Amazing quality Mexican food and at extremely reasonable price. I can literally say there is not one bad thing on the menu, so you cannot go wrong with anything that you order. Great salsa bar as well! They are open a lot earlier than any other mexican restraurant that serves breakfast burritos in the area! Thank you guys!

Stopped by for a quick bite in the area. Great service, great food, and great prices. Really wish there was one of these by my place!!! Can’t lose with the breakfast burritos.

Guys, I am mexican. So my standards for mexican food are really high. So when I read the reviews for this place, I was intrigued. However, i didnt scroll down far enough to read the review about the cockroaches, and unfortunately, soon after we got our a food, a little sucker came out of the plate… AND when i went to go tell the guy in the front, i tried to be discreet, and sure enough there was another one crawling in the counter. He assured us the place will close for the night, and that he will let the manager know, because«this had never happened» I believed him. He gave us our money back, and we left. I was hesitant to write a Unilocal review, BUT after seeing that this is an on going issue, i am sure they are feeding their customers food that was cooked in a kitchen infested with roaches. DISGUSTING.

This is the best restaurant ever! It’s inexpensive, delicious food, and friendly employees! I usually get the enchilada plate, the nachos, or wet burrito, but everything is good here! Such a gem within walking distance.

Awesome! Im from Northern CA and there is a lot of great affordable Mexican restaurants. This is one place that reminds me of home. Great food(had the carne asada burrito plate) quick(ordered online and was ready in less than 10 min) and affordable(asada burrito, beans, rice and chips for under $ 7.00!) Will def be back!

This place is absolutely lousy. The salsa is watered down, the meat over seasoned and with a lousy texture. The burrito was so flimsy it fell apart as I was eating it. It was missing all the flavor and substance found in a good burrito. I literally threw the entire meal away. Awful place. With such an abundance of Mexican restaurants in the area I would look elsewhere.

I walked in, 2 people behind the counter saw me, neither one acknowledged my presence or said anything. I then said«hello» loud enough for them to hear me. Still no response as they went about their other activities. I waited a few more minutes, still got no response, and left. They may have the best food in the world, but if they are this clueless and rude to customers, I’ll never come back again to find out.

REAL traditional Mexican food! It’s a small joint which makes it feel like you’re eating at your own kitchen table! I recommend the breakfast burrito and the huevos rancheros for breakfast(which I love any time of day) and of course the tacos!

Ok. So let me start by saying the food is pretty decent. I used to frequent this spot quite a bit until… I saw roaches. I was at the salsa bar doing my thing and a roach ran through the middle of the bar. I sat down, then saw one on the wall that crawled under the sign. I tried not looking for more cause I didn’t want to imagine any in the kitchen with my food. The people here are extremely nice so the review has nothing to do with service or food. I just can’t get past that experience especially since I saw another one on the wall on my way out. I’m sad cause this place is a stones throw from where I live too.

The food is not great. Tacos have homemade tortillas that are way too thick. Was expecting a street type of taco and got cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and green slimy avocado sauce on them– yuck– rice is ok– way too expensive for this quality of food–

Unique authentic Mexican. I can’t get enough of this place. The homemade gorditas are amazing. I get it with carnitas and avocado. The carnitas are crispy and tender. The Sopes are awesome. They serve a larger single sope, so don’t expect 2 in their combo. The guacamole was solid. Its fresh and made to order! $ 3 for a very large portion(1lb container.) Their chicken tacos are really really good. Great seasoning and moist. Although Pico’s meat selection is limited, I think they compensate well with quality. Prices are great, this is my go to spot, just around the corner.

My veg burrito was leaking white juice. The lettuce was not crisp. And overall taste was just blah. I’d rather go to Chipotle.

If you’re on your way to the Getty Center, and you want a quick meal with no muss, no fuss, and a chicken or beef burrito will do, you could do worse than Pico Pica Rico. I swear I’ve passed it 10,000 times. Nice guy behind the counter, pretty big burritos, and they throw a few chips on the plate too. It’s also pretty funny to see the Inca Soda in the cooler. Is that politically correct in this day and age, or a cultural misappropriation in Mexico? I dunno, and I doubt anyone has asked that question before. Easy parking in a strip mall, and a nice view looking north to Magnolia. Cheap prices. And the Getty Center exhibit of the Greco-Roman Hellenistic bronze sculptures? Don’t miss it.

This review is covering 2 things — first and foremost, the food is nothing special at all. Not terrible, but just average. So why 1 star? As people stated below, good luck getting a coupon honored. But again, not my reason. Here we go: I use Eat24 constantly. A few months back I placed a PICKUP order from Pico Pica Rico on Eat24(it’s 2 blocks away from my place). Moments after the order went through, I got an update from Eat24 that the restaurant was busy and my PICKUP order wouldn’t be ready for an hour. I ordered one plate… So, Eat24 being awesome as always canceled it for me. I tried again this week, pickup order for ONE burrito. They did the SAME thing — sent me a «restaurant is too busy, pickup order delayed» with a 45min wait, for ONE burrito, FORPICKUP!!! I called Eat24, and they called the restaurant. The owner straight up lied to them and said«I pressed the wrong button, we’ll have it ready in 5 minutes.» No, asshole, you’re doing it intentionally. This is the 2nd restaurant in the valley I’ve encountered trying to discourage people from ordering using Eat24 because they make less of a profit. If you don’t want to take orders through an app, Don’t be on the app!!!

I was thoroughly enjoying my chicken burrito, until something sharp punctured the inside of my cheek! A piece of bone, I have no idea?((Picture posted in business photos)) Thankfully I wasn’t sharing my food with my 6yr old. Very disappointing since I’ve been here twice and liked the breakfast burrito as well. Not sure if I’ll be coming back.

Quick, delicious and walking distance from our place. If you want your true and authentic Mexican craving satisfied and your on a time crunch, this place is the place to be at. I ordered the Torta and Burrito and it was PHENOMENAL. The portions are pretty generous and the prices cannot be beat. Listen, this place isn’t an ideal place for a date since it’s hidden in a small shopping center on Magnolia and Kester. This is what you call a true hole in the wall so don’t try to impress your date by bringing them here. LOL. However, it’s delicious. Service is quick and the people are nice. Their salsa bar is also fantastic. C’mon what are you waiting for? Go on son…

Well let’s see I usually don’t do small little places like this but I decided to cause I was really craving some Mexican food and it looked good and convinent. Did I mention CHEAP? Lol cause it is! And it’s FREAKINGDELICIOUS! There was lots of parking when I pulled in and in this weather I definetly don’t wanna hunt for parking space that’s too far from a place I am eating at. So let’s start of w the customer service was very much on point and very nice crew of guys and gals there. I was very pleased. Service was awesome and fast just like I love it. They also brought everything to my table even thought it’s one of those get up and do it urself type of place. And the food came out so FRESHANDPERFECT! This one is definitely a keeper and I must come here again and try other items on the menu. I ordered the full tilapia fish. It came w a side plate of salad, beans, rice and sour cream. Also chips w salsa is self served and u get ur choice of corn or flour tortilla . I mean all that w a bottles coke cost me $ 11 something! I mean come on what is there to complain about it. My little Mexican hidden treasure! Def coming back! Yum!
