This place is now closed but another bar is there. (I just had to add a star for a review update doesn’t mean anything)

This place, is no longer on my list for ANYTHING GOOD, … SUCKS!
They erased everything good to name. All memerys erased. Took an Über there this weekend, not there 1min bouncer tells us «sorry guy’s dress code can’t come in» trying to get good people in only «wtf?
Had to call another Über and spend my money else ware. No was there, totally all new people working there, and changed to T. I’ll do all in can to spread the word NOT TO GO THERE!

NO LONGER IN BUSINESS. I had a reservation on Saturday Aug 1^st 2015 which I made just a week before just to get there and find out the place had been shut down. My party of 20 people were all pissed, I was pissed and it ruined everyone’s night. The supposed hostess never reached out to let me know not to go. HORRIBLE! The website is still not updated.

I came here this past Friday (6÷31÷2015).
It was closed. No signs stating why they were closed. We called and some weird message played. Unilocal read that they were open. Sucks that we made the drive to find out they were closed! Their website didn’t say they were closed.

It wasn’t open on a Friday night around midnight. It looks like this place has gone out of business.

The drinks are good! The bartenders are nice and smile unlike other places I’ve been! It’s dark good for groups! The things I didn’t like are that it was super hot and kinda smelled like bo then they didn’t play the music loud so you heard other people talking hella loud instead of music.

Not my type of place AT ALL. It’s too dark and TOO crowded. Very small spot, so it is hard to move around or even get a drink. This place needs a serious renovation.

Small place, a little hole in the wall kind of drinks are reasonable prices dance floor is ok music is alright but the guy to girl ratio is an hit or miss place, what I need is more girls on Saturday and a lot more on Friday :)

Nice and intimate spot. Small and dark, the dj and music is ok and can be much better, the staff its friendly.
I celebrated a birthday here with over 10 people. We had a booth all to ourselves, we were lucky there aren’t many and space is limited. Had a good time

My wife and went here on 1÷17÷15 at about 11:30. We were inside less than 10 minutes before being attacked by two people while we were dancing on the dance floor. Then ensued a large brawl between other patrons and the security. I managed to get my wife and I out thank god, but not after several cuts and bruises between us both. This bar has gotten extremely dangerous and unless you know how to defend yourself I would not recommend you come here. Trouble seems to be here on a consistent basis. I have filed a police report on the incident due to the complete lack of security checks on the patrons attending this bar. A very scary ordeal for my wife and i… stay away!

I would never go back! First of all the place had a small parking lot and had a hidden sign. When I came back to my car it had been towed ! I talked to the bouncer and he said they started to do this two weeks ago for the holidays. If he knew that this was going in he should warn people that there is a hidden sign and not to park there! I would not go back! The bouncers are shady, when I arrived they seen me park and welcomed me in the club. I would not be surprised if they are in on it. This is the worst club ever and they will try and take your money !

Walking up to it I wasn’t too sure how my night would go. It didn’t look too busy and after checking id you walk down this side path, wondering where the music is. I guess you enter through the back and only exit through the front door. The dance floor was actually packed and the dj was playing some good music to dance too. It’s a good place to go when you don’t feel like doing the typical la club scene and you want to keep it chill.

You have to know what you’re walking into when you come to Coda. This isn’t your typical LA or Hollywood spot and I dig it. There’s no cover, no hassle with parking, and no frills (plus it’s close to home) but there’s cool, fun people, good 90s early 2000s hip hop and cheap drinks. It’s not a big space and the décor isn’t anything special but for what it is that’s ok. I have been here twice and have had a great time on both occasions. If you’re looking for something more upscale, trendy with specialty drinks (which I happen to enjoy as well so not knocking it) then this isn’t the place for you. But if you’re looking for a good time at low key, chill spot then check it out.

I would give this review zero stars if it were possible. A few gfs and I went here last Friday night to have a girls night out dancing. We ended up only staying for 10 minutes and had to leave after a huge and unnecessary fight broke out. The caliber of people that go to coda is very low. Maybe it’s different on other nights, but that night we all feared for our safety and quickly got out.

So I was. There last Thursday for a bday party and I made reservations at 9pm cause the reviews says it gets packed quickly, mouth when I got there I think there was couple other people around 9:30p at first we started a round of drinks which were pretty much very very weak and I’m a light weight, I felt like I was drinking juice that’s all, mi had to resort to shots just to losen up a bit and they barely hit me, again I’m a light weight so that says a lot about their drinks. Note: they don’t serve food.

The booth we got in was pretty beat up and checked other booths and same thing they really need to update their furniture cause there was holes and gum stuck to the seat. etc
The dance floor was very small and it got packed pretty quickly and got hotttttt as helllllll idk if they have A/​C or not. But thankfully their booths are big and we danced inside our booths.
Music is the ONLY reason why I gave them 3stars everything else is a half star. Music was amazing the DJ is awesome and I want to steal is playlist!!!
Bottom line I’d only go there if I was dragged.

We arrived early for happy hour and were told that all drinks were $ 2 off normal prices. We ordered 4 drinks at $ 6 each (happy hour price) and 2 drinks at $ 8 (non– happy hour price). So, total bill should be $ 40
Bartender gave us a $ 53 dollar bill and had the nerve to say that he couldn’t provide an itemized reciept. WHAT A LIE. If you can ring up a $ 53 total then you should be able to provide an itemized reciept. I just can’t believe that he lied straight to our faces when we obviously caught him over charging us.
It seems payment discrepancy happens a lot at Coda. Check out some of the previous reviews… other people have had similar issues with payment.
DO NOT come here unless you want to be scammed out of your money.

Went for a meetup event… not sure it’s conducive to that, but bartenders were super friendly. The secret is to start a tab and be nice, then you’ll get their attention all night long.
Dark space with several hidden steps… would be fun for a happy hour probably. I like that the smoking area is right outside on a patio, so that makes it a friendly place for those «smoking only while I’m drinking» types like me. Lots of cozy banquette seating and fake candle light.
If you’re in the Valley, you should check this place out. All around friendly staff and $ 8 to $ 10 a drink non-​HH isn’t that bad.

Fun place to go but very small. Drinks are inexpensive.
I would give it four stars but waiter added tip in twice on my receipts. Im already giving you a cash tip and you have the decency to steal from me? I thought I had found a nice place but they are thieves

Came here for a friends birthday and it was pretty fun. The music here was awesome the DJ was really good and had us dancing.
Really cute small bar/​lounge. Very dim setting. It’s a local bar everyone seemed to know each other. Cool bartenders and chill bouncer.
Drinks are priced reasonably and are strong but not too strong I was buzzing it with 3 vodka tonics.
The only problem here is that since its small it gets soooo HOT and you start to sweat and it’s so gross.
