Ben & Jerry’s

The service was bad and they charged extra for the nuts that were supposed to be included on my girlfriends cone… way to expensive for the quality and service. Ill never go back.

Was here this evening 40 minutes till closing and the service was GREAT!!! Very friendly and very helpful not to mention the worker that helped me was very knowledgable when it came to the menu. I didn’t catch his name but I do recall he had a tattoo on his arm and we talked about chipotle. This was my first time here and I will for sure be coming back, definitely deserves 5 stars!

Who doesn’t love good old Ben & Jerry’s ice cream??!
They give you samples to try which is always awesome. You can get a scoop of ice cream and then take home a pint if you really want.
It’s never been too busy or crowded and the staff is pretty friendly. Stop by for a scoop of chocolate brownie if you’re craving something sweet!

$ 5 and change for one scoop in a cup! I cringe at the fact I paid for this expensive, over rated ice cream but anything for my baby girl who loves ice cream.

I have to be very careful with dairy, so coming to a place like Ben & Jerry’s is usually limited to cookies and brownies. As far as selection and options go, B&J is descent. Adventurous flavors is about all that makes this place neat. Aside from that, nada! Prices are atrocious and baked goods were terrible. What I paid for a brownie could have nearly got me a full batch at a grocery store, which would also probably be fresher. Customer service was sad to put it simple. You can really tell a lot about how a place is ran by the attitude of its employees and the girl running the store looked as if she was trying to secretly plead for someone to save her. So yeah, it wasn’t too hard to tell that halfway through my order, nobody wanted to be in this place. This B&J is in dire needs of a pick me up. I highly suggest cheaper prices for starters. And please have fresh cookies and brownies! A boost in employee morale would also be a huge investment. Otherwise, coming here and buying something would almost make me feel guilty because I would wonder why the employee that helped me seemed so depressed to be there. Overall, Ben & Jerry’s is a great brand name and this store doesn’t really add to the positive experience of that. I’d suggest foregoing this place and just buying a container at your local grocery store.

So… place was closed, workers cleaning. To set the scene. Three stoned, partially drunk but more stoned guys walk by. «hey you open, they ask». No she sadly replied. «But we’re stoned, I rhetorted. I ordered a cake for my wife’s 50^th birthday, it’s all she said she wanted. When I went to pick it up, NO CAKE. I was offered to buy a pre made vanilla and chocolate cake. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? No offer to at least give me a pint or half pint at least of the ice creams I had ordered. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

It is a tradition to grab ice cream before my friends and I go home. We are always in Ben & Jerry’s pretty late at night. Tonight it was really obvious that the place is just never at its best, The floor is dirty, chairs are everywhere, napkins on the floor, partially filled ice cream freezer, employees hanging out on their phones. It’s just a very blah experience.

Went in tonight and ordered 3 sugar free vanilla fudge ice cream scoops. It’s Passover and after carefully reviewing the nutrition labels in the binder I saw it followed the guidelines for Passover, I then specifically asked the woman working to give me that specific flavor she handed me the cups of ice cream at first bite I noticed it had a strawberry flavor, I then asked and she assured me she messed up the flavor, even though I specifically clarified so many times! It’s appalling that number one people are hired without proper training and number two someone’s inability to listen! do yourself a favor and stay away if you have a specific flavor in mind because hey you might get something completely different!

It’s Ben & Jerry’s so of course it’s delicious! I just moved to LA from the east coast and it’s pretty tough to find actual ice cream most places serve frozen yogurt. Plus it’s a made in Vermont product and I’m a New Englander, makes me feel closer to home.

Varied ice cream choices which are all tasty. If you can’t decide on a flavor you can have a free sample. Location is convenient and staff is pretty friendly.

It’s Ben and Jerry’s nuff said… Ok I’ll say more. I always like a cup or Cone, love the fact it’s a Vermont business and they are about sustainability. Secret trick for newbies that come here, you can get freshly made cookies and brownies you just have to ask as they are not on the menu. Also, they have fantastic ice cream birthday cakes they make custom for any occasion packed with all the awesome flavors. Love b and j. Peace!

I LOVE ICE CREAM!
This is good ice cream no doubt about it but…
It is no better than the ice cream you can buy at your local store pre packed from ben and Jerrys. That being said here it cost more!
Cause of that i say its good place to have when you go out to eat at the galleria like we have it’s a much better dessert option then you will get in most the local restaurants in the galleria with the exception if you feel like cheese cake i think you know where to go hint hint ;)
But hey its nice to have a place like this to go to after you eat. but to come here just to get ice cream Methinks not! go to your local store and just buy a pint it’s cheaper and more convenient

Note to Unilocalers — anyone who gave Ben and Jerry’s less than 5 stars has no heart! This particular location in the Galleria is great. Not too crowded, delicious as always, and really friendly workers!
I’d go with a Late Night Snack cone or a coffee milkshake any day of the week. In fact, this review is over because I need a shake RIGHT NOW!

***The best bet at this Ben & Jerry’s might be to go with the in-​shop-​only flavors; I had the Chunky Monkey and Cherry Garcia and I actually prefer the grocery containers; the ice cream here tasted fine, but it was too soft***
This Ben & Jerry’s is located in the Sherman Oaks Galleria, which has its own parking structure. I am not sure what they charge for parking.

Woohoo! I came here for free cone (or cup) day! Sooo… awesome! Like I said before, my FAVORITE word is FREE next to sale. LOL I normally get my usual flavor — Chunky Monkey (banana ice cream with fudge bits and walnuts) because it’s über yummy but I thought since it’s free let’s try something new, then I don’t lose anything! :)
The location is smaller than the location in Burbank but it serves it’s function. Got my ice cream and left.
Oooh, I tried one of their new flavors — Late Night Snack. OMG! Who came up with this concoction!!! It’s ingenious! I fell in love with it. Let me break it down for y’all — it’s Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with a Salty Caramel Swirl & Fudge Covered Potato Chip Clusters! Mmm… sweet and salty!!! Now ladies… you know when it’s that time of the month… this sounds sooo good. LOL I just hate that this is pricey ice cream but I will be back next year for free cone day! or when there’s a sale at the grocery store. ;)

Hey — Zombie-​Innards! Guess what? Ben & Jerry’s Mint Chocolate Chunk is minty as can be, made with real peppermint extract, and has so many giant chunks of incredible chocolate-​y goodness, I occasionally have to gather them with a spoon and set them aside for a post-​ice cream treat. To reward myself for all the excellent ice-​cream eating I have done.
Sorry, but since you are a horrible Ben & Jerry’s hating, soulless THING, you (unlike me) will never be rewarded for anything. Your life is meaningless. Even your family doesn’t love you. It’s true. They told me. But they also said if you bring them a pint of Chunky Monkey, they won’t tell the authorities about your cold, dead heart. And they won’t try to stake you in your sleep. So I’d think about it.
