Couple of weeks back while on business travel, my buddy and I discovered 9021 Phở. Couple of Phở places around the area we checked, either had bad reviews or had shut down so we took a chance at going to a restaurant located in a mall. The food was excellent and our server MiMi was great and suggested menu items based on our tastes and preferences. I would highly recommend Brussels Sprouts appetizer and Phở !! Will go back when I am back in the area.

More hype less substance!!! Ordered a beef soup which comes with meatballs, sliced beef and beef brisket. I told them to just give me it with brisket. Soup and back in a big bowl and literally had to swim to find any meat. I’m love phở and normally eat at traditional phở restaurants. These smaller less fancy places give you a mouthful of delightness. However, this one time I failed in getting the type of phở it’s supposed to be. Unhappy eating!!!

Today we had the Chicken fresh rolls with the amazing sauce it comes with. I had the Lemongrass stir fry and the missus had the black bean stir fry which was also exceptional. All thanks to Jade, she advised us to try these amazing meals. Service was quick, and Jade made sure we enjoyed our dinner. 5⁄5 from us.

PORKBELLYBAŃHMI is Yummy! Wish the sweet potato fries were a little more crispier. But, the star is really the sandwich. You may… You may not like it. But, a MUST try. :)

Okay, I’ll be honest, if you’re looking for super traditional amazing phở, this place might not be what you want. But if you’re shopping and in the mood for some good Vietnamese noodle soup, this is the place for you. I’ve been told the whole menu is pretty tasty, but I stuck with the phở. The chicken curry phở to be precise. It was super yummy. I do wish it would have been spicier, but I wasn’t disappointed. I also got the brussel sprouts as an app and loved them! Our server, Danny, was great and even the supervisor, Alexis, was super attentive to our needs!

I have been an avid lover of 9021pho for years(I used to dine in BH) since moving to SO I started dining here. The food is always consistent however the service was spotty at best and very slow, until now!!! The addition of Patty is a remarkable change, I love her, and service was on point with her direction!!!

this restaurant used to be better before they started changing their menu. service is good but food is way too salty. Food is inconsistent also in it’s flavor. We had ordered the noodle dish and second time it came out it was drenched in sauce and I felt like I was eating salty soup. Bit overpriced for the quality of food. Would not recommend this particular location.

Thia place is awesome — good food and wine, right in the mall which is perfect after a long day shopping. If you go, ask for Danny — he is the best server!

First time trying 9021PHO, was pretty good, ordered the Pork Belly Baguette. Was expecting a little sandwich, but got a pretty hearty meal. Soups looked really good, will definitely try out more of the menu and other branches. Service was really pro thanks to Steve!

I actually tried to see if I could do NO stars !!! My boyfriend brought me here for my first Phở. The food was AMAZING !!! That’s where it all falls apart ~ We ordered the Sriracha wings as a starter and 2 bowls of Phở. Right after we ordered the wings, we realized that we weren’t asked if we wanted boneless wings but our server said it was too late and the order was already in. Fine, my bad. Phở comes to the table… no wings. No one comes to check on us or refill our glasses, nothing. 40 minutes later no wings. BTW — these are the same wings that 45 minutes ago, we couldn’t change to boneless as «the order already went in.» «Cancel them please…» As we were part way through the meal, the wings arrive, slathered in Sriracha… and they were worth the wait. All in all, my first experience was«the amazing food was worth the poor service.» Second time, my boyfriend wasn’t feeling well and all he wanted was Phở. So we head back… this time, not only was the service WORSE but so was the food. We each ordered a soup — both were cold. Last time the veggies were cooked in the soup, this time a plate of cold left over veggies were brought on the side. No one checked in on us, refilled our water, followed up on our wings… which were no where to be seen 35 minutes after our soup arrived. The BONELESS wings(I remembered) were COLD when they finally arrived and where as before, they were slathered in sauce, this time they were dry. When I mentioned it to the server, she apologized and sent over the«manager» who was dressed in what I would wear to clean out my garage. She had a horrible attitude. She wasn’t the least apologetic and she just didn’t really care. I felt as though I was inconveniencing her. «I can reheat these for you !» I didn’t leave my house so I can have microwave leftovers. I’m paying for hot, fresh food… We came pretty early so the place wasn’t packed… in fact, between kitchen staff and wait staff, they outnumbered the customers. We won’t be back — The only consistency this place had ~~~ it was consistently worse than the last time.

The service here is shocking, been here twice now(must be a sucker for punishment), it actually got worse each time. I don’t know if its because this is in a mall — and I believe the one in BH is a stand alone restaurant — but whatever it is — these people do not care. I went with my girlfriend in the afternoon, it was really quiet and still the service was bad. The soups took a ridiculous amount of time to arrive at our table, when they arrived they were cold — I asked for extra veggies with the soup and I was served with several half cooked, cold remnants somebody threw on a plate. The sriracha hot wings appetizer came after our entrees and were cold. The waitress asked if we would like them redone, my girlfriend asked how? — the waitress said«microwave» — so we said no. A few minutes later another girl brings the same wings out of the kitchen(she wasn’t joking about the microwave) — they were luke warm at best, and all the sriracha had dried away, I mean they just couldn’t be bothered at all. I said I wasn’t paying for them, and they didn’t cause too much of a fuss — mainly because these people don’t care! There were no water refills, no extra napkins provided, I had to get up and walk around to find some. A minor thing and I wouldn’t have even minded if the service was great, but one girl was serving food in what looked like her pajamas. It came to the check and one girl took our card, then another girl handed us the receipt to sign and the card back — but low and behold no one had run the card, they just handed it to each other and then back to us. We did the right thing and left here to never return. I was stunned when we walked out to see four guys in the kitchen, there were more staff than diners and they still the couldn’t bring food out on time. I won’t go back here, I may try the one in BH as being a Gluten Free couple its not easy to find places we can eat at. PEACE!

I come to Phở at least once a week maybe more. There’s never been a time where I haven’t been completely happy with customer service. I always get the Phở Ga, it’s my first option. This soup is honestly the best soup I have ever tasted in my life. I wouldn’t choose any other place to go. It’s worth my money. The food isn’t any ordinary food, it’s beyond amazing. It’s exceed my expectations each time. Steve the server is always very nice, he asks if everything is okay, and if I need anything he always comes right away. Chef David come to the table my mom and I were at because she had a problem with her meal and be right away fixed it for her. I was so impressed. I love coming here.

Let me start off by saying that their brussel sprouts are THEBESTTHANGEVA! Every time my family and I go, we have to order the brussel sprouts… GETEM! Anyway, I’d definitely recommend anyone to come here. I’ve been to this location and also the one inside of the Glendale Galleria. These two locations were pretty good and I have no complaints! Love love love!

We were at the mall and as Macy closed at 7pm, we wondered towards the parking lot and found this place. After settling in and ordering, say. around 7:10pm or so, by 7:40pm we still didn’t get our food. Wow! The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy but they must have been taking care of all their to-go orders and forgot about us. Anyway, we got the white fish sliders for $ 10 and Phở Bo for $ 11. The sliders were tiny(and were their excuse for why the order was late coming out). See the picture and judge for yourselves if they’re worth $ 10. The phở, however, was surprisingly decent. We are from Little Saigon in OC so have high standards when it comes to Phở. Not bad at all.

I wonder if they really thought the clever name was going to sell itself… I’ve seen 9021PHO years back but never been until a few days ago because we were in a such a rush to grab a quick bite. We would’ve gone to Phorage(I have a review for that) instead but it was quite a ways from where we were. First off it was anything but quick. There were just about 6 tables sat in there and 2 servers. For the avg phở restaurant things should be moving pretty quickly. We were sat and never acknowledged for over 10 minutes. Our orders also showed up unfashionably late. Their menu and some dishes… Was supposedly«changed» recently so some of the dishes don’t even match the description on the menu. For example the Crunchy Rolls which were supposed to be made w rice paper deep fried according to the menu is actually panko crusted. Furthermore when I asked the server if it was good anyway, she gave me that hesitant answer and said well it’s not like those Vietnamese ones because the panko makes it different w one of those IDK/stank faces. Ok… So no, not ordering it. We ordered the deep fried fish fillets. They came out nice n crunchy but frozen tasting and dry. It absolutely lacked any sort of presentation but perhaps that’s the exact look they were going for. The manager set it on our table and the 3 of us literally looked at each other and chuckled. You’ll see why in my pic. My brother doesn’t care but I thought to myself, if this was my restaurant I’d surely give the presentation at least a sliver of thought. Here? Nonexistent. We a ordered their Phở Bo which is a combination of rare beef, beef brisket, and beef balls… Tendon add 3 dollars?!? Which I did. At most phở restaurants it comes with it. At this point, my bowl of phở just costed me 13 bucks before tips n tax. Anyone can tell you that’s way too much for a bowl of phở unless you’re at Phở Saigon in Amsterdam. Go there if you are in Amsterdam. You won’t regret paying 15 dollars there. So I added 3 bucks to my phở w the Tendon. That was a joke in itself. It was comedy once I saw how the tendon was prepped and served. They didn’t even bother cutting it up. It was such a MASSIVE piece of tendon I didn’t end up eating it after I tried taking a bite. Just check out my photo. It’s like the size of a half burrito. That was way too funny. Soup was MSG to the max and the flavors were slightly. I can’t pinpoint what exactly was off but it was missing something in my opinion. Their special drinks menu was half unavailable. When I saw«9021PHO» for the first time years back in Beverly Hills, I chuckled and said«clever» to my friend. When I finally ate here for the first time this past weds, I also chuckled… This place is a joke. Come for the comedy not the food. I’m on the fence w one vs two stars. It’s pricey but edible and service was nice although slow. Perhaps two is ok w caution.

I had a bad experience(twice) with the BH location of 9021Pho — but decided to come here anyway since I was starving, had to be at this mall anyway and the only other food options are burgers and hot dog on a stick(or the café at bloomies) My service was fantastic — she was sweet and very attentive and my food was delicious — hot and fresh and came out very quickly. Got curry noodles with chicken and shrimp and a phở bo add on bowl. I would eat in this location again definitely. Fast, friendly, good food.
