Loved their rice with barberries and saffron! The soup was very good too. Great service as well.

I took my parents who are visiting from Texas and my brother and his daughter who are visiting from Maryland to Shiraz restaurant for lunch today. What a great experience. The service was excellent. The manager Mr. Ebi. Was extremely helpful. He suggested a platter of food with all kinds of kabob along with basmati rice. It was enough for all of us and the price was very reasonable. The food tasted great and at the end he packed what we had left over along with herbs. The servers were very polite and attentive. Over all we enjoyed our lunch. Great food, great service. God willing will go there again.

Some of the best, most authentic Persian food in Los Angeles. The beef koobideh is flavorful and juicy and the Cornish game hen is cooked perfectly. Make sure to order some mast o khiar on the side. The stews are very tasty too, especially the Fesenjoon with crispy tah-​dig rice. Ingredients are fresh and everything is prepared with care. It’s even delicious as take-​out. Highly recommended.

This place is out of this worlds. Everything from appetizers to main enters was amazing. I am visiting from Orlando Florida. I wish we had a place like this back in Florida. Service was amazing and staff are really friendly. Of ur looking for Persian food, look no further.

I feel bad giving this place 3 stars. Let me explain. Great service. Unlike most other Persian restaurants this place has fast, courteous, and attitude free service. Food was below my expectations unfortunately. The chicken barg was not fresh quality meat and the beef koobideh was really bad. So bad that we didn’t even eat it. The tadig with stew was good and they did a half and half stew at no extra charge which is amazing for a Persian restaurant. But the soltani plate was $ 23! Waaaay too expensive for what you get.

There’s one word for the food here — TASTELESS! By that, I mean that it has no flavor whatsoever. This appears to be a «Persian» restaurant for the grey-​haired crowd, who are afraid of any and all spice in their food, including some salt. Even the Sumac at the table had no flavor at all.
We tried both the Beef & Chicken koobideh — both had no taste whatsoever.
If you want to eat some good Persian food, get in the car and make a trip down to the Westside — lots of places there serving tasty food. Avoid this phony at all costs!

If you are vegetarian and love Persian food, this is the place for you. They have an entire page-​long vegetarian menu. Their food was delicious and the portions are enormous! We had a good experience with attentive waiters, who also explained a little about the food to us. They also kept our pita basket full. The one thing I will say is that this place was a little fancier than we expected, and I did feel that we were judged a little for showing up in jeans and sneakers. But we will return, as the food was delicious and they have the best vegetarian menu. Oh and they have a new free parking structure.

We have been going to Shiraz for many years. We never had one problem with their fine food, however we went there a few days ago and it was a complete mess. We had family from out of town with us and we recommended going to Shiraz because their food is so amazing. Yeah. NO! We all ordered koobideh and chicken kabobs. The koobidehs were raw inside and tasted so different than what their usual taste at Shiraz was. The chicken koobideh was undercooked, ended up vomiting later from the raw food we were served. Sad to say Shiraz, it was messed up this time, and after feeling sick I would never be back.

Always great food at Shiraz. I had the shish kabob, which was very tender and flavorful. The ambiance is always nice when seated next to the fountain. I definitely will return here.

I am giving them 4 stars only because I know my past experiences have been good, but this time I got take out and was a little disappointed.
I got their ghormasabzi (vegetarian) and masta moosir. The masta moosir and the pita bread were amazing but the ghormasabzi was SO oily. I wouldn’t recommend that but everything else I’ve had there has been good.

I’ve been coming here with my family since I moved to the east coast over 10 years ago. They never disappoint! It’s as close to home cooked Persian food as you can get in this area with a gourmet feel. I love the simplicity of the plates and the elegance of the atmosphere. I’ve never had a bad meal here and the people are super friendly and hospitable! Try a free dessert on the house if you check in. My personal favorite the rosewater pistachio gelato. Never had Persian food? Well you don’t know what you’re missing!

Delicious… I ordered food for delivery and it was amazing.
The lentil soup was great and enough for two people to eat.
I also ordered the chicken kabob plate and beef! They were both amazing!

The Service: Very good! They greet us right at the door. Seated right away. Love the indoor outdoor patio seating. The cute little fountain. The server is very attentive and quick service too.
The Food: EXCELLENT! Hugh portion… perfect to share as family style. The meat are very tender. Everything is very fresh.
The Parking: Street metered parking.
