I’m not a big coffee drinker, more of a tea girl. I decided on a chai tea & asked if they could make it iced. They asked if I would like it frozen. It was heaven in a cup. BETTERTHANSTARBUCKS! Everyone was friendly that worked there & the bookstore.

Quite a Gem downtown Shelbyville on the circle. Attached to a nostalgic bookstore, the food is all made in front of you fresh and they have many options for coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos & many frozen varieties also. My wife had the Turkey Pesto Panini and I had the Tuna Salad Croissant. Both very fresh and delicious. Very friendly ladies run the place and we received good service. They have free Wi-Fi with the password posted on a place card on various tables. You can feel like one of the regulars and sit at the counter(even comfortable for a big guy like me) or they have various diner and higher pub tables plus a relaxing area with leather lounge chairs. We had a late lunch today, next time I want to get there in the morning for some breakfast items(many to choose from). See the picture of the menu someone else included with the pictures. I especially noticed the sweet ladies will leave you alone or engage conversation as much or little as you would like(I like that). All in all a relaxing, laid back, no-drama small town bistro. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Best coffees and lattes in town. Very comfortable atmosphere. The Sugar Daddy latte is really good

This small tucked away in a corner, on the circle in Shelbyville, place is not only a coffee shop but also makes fresh to order deli sandwiches and has a nice menu with lots of healthy options. I had the turkey and bacon panini and the ham panini. The food was large portioned, tasted great, and was made fresh in front of me by one of the owners. They have free wi-fi and they also operate the attached bookstore business beside this coffee shop /deli. The area is very clean, organized, relaxing, and just a nice place to spend some time. And is a better alternative than going to a Starbucks. The ladies are friendly and nice to chat with while making your sandwich or drink. Give them a try!

First time I have ever stopped in here and I have to say my first impression is that I just found a great lunch spot when I’m in Shelbyville for work. Service was kind and pleasant. You could tell they know their regulars well and enjoy talking with them. I ordered a half spinach/pesto turkey panini and a hot tea. I was presented with options for tea and they had a great variety. They also offer both full sized and half options for sandwiches which I liked a lot. The sandwich was perfect and I’ll definitely be coming back again!

This is a quaint and cozy place to relax, read a book, visit, and enjoy great coffee. You get that«everybody knows your name» feel that is lacking in corporate chain coffee shops. The quality is top notch and the service and atmosphere put it over the top!
