Go Big Skill Toys

This is a great little local toy shop that is family run and has a wide selection of affordable toys, with a lot of them you won’t find at those big box stores. It specializes in «skill» toys like yo-​yos and kendamas. In fact, the couple that runs this place has a son who is a championship level yo-​yo competitor and they show youtube videos of him in the store (BTW, his yo-​yo tricks are amazing). When I was there on Small Business Saturday, there was also a local yo-​yo club that was meeting there to share some tricks with each other, so there’s opportunities here to learn a little more than «walking the dog».
If you go through all the aisles, you find stuff for all ages that make you want to build, play, learn, and have fun. There are animal/​zombie ball poppers, a wall of legos, hexbugs, electronic circuit kits, puppets, puzzles, classic toys like rubiks cubes, kites, hula hoops, etc. I know that once you come here, see the products here, and meet the people running this place, you will want to shop here for your kid’s toys too.

Excellent toy store big variety of toys and skill items. They have a lot of old school toys. definitely suggest to any parent. looking to get there kids away from some of the electronic toys as much.
