Dragon Palace

Meh. That is the word the sums up this small Town buffet. It offers a lot of options for such a small place, they have a very large menu. We had the buffet and… meh. One food was better than others. The fried crab ran goons and egg rolls tasted a bit freezer burned? Not sure but they tasted… off. Overall it was ok.

The Dragon Palace in Seward, NE is a small town family Chinese restaurant with quality ingredients, quick service and a nicely ranging menu. They have a buffet at lunch time only.
Tonight I started with a half order of Crab Rangoon, which came to the table still sizzling. Though the General Tso’s is my go-​to fave, tonight I tried the shrimp, chicken, beef and vegetable combo lo mein. Nicely crisp-​tender vegetables complemented the perfectly done noodles with lots of each of the three meats as well.
My husband had the garlic chicken. It had onions, celery, carrots and bamboo shoots. He likes extra spicy food and got served red hot chili sauce on the side. The only drawback is the old building the eatery is housed in, which needs to be renovated.

Large portions, quality food, traditional meals. Always quick, great take out business. Fair prices and quiet locations. Try the Happy Family. Plenty to share for 2 in most single servings if you get a side.
