Walmart

I go there cause I have to but the employees are not helpful. Lines are always long. Seems like they are always trying to stock the isles instead of helping customers. Literally no employees know where anything is. I like myself a target and hope shelton gets one soon.

I started to notice that Walmart employees are now hanging out in the parking lot, smoking cigs. I can’t imagine that the parking lot is a step up from the employee lounge. They sure do make themselves at home using our cars as chairs and ottomans. Thanks for all the scuff marks from the buckles and shoes.

The guy who sits for hours smoking at the bus stop outside the property has more consideration for other peoples property than you or your so called managers. I can’t imagine having extra people loitering in the parking lot smoking and joking is good for Walmart, but I didn’t go to Walmart management school.

If you are an online shopper like I am you not only save the hassles, but you can also pick-​up at the store, especially groceries. I’m spoiled because I used to live near a Walmart that had a full produce section and this Walmart is barely adequate. Walmart will pay you 7.5% cashback to get you to go online, which is why I’m sad they do not have a full grocery section, but it is adequate for frozen, dried, and canned goods.

Unilocal will probably hide this review as they’ve recently done when I’ve given negative feedback on a restaurant, It seems that Unilocal works only for the benefit of the business owners and not for the customers. After saying that, I can say that the Walmart in Shelton, Ct. has degenerated so much in the past couple of years that I have to write a review. I live close to Walmart, so it’s convenient. But today I decided to try a few items of clothing on. The women’s dressing rooms were so filthy dirty with sand, dust, dirt, you name it plus quite a few large dark gray dusty dirt balls just sitting there along the sides of the stall. I would never consider taking off my shoes there. It’s awful and I’d never take my mother or children in there to change. I complained to the woman working that department then when I got home called the ‘front end’ manager Jennifer. She was very unconcerned as though she’s heard it many times before. I also sent an email to Walmart headquarters. In the future, when I want to try on some clothes to buy, I’ll drive the extra miles to Target or right down the street to either TJMaxx or Dress Barn. We still have choices Walmart! Take note.

People alway say that this Shelton walmart is dirty and creepy but it is the closest to home and i seldom go to another Wal-​mart. Its the only one i really go to so its hard for me to compare but it has alot of everything. They didnt have a spot light to shine on my xmas wreath though

What can I say — it’s Wal-​Mart. It is not the finest example of this common store, but it is reasonably clean and well-​maintained. Most of the staff are long-​term, indicating that this place must be better to their workers than most. Selection is decent, and the new refrigerated food section is quite nice.
Overall, a reasonable choice if you’re in Shelton. But certainly not worth going out of your way for.
