Came here for my sons birthday lunch. Food was good. They never brought out our egg rolls which we ordered and never got them at any point during our visit. Ca young girl brought half of our food out, and it took 10 min. For the other half to come out. Before she walked away we asked if she could bring two forks because they were completely out of forks at the condiment bar. She was short about it and gave us a «what do I look like look.» When she came back with the rest of our parties food, we asked again for two forks. She said just a min and went inside. 5 min later I sent my son to go see if they had any forks at the condiment bar and it was full. The girl apparently took it personal that we had the nerve to ask her for forks. We would have gotten them ourselves if they weren’t out to begin with. I didn’t care too much I had planned on leaving a review one way or the other. I was just leaving it up to them to wether it would be bad or good.

The best fast Asian food in town. The spring rolls are always fresh, crispy, hot and delicious.

This Pei Wei is awesome! Their teriyaki crunch rolls are always tightly wrapped and look great and consistent and they always give me a little dish to mix soy sauce and Wasabi. The pad Thai is always delicious and the customer service is excellent.

I eat here often and have never had a bad meal. It has always been great! Today, in addition to the great food, one of the servers helped me out with two different items. I love Pei Wei!

I eat here often and most of the time it is pretty good. However three times in the past 2 months including today my chicken has been undercooked. I usually order this for a quick lunch on the go so i do not have time to not be eating my chicken. I am disappointed that it has happened 3 times. I will give them another chance but it better not keep happeneing. Other than the undercooked chicken they are much better than panda express.

Food good. Shitty service. They took 20 minutes to make my to go order. The girl behind the counter was very slow and seemed like she didn’t care about the customers. Then, when my order was finally ready they gave it to someone else! Never go here. Awful.

To hell with Yoshinoya and Panda Express and the like. We need a Pei Wei errrrrrwhere. All of the other spots can just delete themselves. Fresh, made to order Asian fusion«fast food» with options that you’d find at a regular sit-down restaurant. That’s one of the reasons I like this place: it’s fast food with elements of a full service restaurant. The best of both worlds. The wonton soup broth is so very full of flavor, not bland at all. The edamame is super hot and salty. And those chicken lettuce wraps are my world, Unilocal… packed full of crunchy water chestnuts, crunchy noodles, juicy mushrooms and boom-pow soy sauce flavor… I’m talking everything you have ever wanted out of life. Step your game up, fast food. Me love you, Pei Wei

we went in for a quick bite with the kiddos. The egg rolls came out first and were dripping with grease. I rolled mine in a napkin to try and absorb for the most part, no such luck, bit into the egg roll and grease poured out. Needless to say we did not eat them. Then our food came out, my kids got the honey chicken which was pretty good, my kung pao chicken was ok and my husband ordered the brocolli and ginger beef. It tasted like it was just recooked from yesterday’s batch and doused in sauce. My husband never sends food back but he did this time and asked for a new batch, same thing. One bite and he was finished with his meal. Will not go back.

It was pretty quiet for lunchtime when I went in, but it still felt crowded. Food was so so. I got some Thai Siracha thing that was supposed to be spicy, but wasn’t at all. I did not see any Siracha to add either /you would think they would have that here. All in all, not impressed.

Good food. I always order the original lettuce wraps or the tofu with mixed veggies. The noodles are super greasy and unappetizing, wontons and edamame are super delicious. Staff could be a little more courteous. It’s a good Asian fix.

A year ago the food and service was okay. Present day food and service is some of the worst out there! The place was dirty and it just tasted like leftovers someone in the kitchen saved from their previous nights dinner from chef chans. Not exactly sure what happened but once they started changing the menu a year or so ago it was clearly the beginning of the end for this already mediocre eating establishment. Sad.

They were pretty slammed for a Sunday but they moved everything smoothly. The busser got a little behind but he was working by himself. The food came out fast and hot. I asked for extra spicy and there was zero spice to it. Staff was courteous and pleasant.

They actually brought out my Thai dynamite with hard not fully cooked rice noodles! Disgrace for an Asian restaurant!

We travel almost every weekend between Houston and Dallas. We have stopped for dinner here before and it has been fine. This evening it was DISGUSTING! It was busy and it took over an hour to get our first dish. We ordered lo mein and the noodles were disgusting. They we so old and mushy, they stuck together. We told the server we could not eat them. 20 minutes later our«fried rice» came out. It was ½ white & lumpy! I asked to speak to the manager as this was not worth the wait not to mention the money. She would not come out and speak to us. We left the food on the table untouched. The bus boy asked us if we had ever been there during high volume. He said never come here during high volume time. Disgusting! We will now go find another Resturant to eat at.

If I could just not give a star at all, it would be a far more appropriate rating — and not just because we walked away before we could even give an order, but because of the awful, sour, couldn’t care less attitude of the counter staff. The place was overwhelmed at 7:45 on a Sunday night — largely due to inadequate staffing and aforementioned apathy of those that were working, evidently. There was a line of at least 5 angry customers waiting for their take-out orders, all of which were over 10 minutes late with no estimation of when their food might actually come out. One justifiably upset customer complained to the young man at the counter — the employee’s response? To stare blankly at the customer and say«Yeah. We’re busy.» Didn’t go over well. We got to the dine-in counter(angry customer was still reaming the take out guy). The cashier sighed and rolled her eyes when we said we’d like to order take-out. She said, «Yeah, it’ll be, like, a 40 minute wait,» and then just stared at us. We praised her for her charming, pleasant attitude and walked away… with another angry would-be customer storming out after us. FAIL, Pei Wei. Not even ‘Nice try’ — just fail.

I have eaten at Pei Wei’s in many cities and several in the Houston area. This one in Shenandoah was the first location I have visited where I have been so disappointed that I’ll not go back. I ordered Beef Pad Thai. There were 2 small slices of beef and the rest was tofu. I sent it back and they said it was the right order, with the statement to me of «there beef in there correct». Nice. Thanks. Normally, pad thai is a complex dish of many flavors – this one had one flavor. Salty. There was no detectable ginger, lime, chili, or pepper flavor. I suppose with ¾ cup of tofu in the bowl it was hard to have any other flavor. Next time I’m going to save my money and just go to Panda Express which doesn’t pretend to be anything else.

I came here one evening just driving by town and normally my experience with Pei-Wei is tolerable. Most pan-asian fusion restaurants annoy me. However, despite the food, which was edible and decent, the service was terrible. In my to-go, they forgot my soup and any type of utensils. So good thing I checked my order when I got into my car before driving off. When I walked back in, it took my soup about 15 mins to cook. The cashier seemed to be arguing with the kitchen to make my soup, at this point, I felt bad and almost wanted to tell her never mind. Im glad this location isnt in my hometown.

What do you get when you mix asian fusion with fast food? You will have to visit this establishment to see for yourself. Good– The Mongolian Beef, with mushrooms and scallions is where it’s at! I am not ashamed to admit, but it’s the only thing I really go there for, along with a side of spring rolls. I am sure that they have many other tasty treats, but we don’t go here often enough for me to want anything else. This dish is consistently good and I have tried duplicating it at home, but I don’t think I get my pans hot enough — quick enough to get the proper searing of the beef. The portions are so large, you can share them with a friend or take them home for lunch the next day. I like places where a twofer is guaranteed. Bad– Don’t go in there expecting it to be cheap food. It’s expensive fast food, but definitely better than most scary Asian buffets where you are wondering what’s really in the dish. I do wonder how much sodium is used in Pei Wei’s sauces. I say this because my rings are always difficult to get off after eating here. This may be a concern for some people who are trying to manage their nutrition better. You may have them go easy or on the side with the sauces and stick with the brown rice. They get super slammed at lunch and early evening, but you usually don’t have to wait too long. Ugly– Nothing to report. I love sneaking in there when visiting the Woodlands. It’s quick and yummy. Perfect for a busy week night. It’s an occasional treat as I am not sure it’s that great for us.

This Pei Wei is filthy. It feels so run down and nasty. The lemons are rotten. It smells like mold/mildew at the drink station. The Kuykendahl location is waaaay better.
