I’m only giving this three stars because it was always our go-​to place to eat when I was younger. I went the other week for lunch, the soup tasted horrible. Barely even edible. My rice tasted like dirty dish water. My brother had gotten a piece of a brillo pad in his take out before and would never go back. This could have just been a one time bad thing, because usually my family has gotten great service here. One time can make me not want to go back though. Not sure what has happened since the original owners sold the place.

Very Tasty tofu family style. Mushu Vegetables were pretty good. Nothing out of the ordinary. Chicken corn soup was more like egg drop soup with corn kernels in it.
Atmosphere was very relaxed. Service for our three year is niece was lacking though. Pretty much ignored her by not bringing her water or giving her a bowl for our soup. Did not give her utensils either. Strange.
Over all the food was definitely above average.

Hi there my name is Tony Chiu and I’m the son of the original owners who built and opened Mandarin Inn for nearly 20 years before we and the other partners sold it to current management. I’m very pleased to see that the new owners and current management have kept the standards of te business in great shape with positive reviews on Unilocal.I wish them all the luck as the restaurant has been very good to my family’s future and life and financial stability. I have tried many Chinese restaurants from china towns in Fisco to the the ones in new york & none come close to the Mandarin Inn on freshness, taste, look, & smell! The prices are spot on what they suppose to be for this time! My favorite is vegetable fried brown rice & chicken & shrimp in garlic sauce I love my food a little spicy! Ok I love it hot & spicy!

The food is amazing. I come here on a regular basis. I either eat in the restaurant or I order take out. The service is great! My favorite meal there isthe mandarin twin delight. And for an appetizer if you eat in, I like to get the bo bo platter for two.
