Went there on the Sunday before Christmas. I didn’t eat and my water was too wet. My kids hardly ate. My wife and mother-in-law ate a meal. I was shocked that my ticket was $ 80. I had good service but it makes me mad when they suggest your tip amounts on the bill and it starts at 15%. So now I’m obligated to tip my overpriced meal at %15… It has it for 20% and 25%…They may as well put 1000% because I’m not tipping that either. Both mama and my wife thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

GREATSEAFOODANDSERVICEBUTSUPEREXPENSIVE! My husband had never been to Joe’s, even though we live locally, so we went with our son on a Friday night. The ‘call ahead and put your name on the waiting list’ service was great and we spent only 25 min waiting on site of the total 45 min wait. We were notified our table was ready by our cell phone. CALLAHEADTOAVOIDTHEWAITINGESPECIALLYON A TENNESSEEHOMEGAMEWEEKEND! Once we ordered with our server Autumn, [she was great and engaging with us and made great suggestions. Very good service the entire night] our appetizer arrived quickly, followed by our crab buckets. My son and I had the crab buckets [mine with lobster] and my husband had the steak frites. The steak could have been a little better but the crab and lobster buckets were perfection [side of corn on the cob was spicy but potatoes were bland]. Old bay seasoning on the steamed buckets made for a very low calorie meal. Our son had never had crab, so it was a fun experience for him also to crack the crab. All other staff we encountered were great also. The only downside was the price. .SUPEREXPENSIVE! …the crab and lobster buckets were about $ 30 a piece [$ 60] and with the shrimp appetizer and my husband’s steak frites and our drinks [tea], for 3 people to eat was about $ 104.00 before tip. Special occasion dining next time we eat there!

Birthday decision. October 42015 was the day of our visit. After reading many of the reviews posted I decided to give it a go. The one about the crappy service kind of had me thinking maybe not, but the reviews she give on the food sold me. Oh and she was spot on the food part! It was some of the best I have had and not have an ocean around or under me. Daughter one had fish tacos she loved them, Daughter two had popcorn shrimp-loved it, son had grilled shrimp and rice from the kids menu-loved it, mom had clam strips-absolutely loved them, dear old dad had southern stuffed shrimp wrapped in luscious bacon-loved them. If you love corn on the cob, make sure you GETONE, sweet perfectly grilled. We all had a calamari appetizer everybody loved them, except for my son but he just doesn’t know any better yet lol. I wish I could remember our waitress’s name because she was spot on. Just the right amount of attention glasses stayed full, we were missing silverware when we got our food she apologized several times. I really wanted to dive into one of their seafood buckets, but if the food wasn’t good I would have been overly ticked off. I promise on our next visit one of those luscious buckets of goodness has my name on it. So if you in the Sevierville area go to Joes!!! Red Lobster is in the other side of the street so if your on that side make a U-Turn, when you can, and go to Joe’s. We will be back!!!
