Love their ice cream!!! Had a gender reveal party here– immediate family with great grandparents to find out the gender of our baby. Manager Kyle, and staff went above and beyond making sure our ice cream sundae was a perfect surprise for myself, husband and family. They took such great care of use — we go all the time. Excellent service, kick butt ice fresh New England ice cream and even a great small farmers market on the weekends. Love this place!

I was blessed to grow up in Sharon and CRD was always the place to stop. We also used to have milk in glass containers delivered to our home too! It’s been over 30 years since I lived in Mass, and when I make a trip back I will always make a visit to CRD. 15 years ago, when my daughter was young, I took her there even though it was still winter to have a taste. Is it as good as I remember it? Not sure, I know the ice-cream is no longer made by them, but the family recipe is handled by one of the bigger dairy companies now. But the memories are worth the weight in gold! My favorite? Chocolate Chip, hot fudge sundae with whip-cream, walnuts and a cherry on top! I will be visiting Mass in a few days, and CRD is on the list of stops along with the town Spa!

Unfortunately Packaged brownies are used for brownie sundaes. But the ice cream is good. I hate how the menu screens keep switching to adds. Making it difficult to decide upon your order.

Not a happy customer. We went today and and were disappointed. The lines were outrageous. We stood there for 20 minutes and nothing moved! My kids were really frustrated and disappointed. In the past we went and the lines were slow but moved, the ice cream wasn’t that good. We wont be back!

I was a little disappointed when I went here for the first time this year and saw that they raised the price of a small ice cream to $ 5.75. The portion size may be larger than a normal small but at that rate you might as well get the small sundae for the same price. I made the mistake of getting the chocolate jimmies on my ice cream. They are not real chocolate jimmies and taste more like small pieces of plastic. Besides these 2 downfalls the ice cream is good. They offer a lot of flavors and the scenery with the cows and farm area sets them apart from other ice cream shops. Note to self for next time: don’t eat so much at dinner and get a sundae.

The best ice cream around! The portions are huge. A kiddie size is a medium at any other place. A little pricey, but the quality and taste of the ice cream is well worth it. You can taste the freshness and the creamy-ness of the ice cream! This is our go to ice cream place!

So I live in Sharon, and my friends and I have been coming to this place for years now, at first the quality was good, then it stayed good, the staff are nice, and there are outside seats, which are always nice. Just warning you, don’t get a large, tiny tot is small, kitty is medium, small is large, and large is xxxxxxxl

Location is a bit out there, but it was worth the drive. We got two frappes and they were both delicious. Friendly and prompt service.

Just like the best quality and memories of the 60’s. Never had better ice cream. We will definitely drive out of our way to enjoy this again.

Visiting from Chicago for the first time, visiting my boyfriend’s parents. The first day we arrived I was told that this was the place to go! If I had a dollar for every time someone had asked«have you visited Crescent Ridge Dairy yet», I’d be rich. Apparently everyone knows about Crescent Ridge! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to come in for a visit until our very last day of the trip, right before we started our drive to the airport. What a treat, I’m so sad that I only got 1 visit out of the trip! I stuck with the Black Raspberry frozen yogurt and OMG it was good! Loved the store atmosphere, the service was pretty great, and the staff was very friendly! We got there at a time where it wasn’t busy and shortly after we ordered the rush of people started to come in. It got pretty busy and fast! The weather was great the day of our visit and we got to enjoy our treats outside, perfection! I can totally see the appeal of this place on a perfect warm sunny day! I will definitely pay another visit when I have the chance, definitely want to try the other flavors! Looking forward to my next visit and hopefully it’ll be soon.

Oh yeah the best. Very rich eat responsibly. My favorite are Orange pineapple, black bear and black raspberry. Highly recommend this place, its open year round. They also have very good chocolate milk that they also sell through WholeFoods but its probably cheaper at Crescent Ridge. Very nice spot to eat ice cream in the summer while watching the animal graze on the grass.

YUMMY… I am not in the area, but I take the drive down because it’s worth it. It is such a happy place. Long lines, happy faces, and the best ice cream ever.

Not just a staple of summer, but a staple of my diet. Crescent Ridge is one of those places that you know will be around in thirty years and that you know your kids will love just as much as you do. Friendly service, incredible ice cream, and cows admiring their own handiwork.

Ok so this is a bit of a difficult one for me. I actually grew up in Sharon and I have very fond memories of Crescent Ridge from back in the day. Now flash forward to 2015 and I try the ice cream that I haven’t tasted in at least 10 years. Of course I have eaten some pretty delicious ice cream throughout my life(see review of Salt and Straw in Portland). When comparing Crescent Ridge against other ice cream, it just doesn’t hold its own. I got the salted caramel with chocolate pretzel and coffee Heath yogurt– both were a bit disappointing. Yes the ice cream is super smooth and sweet but when ordering the 2 flavors I was expecting a descent amount of CRUNCH. In the salted caramel there was literally no pretzel pieces and the coffee Heath significantly lacked Heath chunks. On top of the disappointing crunch in my ice cream, the price point is a little steep. Finally to the Crescent Ridge team– I think you should be able to have 2 flavors in the kiddie size. It is such a big portion and making you buy a small to get 2 flavors is not fair(plus all those extra calories!).

Newsflash: they don’t make their own ice cream! It is… Bliss Brothers! Which you can buy everywhere else in the area for 30% cheaper! I worked in an ice cream shop which served Bliss Ice Cream for years. Everytime I went to Crescent Ridge I thought, «wow, these flavors taste just like Bliss!». I did a little research, and lo and behold, they stopped making their own ice cream and now serve Bliss. I don’t have an inherent problem with this, but I feel like it is kind of a sham because they do not advertise it anywhere, and they have the whole farm thing that has everyone fooled. The prices charged do not justify the product served.

Tourist trap… icecream is nothing special service is slow. Prices are very high, staff is a bunch of teens that would rather goof off than serve you. People rave about this place they are just going along with the crowd. Icecream hasn’t been homemade there in years. It’s living on reputation. Go to Hilliards in Easton or Daddy’s dairy. Better icecream, and no wait

Between Sharon, Canton, and Stoughton lies one of the best ice cream spots in the US. Superb ice cream, milk, and other dairy products… Can get crowded, but always has more lines open than Bubbling Brook, which is a plus(yet Bubbling Brook is better in my opinion, and much closer for me(4 mins from my house!)). FYI: Its 407 Bay Road…

I have been going to crescent ridge since I was a child. If you didn’t mind the raw earthy smells of the cows peeing and pooing while you stood in the hot summer heat you were in for an amazing treat! Forty years later I am taking my son there and while the earthiness of the cows has cleaned up significantly the ice cream is even better !!! How is this possible better I don’t know but I can tell you the ice cream is still worth waiting in 95°F weather for the experience of an over filled cone dripping on your fingers and sharing in your friends nose ! You’ll love it!

Without a doubt, Crescent Ridge has some of the best ice cream, frappes, and service around! My friend and I stopped in on a windy, cold day – and it was definitely worth the trip. You know this ice cream is fantastic when it tastes spectacular on a cold winter day! Each flavor is just as delicious and flavorful as the last. We tried Coffee, Black Bear(raspberry ice cream with chocolate chips and chocolate covered raspberry truffle pieces), Coconut, and Toasted Walnut Fudge. The Coffee is absolutely perfect in flavor; our server said she loves the flavor and another patron said her husband loves it, too!(Once you taste it for yourself, you’ll understand.) The Coconut has flecks of real coconut, and the Black Bear – our server said this is the most popular flavor – was really unique and tasty with chocolate complimenting the raspberry nicely. I don’t think you can get a bad flavor of ice cream here! It’s all flavorful and perfect in creaminess and consistency. Just perfection! My friend decided to get Toasted Walnut Fudge in a waffle cone. She got a cone filled perfectly and massively with this tasty flavor. It was heavy! Each bite, she said, was full of walnuts. I got a thick Coffee frappé, and it was excellent in flavor and consistency. Thick, but still able to be sipped through a straw. Our server knew how to make a frappé! So delicious! The staff here is wicked kind and welcoming. Our servers worked really hard and made the perfect treats! The frappé was made perfectly and the waffle cone was stuffed full of deliciousness. They know what they’re doing, and are extremely friendly while doing it. I had contacted the farm’s office over the summer to see if it was open throughout the year – which it is – and I received a very pleasant and kind reply. So when you’re here, do some cow tipping in leaving something a little extra for these servers! They deserve it. The only downside of this wonderful farm is that there isn’t really any place to sit inside and enjoy your treats. It’s solely outdoor seating with picnic tables, as the inside is just a walk-up counter and cases filled with their milk, delicious ice cream quarts, pie, and other dairy products. So you have to go back to your car with the goods if it’s a cold day.(Just keep in mind the heat in the car if you have to do this since your stuff may melt – but it will still be delicious, frozen or melted!!) Crescent Ridge is definitely worth the trip – one that my friend and I will be making again(and soon) to get the best ice cream and service! This is hands down a place to check out – and now! It’s in a great location on a main road and very easy to find. While you’re there, I recommend a thick frappé with the yummy and classic coffee ice cream! Get one for me, too, please!

The ice cream is good here. We just happen to be driving by on a nice day, we saw the cows and my cousin asked if I wanted ice cream. We walked up to the outside window and asked what is the menu. The girl didn’t know that the menu was not showing on the outside. Then she said to come inside. We bought some milk too.(Note: You can buy fresh milk here to in the fridges, and return the glass bottle for $ 2 credit towards next milk purchase.) Great things: Servings are HUGE! Lots of flavors taste is delicious, it is FRESH Bonus card and return of glass bottle credit– green business Picnic tables outside in the back to enjoy your food Animals in the back outside: cows and goats for the kiddies to see *REASON for the minus stars: Not really cool customer service behavior from the teen employees: they took a photo of us and went into a circle giggling about it. NOTCOOL. I know this is probably a family owned business so the employees maybe be the family children/friends. But just a bit of hindsight on how to should treat patrons. Still loved the flavors nonetheless.
