Here on vacation and thought I’d give this place a shot. The pizza was really good and you get a lot! I could only eat 3 slices. I like trying new places, especially if they’re not a chain. It took awhile to cook and the girl said they messed up our first pizza, but they upgraded us to a bigger pizza which was cool. The pizza was really good, and I’d go there again. They have an arcade to play in while you wait. Seating is a little tight, so if it’s busy, it’s better to take it home. Overall, I’d recommend this place to anyone!

Where they lack in size and speed, they make up for it with their great food and fancy new soda machine vanilla root beer for the win also the calzone is delicious.

First time here, stopped on our way home from camping at Shaver Lake. Pizza is amazing, crust is perfect. They forgot to put buffalo sauce on the buffalo chicken supreme, and after very poor customer service with that, the manager did come over and made sure everything was right and apologized, which was the first apology they gave for the mistake. The other employees could use some customer service training though — it was handled pretty terribly. Kudos to the manager for making it right in the end. Will definitely be back, some of the best pizza my family has had. Would have given 5 stars for the pizza, but customer service warranted 4 stars.

The actual pizza is very good. Space inside is cramped but ok. Service stinks. The employees don’t care, don’t smile, seems like they would rather be doing something else than helping customers.

The pizza was okay, definitely not bad, not great, but good. I found the crust to be bland. I’ll return one day I’m sure.

This place has some of the best pizza there is! It is always hot and fresh and the crust is fantastic. Today we had the California and a Combination pizza. Combination was full of toppings and just enough sauce, everyone killed that one. However, as good as the combo was, the California is my new favorite. This pizza is olive oil, mozzarella, spinach, bacon, and tomatoes. It was nice and light and had a fantastic crunch to it. I wanted to eat the whole thing myself but my tummy cut me off. My family, who typically would not go for that, attacked it and loved it. I also love that they now have Riley Brewing’s Hard Root Beer and a great supply of beers. The only thing that is kind of a bummer is the lack of parking and lack of seating. We are lucky we got there just in time today and missed the crowd, which showed up about 20 minutes after we got there. As the weather gets better, they will be packed. Also, they are a little pricey but totally worth it. For anyone heading up 168 or just looking for a great pizza– make your way up to Shaver Lake Pizza.

Best pizza around. I look forward to coming here when ever I’m in the area camping. It gets busy but well worth the wait. I love their small personal size cheese pizza. The cheese is awesome and the crust is to die for. Love it, love it, love it!!!

Pizza is tasty! But the SERVICEISTERRIBLE! The manager megan was VERY rude and uninviting after my family spent a large amount of food at their restaurant. Save your money and try somewhere else!

Love the pizza here. Better than anything else on the mountain if you want pizza! Prices are reasonable for the area. I will definitely come back and try different toppings but after a long hunting trip this place sure did hit the spot.

The pizza was good, the price was decent for a med pizza… the people and customer service sucked balls! They have a huge starting problem especially if your not around there. Its extreamly tiny and there isn’t much space to sit.

Great pizza chill atmosphere we had a great experience with our two little ones. Pizza was better than a what we get in Paso Robles. The pizza was good, we are Chicagoans so picky about our pizza.

Piss poor customer service. Who knows… maybe they treat locals with more regard(hopefully). We were staying in shaver over a long holiday weekend and came in probably fifteen minutes before closing. Before even being greeted we were told«you can onlyget takeout». Okay… no biggie. There was a party of eight or nine middle age adults, fresh from skiing it seemed, still enjoying their pizza and beer, laughing and having a good time. There was no thank you after ordering. I asked one of the employees a general question about shaver lake and she just lamely shrugged her shoulders, didn’t say a word, and walked away. A few minutes passed and the larger party got up and left after which this same female employee loudly said«finally they’re gone! They were so annoying and loud» As far as the pizza itself, i would give it 3.5 stars. Good crust. good toppings. Rolled, partially stuffed crust. Sauce a little bland though. Sure…it is one of the few eating establishments in town so they are kind of working that monopoly angle but they should have better customer service. Won’t be stopping here again. Check out the old trappers bar and grill, now called pub and grub for good drinks, good service, and good pub food instead.

Really good mountain pizza~ Be prepared for kids working the register and that overwhelming sensation that comes with amateurs at the helm of your dinner delivery, tho~

Went for a relaxing weekend recently at Shaver Lake and this place was highly recommended for some good casual grub. Ordered a couple pitchers of beer, a few pies and hot chicken wings. Definitely hit the spot and fueled us for a long time. Pleasantly surprise how good the pizza was. Hot, gooey cheese and fresh toppings. The dough was thick and chewy with a slighy crisp crust. Loved the pepperoni and the hawaiian style. The veggie pizza was tasty as well. If you come up to Shaver Lake, this is a definite must stop if you love pizza and a cold brew. A nice local feel with friendly people and service.

Very good pizza just the right amount of toppings and the crust was more on the thin side, which I really like small place gets very busy call your order in ahead of time.

Excellent pizza with a cheese filled crust and some creative ingredient combinations. We had 18 people in our camp sight at Edison Campground at Shaver Lake and ordered takeout for our last night. For a tourist area, we were not expecting amazing pizza but this place really makes a great pie.

Used to be great, now not so much… the toppings were not even connected to the crust. Edit: Got a large pepperoni and crumbled bacon pizza this time around. The toppings were connected thankfully! Tasted better too. The service although was crappy. walked in while the entire staff(3 people) was sweeping. Guy behind the counter just kept sweeping away knowing we were standing there. Was a good couple minutes before anyone even approached the counter.

We stopped in to Shaver Lake Pizza for lunch. Initially I was not impressed, we stood at the counter waiting to order while the gal made a pizza and then answered the phone and took an order, it seemed odd that live people were placed lower in the queue than the other two tasks. As we waited it became clear this was a one person operation, they had to take orders, answer phones and make the pizzas so we cut the gal some slack. We finally ordered, I got a personal pan pizza with sausage and the wife got pizza bread with mushrooms and pineapple. We both ordered our meals as lunch specials which came with a drink and were about $ 6, not a bad deal. My pizza was pretty tasty, good sausage, flavorful sauce and a nice thin crispy crust. The pizza bread was plentiful and very good.
