If this is «Paris in a tea cup“‘ then Paris is boring. The name «tea cup» implies a tea room, but they only offered ordinary black tea from a tea bag. The food was good, décor was nice, but the service was lacking, Overall, there are a lot of other places nearby that offer a more enjoyable afternoon.

Went on an invite from friends and oh were we surprised.
Magret de canard aux framboises — a delicious duck breast with side veggies all farm fresh.
Coquilles Saint-​Jacques au Whiskey, tender juicy scallops.
Price fix menu with an Hors D’Oeuvre, entrée and desert for $ 22.00 far cheaper than airfare to France.

Very good food. Prepared by the owner from scratch. Very fresh. It was like eating in a home in Paris with friends.

I felt like I was back in Paris, only this time at someone’s home. The owners are very friendly and lived in France for 25 years prior to moving back to the States. They have just started serving dinner in the last week, and I highly recommend the food.
I plan to go back for lunch as often as possible.
P. S. the desserts are all hand-​made in the kitchen. I ordered «anything chocolate» and the mousse was smooth, creamy and light. They would not serve me the pot au chocolat because they said it didn’t turn out well that night. I love that they cared enough not to serve it (because I would probably have eaten it anyway…)
