The delivery time is acceptable and the deliverer was very courteous. We liked the boneless spare ribs, but not so much on the other dishes. The curry chicken didn’t have that much of a curry taste and a few of the bites were off putting. I can’t really describe the taste. The orange chicken was better. The flavor was there but all the sauce made the coating soggy. We ordered both dishes spicy and it didn’t hit the mark on that. Maybe it was an off night. We’ll give them another go sometime.

The best chinese restaurant in Kansas City period. Authentic chinese food. We have been a customer of theirs since day one…18 plus years and counting. You will thank me for turning you on to this place. Worth the drive!!!

This place makes my nipples hard! Very good food! Highly recommend! I like ordering plain white rice sometimes. Just plain white rice. Maybe a prune or two also.

Great value and i thougt the food was really good.(i got sea food lo mein and my fiancée got the kung pao). The drink options are bad and the restaurant was crazy hot inside. I would recommend probably calling in an order and taking it home. But it was overall a good experience. I wish i had brought cash. Its obviously a family business. A teen girl and her brother were running the counter. I would have liked to give to them. Seem like sweet kids. Four stars for the drinks and the heat for dining in.

I ordered General Tso’s chicken, extra spicy, extra broccoli, what I got was not Generals Tso’s chicken, at least not my definition of it, and what ever it was it certainly was not spicy. They should be ashamed to call the stuff they serve chicken. It’s dough balls with essence of chicken flavor. There something mixed in the dough balls that might be meat of some kind, but it is so tough, jerky like stuff that makes the dough balls inedible. When I bit into one and realized it was a hunk of chicken skin, had to spit it out, and threw away the rest of the stuff. The only good part of the meal was the rice and fortune cookies, but $ 11.43 is a lot to pay for rice and fortune cookies. Live and learn, then go throw up what little I did eat.

Got general tso’s chicken lunch special. The price is right on the food and crab Rangoon is good. Chicken was a strange. Was not white meat like other Chinese places. Fried rice was ok. They offer the lunch special with chicken fried rice but I got it with no chicken. Got order to go and once I got to work I figured out I didn’t have a fork or napkins. Fortune Cookie was really hard. I would not eat there again.

The best of the options I’ve tried since moving to Shawnee, but not as good as the place I went to in Olathe so I can’t give it 5 stars. Food is tasty, service(at least take out) is always prompt and courteous.

I met a friend for lunch here and all things considered. Good menu selection, ample portions and nice server. One suggestion would be bottled water and ice tea. I’m not a big fan of canned sodas.

Very nice. Fast. Good value. Not sure on the negative reviews. They have always been friendly to me. They are open til 10 which is late for this area and have some great daily specials.

OMG! In looking for this address I discovered there are TWO China Kings! Is it possible that Johnson Countians have lost all sense of taste and smell? That’s the only thing that can account for two locations staying in business. Everyone knows that carry-out Chinese restaurants are cheap, and you’re lucky if you get what you pay for. But seriously, La Choy would be embarrassed to serve this stuff. Whatever you do, don’t put a napkin or any other absorbent material near your food. It might accidentally soak up some of the grease, which is the only thing that makes this stuff go down.
