I got my cut from David. Dude hooked me up with cut and straight razor shave. Great old school feel. Cool place.

Gave it 5 stars because I personally saw Manny hustling to get to every client in a reasonable amount of time. The outcome of my low tapper was flawless. The cut was even all around and gradually increasing, with scissor cut on top.

I’ve been coming to Manny’s for a few years now and I don’t see myself going anywhere else for my haircuts. I moved to the valley and I would make the drive back to LA to my old barbershop. I tried a few barbershops until I found Manny’s and haven’t looked back. It’s a nicely kept and clean place with enough seating and a tv always playing sports. I recommend Manny although you might have to wait a bit longer for him but the wait is worth it. I have a few friends that I have recommended and keep coming back also to see the other barbers. I call before I come in to get an idea of how long the wait is.

This place cut my hair first time and perfectly got what I wanted. That’s skills. Good service and good price!

This is a great, basic, get-the-job-done barber shop! I recommend the owner, Manny, who is great and really makes his customer’s feel appreciated for their business. Also, Nelson is my other first choice. He’s quiet, isn’t going to talk your ear-off, but he listens to what YOU want(not what he thinks you want!), and gets the job done perfectly. I go back to Nelson over and over, month after month(Manny has a BIG following, and usually has quite a line of customers waiting on him, but Nelson is no 2nd choice!). If Nelson isn’t around, or is out at his quick dinner break, I will either wait or come back… I am not chancing it with anyone else. :-)

Manny is a great guy and Nelson is a highly skilled barber, be sure to get your cut by him. The only thing I wish they changed here was having Wi-Fi. If Nelson is not there; get your hair cut by the woman all the way to the right. They’re always on the same stations. I struggled to find a barber when I moved to LA3 years ago and I haven’t looked back ever since I found this place/Nelson.

I’ve come here twice, and both times Nelson cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it. I get a skin fade with a little off the top and a hardline on my part. Nelson delivered. Price is great and the service is top notch. Parking lot is a little small, but it’s LA. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been coming here since I moved down to Los Angeles in 2013. Not only is Manny probably one of the nicest barbers you will ever meet, his old school barbershop is just the place to get an old fashioned haircut, shave, and just about anything else you want, Manny’s got you. I haven’t had a bad experience here, and with any barbershop, if you stick to somebody consistently, they will know what you prefer, the lumps and bumps of ya noggin, etc. I highly recommend this place! Can’t go wrong with any of the barbers here. Good luck and see ya there!

I been coming here for my haircut for the past couple of years and won’t go anywhere else. Manny has been cutting my hair and has done a great job every single time. The prices are very affordable and the wait is reasonable for this place and the quality.

I get a hot towel shave from Manny(the owner, obviously) once or twice a month. He really knows what he’s doing, and takes his time to ensure perfection. With that said, however, that means if you come in any time after normal business/working hours, or all day on Fridays, you can expect to wait. The quality of some of the other barbers is questionable, which explains my previous statement, but all good things in life are worth waiting for. The parking lot is pretty small considering the number of businesses present, so you may have to street park – which can be a pain. For the amount of time he takes with each customer, the prices are more than fair. I would love to give this place 5 stars, but I came in once(while in a rush) and had a newer woman give me a shave and it was awful. Stick with what you know, ha!

Been faithfully going here for about 4 years now. It is an old school barber shop. A single row of barber chairs. The only 2 that have ever touched my head are Consuelo, she mans the chair nearest the door. Manny has the third chair. They have both given me amazing cuts I was very happy with. I have gotten your basic haircut with scissors only, to no guard full head shaves to low and high fades. Plus you can pay with a credit card. It can be a bit of a wait if you wait for Manny. If both are there I choose whichever one is free first. They are quite busy, so I say it is best to get there when they open. I got a fresh cut 2 days ago and the barber at the end of the line looked at me annoyed when I told him I would wait for Manny. Que sera sera.

The best place in town. For years, I was looking for one consistent person who can repeatedly give me the same haircut without the hit OR miss kind of hairdressers that I have been going to over the year which regardless of what I paid, I had to get lucky to really like it right. The only downside it that you may have to wait in line a bit but what can I do, I am still ok with it as I keep on working and doing my emails and such while waiting. Thank you Manny and his team. Sorry to say but David doesn’t know how to cut hair he needs a lil bit more of training. My BF doesn’t like his haircut at all.

After my longtime barber retired from a different barbershop, I was in the market for a new one. I’m always skeptical of having my hair handled by new people, so I checked out a couple of places with good Unilocal reviews. Having stopped at Manny’s, I thought I would give it a try. The place is a traditional barbershop filled with a single line of chairs. They have both male and female barbers who work quickly through mostly walk-in customers. The location is in a small strip mall surrounded by apartments, so parking can be a challenge. On my first visit I just went with the first-available barber who is a female(can’t remember her name). She did a decent job so I returned a couple of time to her, but I was getting a little irritated by how much of the loose, cut hair was still on my head after I was done. She didn’t bother combing and blowdrying to clear it out so I wanted to try someone else. I checked Unilocal to see if a particular barber was being reviewed and saw Manny’s and Nelson’s names come up. Manny is usually busy with repeat customers, so I tried out Nelson. He is quiet, friendly, works fast, and does a great job. I sit down, tell him what level of fade, tapered in the back, and he takes it from there. I’m in the chair for maybe a total of 20mins and he’s cut, trimmed, thinned, straight razored, and cleaned me up. My wife thinks he does a better job than my previous barber did, so that’s definitely a plus. I’ve been going back every 3 wks for the last 8 months and am happy that I’ve found a reliable barber. Haircuts are $ 16+tip, so it’s reasonable and I will keep coming back.

I chose Manny’s based on the excellent reviews I saw on Unilocal and Google, and I am not disappointed! The readings are accurate and well deserved; this is my best experience getting my hair cut. I walked in without an appointment and was immediately directed to Maria, who seated me. Maria was patient and listened intently while I explained what I was after. Once she explained what she envisioned and I agreed, she got started. Maria worked quietly(which is fine!), so I scanned the rest of the barbershop periodically and always noted the friendly yet meticulous service that each barber provides, Maria included. I ended up with the best fade I’ve ever had, not to mention the overall haircut! I already consider myself a regular at Manny’s!

I hate to rate this place so low. The shop was packed but the wait was short, with all chairs filled. They accept credit card which is fantastic. Manny was a couple seats from me & he looked & acted very professional. I’m sure a haircut from Manny would be spot on. However, my haircut wasn’t so great. It wasn’t done by Manny but I didn’t catch the guy’s name.(We didn’t speak thru out the cut which I don’t mind at all). He was very thorough with my cut but it wasn’t till I get home & my friend pointed out that the back of my head’s fade looked like it wasn’t finished. I didn’t inspect the back when my cut was done because my eye sight sucks & the front was sharp so I figured it would be fine. Guess not. Hopefully Manny can fix it, this really sucks!

Super clean razor fades. Just as clean as the hypebeast barber shops in Hollywood. I stopped going all the way to Hollywood cause it was too much hassle, and these guys are just as good. Cheaper too, so now I get my fade cleaned up every single week. Legit.
