OMG!!! Best Pizza in the valley and quite possibly on Earth. You have to come here. There is no other place that can compete. You will never go anywhere else once you try this. And, the guys working here are awesome too. My new Favorite. Visit often!!!

Terrible. I had to cancel an order literally minutes after placing it because of an emergency, and the person on the phone told me «what you do is a terrible thing» and that I was a «piece of shit» Its too bad, because the pizza is good. But this attitude is totally unacceptable. This is NOT the way to treat customers. I’m horrified by this behavior and will NEVER eat here again. My advice to management, instruct your employees on customer etiquette.

BEWARE! Stay away from this place. The pizza comes soggy, the marinara sauce and cheese is tasteless and I’m pretty sure has no salt. I seriously don’t understand anyone who likes this place. This is NOT New York pizza. New York pizza has a nice crusty bottom, NOT soggy. We ordered the party size pizza, paid $ 60, and they didn’t even refund us a cent… and we had to order food again that night. HUGE waist of money for the most disgusting pizza I’ve tried in LA(and I’ve tried A LOT).

This is a great place to get a slice of pizza it’s huge enough for one person dinner. The pieces pretty good the thin crust delicious you like it spicy ask for some red pepper. Try this place is great great pricing too.

This is one of my favorite pizza places, which I’ve been going to for years. The slices are huge and tasty too.

Depending on who is serving you, service is good. The older gentleman is a bit rube. But overall I keep coming back because the portions are huge and they are priced fairly. Pizza is the best here. They also have good pasta if you want something else.

The service is fast and friendly, but the pizza is sadly mediocre. There is nothing«New York» about this pizza. The crust is too thick(and wrong texture), almost no cheese, overly sweet sauce. I truly wish their product was better; good service like this deserves to be rewarded with repeat business but, with poor pizza like this, I won’t be coming back.

The worst pizza I’ve had in a while… well someone brought bad pizza over and apparently we hit the restaurant again. Bad crust, fake cheese… not sure what else can you say. Would have given them 0 stars if I could

This place has the biggest, crunchinest pizza. So flavorful, and the guys behind the counter are so kind and patient. It takes me a while to think of the toppings, but they’re patient.

This was an awesome FIND! A Greek owned chain I believe…(also sell Greek Salad, and Gyros!). MAINEVENT is NEWYORKPIZZA —You want NEWYORK style? THISISTHEPLACE! YUM These slices are thin and HUGE and the sauce says NEWYORK! It was hot in the valley so it felt like New York too. DELICIOUS by the slice add your toppings and viola served piping hot to your table. Very nice older man making the pizza and happy fellow cuz he knows we are gonna ENJOY this pizza… and chilling with some nice ice cold 138 Water my bf got me(«1 meaning, 3 words, 8 letters = I Love You»). Nothing but SMILES here! Popular spot Check it out!

I love giant slices of New York pizza, and I’m always interested in trying one I haven’t tried before. Went to Greco’s in Sherman Oaks today. The staff is very nice, and the slice of pizza I ordered was huge — but the taste was bland and flavorless. I went in there with a lot of goodwill, and I was ready to love it, but until they re-think their sauce and add some flavor to it, I’m not repeating.

I’m updating my review. I gave this place another try and ordered a slice of cheese pizza. It was huge(no wonder they charge what they do for a slice) and not bad. The crust was too thin for my preference, but the cheese and sauce were decent. I’ll be back.

The cashier overcharged us by $ 8+. When we explained that to him he sort of played dumb and studied the receipt and declared that he only overcharged us $ 1.50 only. I didnt feel like fighting with him. It was late, we were hungry, I wasn’t in the mood to argue– so I ended up accepting getting ripped off. The pizza was just okay. Good for a drunken late night and watch what you’re being charged for!

This is nothing like real New York pizza except for the size of the slice and the thin crust. The crust is hard and tasteless. The cheese is more like a strange, glossy, semi-transparent . It reminded me of this place in Hollywood that was pretty terrible and it turns out, it was another Grecos. :-(

Wow what a horrible experience we had at this place! I hate putting bad reviews but this place was really horrible. Let’s start off with the service… I give them an F-. For one they don’t greet you. For two they ignore you and then called me blind for asking a question about an item. Wow how rude. I was disgusted at that point and wanting to leave but I decided to stay cause I wanted to put his bad attitude past me and try the food. So we ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza, a slice of cheese with pineapple and spaghetti and meatballs. It was 3 of us and we ordered the 3 items. So they took the slices of pizza we asked for by the front window and popped them into the oven. Then he gets the to go bowl for the spaghetti and starts putting it all together. So we ask for bread to go with the spaghetti and he yells at us and says«For What!» Omg I was so mad. I felt like a little kid at school and couldn’t talk back cause he was an older gentleman. He says you don’t need no bread you ordered pizza that’s enough food for u! Wow so disrespectful. So now for the food. I will say the pizza was pretty decent. Nice and cheesy with plenty of pepperoni on top. The pineapple pizza was decent too. I will say that there pizzas are immensely huge. You can definitely share a slice. Now for the pasta it was tasteless. The pasta was undercooked, the sauce was just tomato sauce with no added flavor and the meatballs had no seasoning. My 13yr old sister can make it better. And they are expensive and rude to top it off. The only cons here is that there is plenty of parking. And of course we got our food to go. There was no way we could sit there and get scolded. So on my way out I dropped a piece of paper from my purse and(I’m assuming the owner) tells me I just swept my floor don’t make a mess I don’t want to clean again! Seriously! I dropped a piece of paper! Never again! Never ever again!

New York pizza in the valley, really? I’m from the tri-state and let me clarify that there is nothing like New York(or chicago) style pizza… The older gentleman working said he was originally from Brooklyn but he came to live in California when he was a teen. Last I checked that doesn’t mean you know anything about how to make a great pizza, let alone at the ripe and tender age of twelve. Okay so you argue that the slices are cheap and huge… and? They also taste like cardboard. I cannot stress that there is nothing special about this place whatsoever! Please people get over the hype and take a trip to Manhattan or any of the other four boroughs and do yourselves a favor and try real pizza; this place is a joke. It’s not air conditioned so it’s hot as all heck. and the décor is very out dated as well. The parking situation is about the only thing that is okay.

Should be a felony charge against this place for using the word New York in their name. I had better pizza in Idaho. Tastes like frozen crap.
