We ate here last night and started off with the sweet and spicy shrimp(bang bang shrimp) we thought it was much better than Bonefish’s and was a bigger portion. We both had a house salad one with ranch the other champagne vinaigrette, their homemade dressings are delicious! We split the filet medallions with cheddar mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The filets were super tender, absolute perfection! I wish they would of been a little more generous with the sauces on the filets though. Cheddar mashed potatoes were nothing really special, we didn’t get much cheddar flavor out of them at all. The creamed spinach– Woahhhhh Nellie. The spinach was the bomb, I would probably say the best I have ever had. My husband doesn’t even really like spinach but he couldn’t quit eating it! Finished off with the Coconut Cream Pie which was very light and refreshing but was very coconutty(which we loved) but some might not. All in all really good meal and great service. The beers weren’t super cold which was kind of a bummer… We went around 8:15 and had no problem getting seated! Just a note: The bread they bring you to the table is really fresh and delicious but watch out taking a big bite of the crust– it’s coated in rock salt!

Although the outside may look like another typical bar and grill place, you walk inside and you can see the upper scale decorations, well uniformed staff, and we’ll taken care of furniture. We were greeted by the host and seated within 5 minutes. Once we were seated at a table with lots of elbow room, our waiter introduces himself, asked what we would like to drink, and came back with bread and butter. (I will say that although our waiter was courteous, he was either distracted or uninterested throughout the entire experience.) The bread is very obviously made there and not frozen. It melted in my mouth and I had a hard time putting it down to keep enough room for the entrée. As this is a pricier restaurant, we decided to be cheap and order one of their burgers and fries. It was delicious! With skinny fries on the side and onions rings and bacon inside. Your basic heart attack waiting to happen. Lol. We tried the double key lime pie recommended by our waiter, who mentioned that this one was much better than the one he had tasted in key west. Not anything I would jump for joy for, but the crust was good. Our checks came out promptly, our dishes were taken away as soon as we finished with them. Out drinks were kept filled. Overall great experience for us tourists.

This was my first time eating here. My boyfriend and I are from the Boston area. We loved it! Steak sirloin was amazing. Caleb was our server and was super helpful and friendly, giving us ideas of fun things to do in the area. Highly recommended and great service!

My family and I had dinner at Bull fish Friday night and it was absolutely fabulous. Our waitress Brittany was super attentive to all of our names. I ordered The hand cut chicken tenders and was brought a plate of four huge tenders with french fries and coleslaw. Definitely enough for two meals. My wife had the blackened chicken penne pasta and again it was enough for two people. They serve huge portions at a very reasonable price. That have a very good children’s menu too. I highly recommend eating here and will surely visit every time I am in pigeon Forge.

Their foods are fantastic. Went there with my wife and some friends. We tried the oysters as our appetizers and some Caesar salads. The house red wine is very outstanding. We ordered medallions fillet and ribeye. We must say the steak is done right if you want it at medium rare. The service was very pleasing and the seating is very comfortable with dim low lighting. Overall it was a great experience!!!

We read good reviews about the fried green tomatoes, and then the waiter suggested them so why not? I liked that they were obviously southern but dressed up with goat cheese, balsamic, and bacon jam. We both ordered the prime rib. I got the cheddar potatoes and he got creamed spinach. Everything was delicious. Plus it was half price wine night, so I guess that’s their Thursday night special. Anyhow, it was a very pleasant experience. Great service and good food make me very pleased.

Came here with my wife for lunch. First ambience was great, seems a little up class but people were wearing goodies and ball caps. I had the Twin Jack Grill chicken sandwich. Absolutely AWESOME! It was a real chicken breast, not breaded or a chicken party. A Real Chicken Breast. Still juicy not dry and wonderful Smokey flavor. Wife had the Angus burger and was juicy and flavor ful. I would recommend this place to everyone. Definitely a must have next time I’m in pigeon forge.

So we visited Tennessee for the Holiday and randomly came across this restaurant. We were looking for a more upscale spot to eat where we can have a good steak and getaway a little from all the families and children in most spots in Pigeon Forge. This place was a great fit for all we were looking for. The restaurant itself had a very nice décor with a fireplace in the entrance way. It was an hour before closing so the fire place was off. Which was a bummer, really looking forward to eating a romantic dinner close to a fire. But I got over it quickly. We went straight to our meal. The steak was delicious and everything was on point. Service was also on point !!! Friendly waitress and nice quite atmosphere.

From start to finish this place is fabulous! Spicy shrimp and cheese sticks app. Margaritas are awesome! Shrimp and grits, grilled chicken pasta and the prime rib was served at our table. FABULOUS! The coconut cream pie was really good as well. Salads were great too! We’re stuffed and will definitely be back next time in the area!

Our office went to Bullfish for a Christmas get together. It was delicious. We enjoyed cold beverages: white wine, chocolate porter and bloody Mary’s. The service was wonderful. Our entrees included the strawberry sale with delicious grilled chicken on top. The dressing was great also. One friend orders a filet with stuffed potato and spinach Maria, while another ordered salmon over rice. It was very good. The chocolate mousse cake was very good also. Highly recommend!

All I can say is, Omgosh because this was the best experience ever! Our waiter Troy was outstanding, such an incredible server and very attentive to our needs without us even having to ask for anything at all. We started out with the Mozzarella Sticks, they had a delicious crusty outside and thick cheesy inside with marinara drizzled on top. The fresh bread was soft and hot out the oven, so good! My hubby got the sirloin with sweet potatoes and a salad. He ate every bite! I got the strawberry salad with honey vinaigrette, amazing! Even the sweet tea was perfect. Really enjoyed our experience here, the manager came and spoke to us and we made sure to praise the customer service and friendly staff he has. From start to finish was wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We were trying someplace new on our way into town this trip and decided to try here. Once we sat and the host came they took our order. They didn’t offer any extras when we ordered water to drink so I had to catch her as she was turning away to place an app order. Then there was about a 30 minute wait between placing our dinner order and the food coming. And about 15 minutes into that wait some bread came out. Our first time here so we didn’t know… Apparently we should have had bread 14 minutes prior to when we got it. The food tasted fine. Just not that impressed with the service.

Wow, is the best way I can explain the dining experience my wife and I had at Bullfish! First, the food was exceptional. I had the fillet mignon medallions and my wife had the ribeye. If I had any complaints for that it would only be that my steak was a little undercooked for me but my wife thought it was just right, but it was still a very good. We had an appetizer of fried green tomatoes with a balsamic reduction and feta cheese. The appetizer was very good. They also brought homemade bread that was outstanding. Maybe the best thing we had was dessert. For dessert we had a coconut cream pie in a deep dish graham cracker crust. All the desserts here are made in house. The pie had the consistency of cheesecake and my wife said it might be the best thing she has ever eaten! Secondly, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was very attentive without hovering over the table when we didn’t need things. We never were out of anything and the manager even came by to make sure everything was good. It was the kind of service did you expect from a fine restaurant. When we looked at Unilocal we found that this restaurant had some of the best reviews in Pigeon Forge and now having been there I understand why. If you are in this area and you’re looking for a good steak restaurant don’t miss Bullfish!

Great place! The food was perfect and the staff was friendly. My wife had the filet medallions and I had the baby back ribs. Both were cooked perfectly and the quality of the meats were great. For desert we had the apple funnel cake. It was amazing! We will be back every time we’re near Pigeon Forge!

Our waiter was nice. Kinda weird he would replace my bf and his dad’s drinks when it was still ¾ full. Seemed very wasteful. The place wasn’t even busy. The bread served was delicious, warm and yeasty. Food was overall decent. Menu choices very similar to Bonefish Grill, but different names on the menu. Bonefish is probably better in food taste and quality. Mozzarella sticks were more lil squares than sticks. The Spicy shrimp was pretty much Bang Bang shrimp. My bf’s parent both ordered steak, medium rare, but both came out almost done. They both ate it anyways. Bf ordered fall off the bone ribs and he loved them. We were excited about the white cheddar mash potatoes, which was a disappointment. Barely had enough cheese flavor. I ordered a simple burger, medium rare, which came out done. Finally, to the desserts. Keylime pie was completely bland. No hint of lime flavor at all. Squeezed the thin slice of lime on it, which made it good for one more bite. Chocolate cake was dry. Only good dessert was the funnel cake with apple topping and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Have had better tasting funnel cake, but compared to the other 2 desserts here, the funnel cake was the only one we almost finished. We were seated quickly, waiter was ok, food was decent.

One of the best dinners we had while in the area visiting. The warm bread they serve with the meal is so incredibly delicious! Thinking it about this bread makes me want some right now. Would definitely go back to Bullfish when back in town, not sure I would order the trout again. French onion soup — very good Filet Mignon Medallions — very yummy and would order again Rainbow Trout & asparagus — asparagus was good, the rainbow trout seemed to be a bit overcooked and lacked some flavor Bullfish Chicken Pasta — huge portion size and very yummy

Pigeon Forge seemed to have better restaurant options than Gatlinburg, so we swung up to Bullfish Grill to enjoy the evening. It was definitely the best menu I saw. I had called the day before to get a reservation, but sadly they only do a 30-minute call ahead. January is the off-season for Pigeon Forge, so I didn’t figure we’d have too much trouble getting a table anyway. I called just before we left Gatlinburg and was told that there was no wait. Works for me. Sitting inside a place like Bullfish makes you forget about all of the ridiculousness of Pigeon Forge outside. It’s likely the only place in this town that doesn’t feel like Country Bear Jamboree. We started with some of the Fried Green Tomatoes for an appetizer. They come layered with goat cheese, mixed greens, and a balsamic reduction. I liked the cornbread breading, although my wife was hoping for tempura. I also enjoyed the combination of creamy goat cheese and sweet, acidic balsamic. For my entrée, I decided to try the Filet Mignon Medallions, which are two 4oz filet medallions, one topped with a shiitake mushroom demi-glacé and one topped with a blue crabmeat bearnaise. It also comes with a salad(I chose Caesar) and one side, for which I picked the Pecan Brittle Sweet Potatoes. The salad had nice shaved parmesan on top, but not enough of it. The lettuce also had quite a few stems mixed in. On the plus side, they went easy on the dressing, unlike a lot of restaurants. The sweet potatoes were nice and sweet with just the right amount of cinnamon and brown sugar. The pecan brittle added a really nice crunch to the velvety potatoes. It was quite delicious. My mushroom filet came with only two tiny mushrooms on top. The meat was tender, although I had asked for medium rare and got medium. I’d also say that the«demi-glacé» was really more of a gravy than anything. The crab filet was closer to the correct medium rare. The creamy bearnaise was good, and I could really taste the crab. It also had a good amount of black pepper to it. If we come back to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, we’ll definitely return to Bullfish Grill. It wasn’t the best meal I’ve ever had, but it’s probably the best you’ll find here.
