If I could give no stars I would. This place is a dirty mess. The so called part time managers are an even bigger mess. FIRST, our parking spots get taken away because he claims people with more senority needed it however the people parked in those spots are newer than us. I guess he thought I couldn’t count. Then the notes we get on our door are always about things that certain tenants do however himself and his special tenants get to break. Dogs on a leash, only if you are not liked. He even had the nerve to follow my young daughter down to the back dog walk, in the middle of the night, to spy on her. What adult male follows a young girl? Then they allow their child to rudely speak to me and tell me to shut up! Again you have to be liked in order to get respect around here. I can’t wait to move out of this hell hole! If you come to see the place and you are told there is a manager on site don’t believe them. According to him he’s part time and unavailable to even unlock a door in an emergency. How this management company has allowed this«part time» manager to stay so long when the previous manager was thrown out for allowing her family to swim in the pool is beyond me. Recommend this place? Not even to my worst enemy. The nice reviews from below are obviously the people that are allowed to do what they like. To bad the management company has put the fact that all the empty apartments here now are for an obvious reason. I’m sure I will be getting a note on my door or a 3day notice about this review but it was worth letting it all out. Better for you to know the truth than be lied too!

My wife and I lived here for 2 years. It’s generally quiet, we can listen to music and watch movies and it’s barely audible in the courtyard, which is a plus. Joe and Michelle are awesome on-site managers, always available for questions, repairs, and also super friendly and approachable. They even occasionally hosted small events like potluck/movie screenings, which is great to actually meet your neighbors. They are efficient with repairs and complaints and notify everyone with courteous notes whenever there is maintenance that affects tenants, such as water or laundry issues. The place is clean and has a beautiful dog run in back with redwoods, and everyone is pretty friendly. It’s ideally located near a market and the freeway onramp, only 25mins to UCLA via Roscomare or Beverly Glen(if you know the shortcuts). Unfortunately the rent was too high for us so we had to move but we still keep in touch as they are wonderful people. ;)

I wish there was a way to give negative stars. This place has made me hate my life. I have lived here for about 4 years and it has been the most miserable experience since day one. If you like any kind of quiet good luck. If you would like to live next to people that have any sort of respect good luck. Not to mention its right next to a section 8 apt complex with loud youths that seem to deal drugs and make noise at all times of the day and night(even up until 3am +). There’s been break ins in the underground parking and there been things stolen from me out of the parking garage by other residents. They are always coming in for smoke alarm inspection(by law, but its ever 6 months that you will be having strangers coming into your home). The water has been shut of frequently for repairs. Leaf blowers early in the morning on the weekends. I usually never get sick and anytime I run the central air or heat its a guarantee that I will get sick. I haven’t run ac/heat in 6 months and haven’t been sick once. Doors are always slamming day or night. The laundry machines use to always be broken(seems to be better now). The manager of the building(Joe De Benedetto) moved my $ 25k Ducati a half inch away from the way(I couldn’t even fit a finger in between the fairing and the concrete wall) in the parking garage from where it sat for 6 months + with no problems. I am the most peaceful person but I have been at the boiling point more times than I can count. NONE of this is an exaggeration by any stretch. If anything Im leaving out tons of other horrible things like pervious managers threatening bodily harm on residents. The only people that live here are people coming in from out of state, because they dont know any better. People cycle through here all the time. No one can stand it and now my time is up. Im leaving here asap. Oh, and they just raised my rent $ 80 a month. Update 4÷19÷12 I was talked to by Joe about this review and none of it was unfounded. I was told that these problems would be looked into. I was even told that it would be nice if I removed it. There was no offer to lower my rent or make up for having to go through any of this. It only get worse from here. And now this… Cleaned my bike last night to find out that there is a skuff in the paint right next to the head light. I lined the bike up with the where it was moved by the Manger Joe De Benedetto and it lined up perfectly with the red paint on the concrete wall where it was rubbed off of the bike. I contacted Joe about the damage to only get excuses about its he said she said at this point. He continues to stress that it was a safety issue when it sat in the same spot for 6 plus months as I was not riding it. He then goes on to say that he could of just had the bike towed. No warning what so ever. He says its longer his concern at this point and that its out of his pay grade. Which seems funny since he caused the damage personal and the building had nothing to do with it. All he had to do was ask to move it and I would have moved it. If you want you personal property damaged then threatened to have it towed for no valid reason, this is the place for you. Update(05÷23÷12) I left a note on the managers door 4 days ago that the smoke alarm in the storage unit in the parking garage is beeping(2 times a min) and that I can hear it fairly loud, especially when Im trying to sleep. Nothing has been done.
