Rule of thumb: throw a rock and hit a Mexican or Chinese restaurant. Yes, they are everywhere because these are the food genres that American palates like.
I have not been to El Alcapulco for many years. This past year I’ve really seen the parking lot start to fill up in evenings and started to get curious. Last week I got an invite to dine. The place was packed.
The usual chips and salsa. Frosty mugs of Dos Equis drafts. Reasonable prices. Fast service even when it’s busy. I ordered the Chile Colorado. Although the beef was not soft, like stew meat, the sauce was very good. I imagine they don’t sell much of this dish, so instead of cooking all day they grilled and cubed a steak then put in in the sauce. Still good, but not what I was expecting.
Decent place to bring the family for an inexpensive better than average meal!

The salsa doesn’t have too much cilantro and just enough heat so even the kids can handle it. The chips were fresh and crisp and warm and the bean dip actually he decent proportions of cheese and beans.
The chicken in the burrito and enchilada were seasoned slightly and had just enough heat.
The beef isn’t to salty and wasn’t seasoned like we do with the seasoning packets at home. Finally, service was admirable and friendly considering how busy they were.

Excellent and fresh food … Staff is very polite and attentive. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the amount the food they give you. May want to bring your sunglasses, the interior design is a little on the Bright side… lol… But overall, great experience. And certainly would got back again if in the area.

LOVE this place. It’s my go to place for Mexican. Everything is on point and affordable. The waiters and so friendly and prompt. When anyone notices our chips getting low, boom! Someone gives us more. They seem to work like a team to make sure the customer is never kept waiting. The food is always hot and flavorful. I have noooo complaints at all which is surprising for me because I’m sooo picky. So if you’re anything like me you’ll love this place!

This place is inexpensive and has very good food. The staff is attentive and friendly. Good Mexican food. The seating i spectacularly fancy! I want one of those chairs. Come on in and try it.
