Good family place, has full Greek menu including, pastitsio, mousaka. Spinach pie was very goid. Kids fish and chips had battered fish filet. Asked for vegetables instead of fries for the side, and they included onions. What kid wants onions? Our server was doubtful if they could give a vegtable instead of fries, but said she would check. My parents have been dining here for a while and I always turned my nose up. They invited us for dinner one day and my husband and I were impressed. I’ve spoken highly and recommended this place to plenty of friends. Food is pretty good however their service is not the best. Their zucchini bread in their bread basket is out of this world but they are stingy with it and won’t give you seconds. The past two times we’ve dined here we’ve had the same waitress who is not friendly, slow, and acts like it is a bother to get you something. My husband ordered pizza this evening and it was dry and their was no cheese in the middle of the pizza, just along the edges. The last few times the food and service have been hit or miss. This place has a lot of potential and Benny has done a great job but some of the waitstaff needs to go.

The breakfast menu is only one page with one side. So I order the veggie omelet with asparagus which I love whole wheat and hash browns well done. We will see if it’s good! There are only eight customers in the place. The omelet yellow squash and zucchini not bad I would give it a 3 out of 5. Not great service. Not likely to come back.

Worst service ever they have this waitress who clings on from the old place. She wreaks of smoke and try’s to be your bud! The food is ok but this is not the only bad server. The service is F minus stay away

Had an excellent dining experience. The service was fantastic and the food was amazing and way better than expected. The prices are reasonable. My group didn’t fit into the elderly crowd on a Tuesday night but nonetheless I will be back soon for the food. Katlyn was our server and very attentive and friendly.

Wow! What a great meal. Had the Bay of Fundi Salmon Salad on the specials menu. Doesn’t get any fresher or better than this. Do not be afraid of the wasabi dressing… it’s mild and has wonderful flavor. I ordered dressing on the side since watching my diet and also a bit concerned might be too spicy, it wasn’t.it was flavorful & perfect with the beautiful large serving of warm salmon. Had a house Chardonay. Whole meal was a nothing short of Fab. Thank you Benny!

I was a regular customer, until I heard screaming and yelling about our favorite server. The owner and his son .were in the office. He telling him she is one of our best severs. Benny I do not care. He was calling her filthy names. I told marcy. That if I was no longer working there. They will never come back. And I will let all my friends not to either.

Very average to poor, missing a lot of items on the menu, I would not return. Our waitress was very good and nice. Everything else, especially food wise, was not good. I felt compelled to write the review, because the reviews that I read before coming here we’re not at all a representation of our experience. I felt it was not worth the money or the time spent.

Benny, Benny, really? A sign saying no entertainment coupons honored? The 2015 book just came out. Food was quite decent. Split something called potato cups and French toast with sausage. Pre game football on a tv that only had bottom half of screen working. Why not just turn it off. Drove quite a way because of coupon you would not honor. Lost a future customer over $ 61 and done with bennys

My son and I went for dinner before a scout meeting. When we walked in, we were greeted immediately, and I let them know that we were due at the meeting in about 40 minutes. The hostess said that would not be a problem and sent the server over straightaway. While I was waiting the 30 seconds for the server to arrive, I noticed that the dining room was only about 25% full, mostly seniors. There are 5 flat screens hanging on the walls, 4 of which were visible from my seat. All of them were showing channel 7. The dining room was clearly nearly brand new and very clean, almost sterile. I would like to see more character; it feels a bit like being in a 3 star hotel chain lobby. Not a bad thing, per se… Our server was very attentive, and the kitchen was quick. We ordered, and had our food within 15 minutes. I had the cabbage soup to start. It was hot, and a bit salty, but definitely homemade. For an entrée I had the sautéed lake perch dinner with the veggies. Excellent fare! The tartar sauce was creamy and mild, but with good flavor. My son’s chicken strips and fries were cooked just right. The chicken was obviously fresh. In fact, all of the food was obviously fresh(not frozen) and tasted great! Benny’s is also a banquet hall, so they do have a liquor license, but I didn’t pay much attention to the beer/wine list. I only noticed that they had one. Return visits are in order. P. S. we made it to the meeting with about a minute to spare. :)

We had a very nice meal tonight at Benny’s. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Our waitress Karissa(sorry bad with names) was very attentive and took care of us perfectly! The décor was not much of a change from the previous owners, the interior looked the same to me. Even had the same pictures on the wall. I ordered the lamb chops that were very nicely seasoned and prepared perfectly. A tad bit small for the price($ 25). However, the star of the plate was the sautéed spinach with tomatoes and feta cheese. Great side dish to the chops. My wife ordered a bowl of french onion soup and fish sandwich with fries. The soup was very dark brown, almost black. It had a nice flavor, but was a bit over salted and hard to finish. The sandwich was good but nothing special. Overall a nice place to grab a fast bite to eat, at a reasonable price. Everything was fresh and handmade! Not something you will find in most restaurants. Note: they have a full bar! That they need to advertise! Hint– hint.

The atmosphere is upscale. The calimari was delicious. Sirloin tips over rice was super tender. Waitstaff was professional. Thoroughly enjoyed this place!

Benny’s is a really nice restaurant in the family dining/Coney class. They rebuilt a few months ago after a fire, and the interior is very well-done. They cook a lot of the food from scratch(rather than buying it in frozen from Gordon’s), including the soups, all the Greek dishes, and their bread, which has just a touch of herbs in it. They’ve got a lot a variety, including a substantial small plates menu. It isn’t gourmet, but within its segment, it’s surprisingly good. Definitely worth trying.
