ive passed by here many times on my way to visit family but stopped in today with my daghter to get our grandma a gift after being hospitalized. if you have children, do not come here. the owner approached us after browsing maybe 2 minutes and wthout even a greeting eyeballs my daughter saying ‘we have a lot of glassware here’ then says ‘maybe she needs to hold something’. leaves and returns with a creepy stuffed animal scaring my daughter. i shouldve left then but Annsley(daughter) insisted on finding something for gandma which we ended up doing wihout incident. if you want people to shop at your store do not make them feel uwelcome! if you dont want children in your store, put up a sign! as a small business owner myself i always try to support other small businesses but i will never stop here again.

This store has a reputation in Shelton for being way overpriced. I was driving by to visit a friend and thought I would give it a chance. I was shocked at how marked up ALL the items were. One item that caught my attention was a «Walker Boot Repair» sign hanging in the back. This sign was priced at 69.95. I purchased the same sign in Ross for a friend for 15.00! I referred a girlfriend to the store for a specialty item and the owner laughed in her face when she tried to negotiate the outragous asking price. The owner must think they have solid gold in this store but it looks like an eposide of Horders in the making. The prices reflect someone who doesn’t want to sell. I believe they are targeting the summer vacationer going to there home on the Island but NEWSFLASH it’s Harstine not Bainbridge.

I am amazed that this fabulous shop makes it’s home in kind of an out of the way place. Don’t be fooled by the outside of the shop. It may not look big, BUT it’s huge on the inside and the owner specializes in quality goods. I have traveled around the world but have never seen a shop quite like this one. Yes, it is just loaded with great stuff. Antiques, quality used clothing, great shoes and jeans, stuff even for men, and some vintage things as well. Plan on spending some time there if you like to browse. I was blown away the first time I went. Just LOVE to go there and see all the really great things!

Interesting little store filled to the brim with all kinds of items. This is going to be of interest to mostly females as there are antiques, mostly women’s clothing and lots of knick knacks, etc. The owner is friendly and helpful and seems to know where everything is, however, there is stuff everywhere so just walking through is the best way to find items of interest. It is close quarters and you must walk carefully so as not to run into items, etc., this place is not for someone who has trouble getting around as there are tight aisle ways and potential breakables everywhere you turn. We took our time looking through the items, however, the YS was not as interested as I was. I didn’t find anything I couldn’t live with out on this day but I would stop back by again. The price points are high. Used Coach bags vary from $ 90 to $ 200, etc. Most shoes in the place were marked $ 70 and the YS found some Hawaiian shirts priced at $ 60. A little pricey but I think this place is geared for people that are not afraid to part with a buck or two. Stop in and take a peek, it’s an interesting place.
