Stopped on the way out of town for a quick lunch. Great place to get lunch while avoiding the same old chain restaurants. Very casual dining, small interior and self-​service ordering/​drinks. Our family of 4 had: Mike’s Perfect Pork platter, pulled pork platter, The Porch Pup (hot dog), and a half-​lb cheeseburger. I ordered a small banana pudding because of another review, and we ate that as an appetizer.
Prices are very reasonable, portions are plenty, and service was fast and friendly.
Several groups of locals came in while we were there, which is always a good sign. Our 12yo and 14yo gave it a thumbs up & requested we go again next time we visit the area.

Stop into this place on vacation. By far the friendliest service we had the entire trip. The food was great and very reasonably priced. This place is definitely added to our yearly trip itinerary.

This place will become a tradition in our family. Friendly people, amazing food, and reasonable priced. Don’t miss out on Mikes pulled pork, fried okra, and the banana pudding is to die for. Get it to go if you have to, but don’t leave without it. Local people and out of the rush of the tourists.

We were visiting the area for the 1st time and found this place based on a Unilocal review. We like to support local restaurants so stopped by and everything they said was true. If you’re looking for a slab of ribs it’s not your place but the bbq sandwiches and the sweet potato fries were awesome. We even took some of the seasoning home with us. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It’s a small place but lots of locals stopped by while we were there for to go orders so that should tell you something. Only downfall was they weren’t open late because of catering.
