Came back to try Buca after many years of just not getting around to it. Service was great and timing was very good. The Chicken Canneloni was weird, like mushed up chicken inside. The shrimp pasta dish was surprisingly good and filled with big shrimp. Appetizers tasted like most other restaurant fried appetizers. We ordered the tiramisu for dessert and it was the best I have ever had — but I don’t like traditional tiramisu. This one had barely a flavor of coffee and lots of creamy sweet mascarpone — perfect for me. I will take my family back soon.

Service was okay. Not so bad not so good type of service but the linguine Frutti Di marre was soo yummy. We also had the Chicken carbonara with Cavatappi pasta (twisted macaroni type pasta) that’s was good. Also I love the Apple Gorgonzola salad minus the Gorgonzola cheese. Overall I would be back since I get special offers $ 15 off $ 30 or more via email.

Our family’s favorite! The 3 things that too any other restaurants is their: margarita pizza, apple Gorgonzola salad (not a gorgonzola fan, we sub for mozzarella) & their cheesecake (literally the BEST, a close second is Double Eagle steak house)

I rate my dinner 2 stars. I ordered the pepperoni pizza small to split and the small apple gonzola salad.
Pizza is super greasy! Even if you pay it down with napkins– it’s still greasy!
Salad was Amazing! This place always offer coupons in the mail!

Disappointed with the food. Spicy Chicken Rigatoni is like it came from a frozen dinner. Waitstaff serves the food that is prepared in the kitchen, they have no control over that. Waitstaff does have control over the service and it’s not very good. The server agreed that the Spicy Chicken Rigatoni is not very good. I might give this place a chance again. The Kendall Jackson Chardonnay was great! The wife enjoyed the peach Bellini.

Worst service ever!!! Took forever for food to arrive in general and when it did arrive, meats arrived without the pasta. We were told kitchen was backed up because of a big party. So why bring half the dinner out??? Manager came and apologized, and said they were coming new meatballs for the spaghetti. Said it would be 10 minutes, then 2 minutes later they arrive. Cut into the meatball and it’s pretty much raw! Told waitress and manager who took them back and re cooked. Offered us free dessert. But the point is, don’t bring out half the meal with some still missing especially if it’s family style and the meats and pasta go together. By the time we started eating the meats it was already cold … Then took over 30 minutes to get the check to be able to pay for the horrible service.

GF pasta is horrible. Not even al dente… Like crunchy!
Sadly I was the only one GF in a larger party, banquet style. Even thought my food was ordered 8 hours prior to the party I didn’t receive any part of my meal until after all others in the party had finished their food. GF pasta was sent back 2x. Both managers were not concerned. One guy manager even stated that he wasn’t worried about it. The female manage that brought me my dish the 2^nd time said GF pasta doesn’t get any softer. I’ve been cooking it at my home for years and it can be just like «normal» pasta.
Very disappointed.
Our server, P.H. was very kind and tried to make it right, not his fault as he doesn’t cook!

This was my first time at this location and my first time in a Buca’s in 2 years. Not because there was anything wrong with Buca’s, but because where I lived we were not lucky enough to have one.
Our waiter was attentive and helpful with food suggestions. I had the baked rigatoni and veal parmigiana. Both were delicious and delivered quicker than I expected.
Will definitely be back.

Sitting one hour inside of the restaurant, ordered their special $ 40 for 4 people (we can choose large salad and large entrée) and extra appetizer. It took 20 minutes to get our garlic bread and Caesar salad. 40 minutes wait still no food. Oh 5 minutes before that the waitstaff came and said he forgot to turn in appetizer order. Wait another 15 minutes to ask him to pack everything we ordered and still the entrée still not coming. Disappointed.

Always a nice time is had at this solid place. The family style servings are ample and the staff is super friendly. Once you find that perfect dish for your family you’ll have a hard time trying anything else. Very consistent and worth a solid spot in anyone’s restaurant rotation.
Affordable and good I advise you try it. You can certainly find fancier fare, but for a consistently good meal in a nice environment you can’t go wrong.

Wow what a great time we had. It was wonderful to see the manager walking around with a paint brush touching up the walls. We went for lunch and enjoy everything. Dessert was delicious, as well as the coffee. What a relief the coffee was hot and fresh, unlike so many other places. The Alfredo sauce set a new standard for me for creamy richness and the taste of Parmesan coming through. Dinner is family style, in case you were not aware, but lunch is lunch size portions.

Great wait service, lots of energy and always smiling.
I was especially impressed on this visit because the item I wanted (gnocchi) was no longer on their menu. However, they still put a plate together for me… Lots of meat sauce and the largest meatball I have ever seen. Very customer oriented restaurant.
Salad is not included with dinner, one of the very few things about this place that bugs me. But the dishes are so large that maybe not having a salad is a good thing.
No Dessert tonight, way to much food for dinner.
All and all, this was a great visit.

Been here before, and usually a good place for a family/group dinner, but prices have gone up for several of the main entrees since our last visit, and food quality/preparation has gone down. Pasta was ok, but not great and not in line with higher prices. Maybe a chef or ownership change at this location.
Good and friendly table service, but we got there at shift change and there was no one at front desk. We had to call for someone and it took longer to get seated than it should it have — when there was no one else waiting to be seated.

I have eaten at Buca di Beppo many times and I’ve always enjoyed their food. Generous portions of amazing Italian cuisine that never lacks in flavor.
I would like to complement their kitchen, I have never had any less than great food there. (The cheesy garlic bread and apple Gorgonzola salad are a must have.)
The service is hit or miss depending on how busy it is. I recommend going elsewhere on any holiday unless you would like your entrees before your salad or bread, don’t mind waiting for refills, and don’t mind bussing your own silverware.
Also, depending on where you are seated, you may be in a room with «that guy», you know the one, that you hear over everyone else, and makes everyone talk louder just to compensate. I pulled out a decibel meter just to check, and the room we were in rated as loud as a blender!
So in short, go on a weekday, not when it’s busy.

Went there for a birthday party with about 8 people. We reserved the Pope room, which is really cool if you have a big group.
This place is really perfect for large get-togethers since all of the food is a la carte and comes in gigantic portions meant for sharing. And my goodness is the food good. It’s like the Italian grandmother you always wish you had cooking for all of you and your friends.
This go-round, we had the garlic bread, gnocchi, chicken saltambocca, and lasagna. Everything was excellent. Wine was very reasonably priced… $ 35 for a 1.5L of their house chianti, which was quite good. We ended the meal with coffees and a glass of sambuca. A really great environment with really great food. What’s not to like?

Awful service. Had reservations for 6 ½ people. Had to wait 30 min to be seated. Then they seated at a table for 5 which was too small. Asked to have a table and they re-sat us a booth that was for 4. Obviously smaller! I spoke to the manager on the floor and he was not effective. We saw empty tables they he said were reserved. I mentioned to him that I too had a reservation and they should seat us. Service is very poor and we felt that they did not value us as customers. We left to eat at another restaurant. With such poor service I cannot imagine patronizing Buca in The Woodlands again.
Additionally, The host was young and inexperienced. Obviously management is weak and their training program is non existent.

This place is just awesome. It had quickly become my favorite restaurant.
The portions are huge and the food is so awesome! Very authentic Italian food.
Also the ambiance and old Italian memorabilia is to cool and gives this place a touch of uniqueness that I haven’t seen before.
Highly recommend this place to everyone!
