanilla creamer which is a plus for my more creamer than coffee drinking wife!

I really enjoyed the service, and the food was good. I recommend the sweetberries pancakes as I ended up stealing my husband’s sweetberry sauce. The regular syrup tastes like molasses, which I personally don’t want on my pancakes. Sweetberry sauce was the next obvious choice. I love berries, and even though I didn’t order it, it was delicious. I know what I will be ordering next time we go! The kids had a good time too. This is a family friendly place. The food arrived in a very reasonable time, the place was clean, had a diner atmosphere, with the pies in the case when you walk in. Though it appears to be in an old Denny’s location, it has its own style inside, and the people that work there, and customers were extremely friendly.

The food was luckily not bad but the service was really slow for only about 10 people there. Waited over 25 minutes for food to come out, no pancakes with order so I asked about them and was told they were coming, again asked, said they were coming, finished eating and check was brought to us, asked again about pancakes, girl said, oh I thought she brought them to you, did not take a discount or offer then, just said next time you come in, ask for me and I’ll take care of you. really? Why didn’t you this time? We won’t be back and I would not recommend to others who like to have good service.

Not a good experience. Place had a weird smell, like kitty litter. Nothing tasted right. Everyone in our party of 5 pushed theirs plates aside and said it tastes off. The tea tasted off, the oatmeal, the French toast and coffee. Not sure if it is the water they are using or what. In a word, yuck.

Great service, delicious food well presented. The blueberry pancakes were the best I’ve had at any place. I would come back for those pancakes!

Best local spot for breakfast. Pancakes are fluffy and soft. Variety to choose from. I like the Ultimate Skillet. Good coffee. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere makes for a great place to grab a bite. They are open from 6am-3pm. For lunch they offer salads, sandwiches, steak etc. Their sweetberries jam with toast is really good. One of my favorite local places.

Delicious breakfast! Try their Oreo pancakes with fried eggs and bacon. The meal was mouth watering and the café was clean. Friendly waitresses. It’s a bit pricy but I recommend it.

Good food, great service, clean surroundings, and nice waiters. I personally think it’s better than IHOP. It’s pretty affordable too. Definitely recommend.

We went here for breakfast mid week as was not disappointed! The food was delicious and the service friendly and attentive. My husband had a skillet, and I had their pancakes. Both were far better than we expected.

Okay, that’s not 5 stars as in Saison’s in San Francisco; that’s 5 stars as in really good breakfast/lunch restaurant in Sherman! Here’s what I mean. I live 40 +/-miles from Sherman but had an appointment in town at noon. Knowing that I would want to eat(and, to keep me from going to Momo’s Doughnuts, because I’m too old and fat!), I Unilocaled«Breakfast» and found Sweetberries. Only one review but it was positive, so I decided to go. The building has been around for awhile but the restaurant was clean, neat, bright — 5 Stars. I ordered breakfast at 1:30PM: 2 eggs over medium, corned beef hash, hash brown potatoes, dry sourdough toast, coffee. Nikki, my waitress, made a fresh pot of coffee for me and took my order promptly, friendly and efficiently. Service was perfect. Absolutely 5 Stars. Food: I’m fussy about my over medium eggs. I like a runny yolk but no runny whites — 5 Stars. Corned beef hash was cooked nicely but wasn’t the best that I’ve ever had; but, wait a minute, this is Texas, folks — 10 Stars just for having it!(And, it was 4 Star good anyway.) Hash browns, nothing special but they were done and not greasy — 3 Stars. Dry toast doesn’t sound like much but I’m at best 50⁄50 for not getting it slathered in some kind of fake butter. This was dry, and, even better, was«toasted» on the grill — soft(ish) on one side and crunchy(lightly) on the grilled side. Great! 5 Stars. Nikki continued the great service with enough followups to keep me happy but not so often as to be intrusive. I go to Sherman 4 — 5 times a year; can’t wait to go back!

Their strawberry preserves are amazing! I had them on my pancakes instead of syrup, perfect! The service is very friendly and accommodating! My coffee was anyways full. Hands down on of the best ham steaks and grits in town! My husband had the Reuben, which was piled high with corned beef. Their home made sauce was great with it. My only complaint is I had no room for dessert. I really wanted that coconut cream pie. That just means, I’ll be back soon!

We found this place while driving around, loved the food and the people working here. I had the taco salad, lots of meat!!! The sweet berry pie is so good! The cheeseburger is big and they serve the big thick fries with the skin and seasoning on them, REALLY good. Very pleased and will be coming back a lot!
