This was perfect for us to stop on a daytrip to Sequim. My friend’s dog was getting a little antsy and we wanted her to get some of her energy out prior to going to the Olympic Game Farm so that she didn’t jump out the window or something else at the farm. The dog park is separated into three gated areas. The smaller dog area is ample size to accommodate at least 50 dogs and their owners. The larger dog area is also decent in size. Both areas have water stations and covered benches just in case you want to sit down and watch the dogs play. The third area is for agility testing or for dogs to run the obstacle course. I will say that the majority of the dogs that were in the large pen were very friendly and kind of minded their own business. My friend’s dog did get scratched in the nose as she entered though, so her nose was bleeding a bit but nothing major. The pens also come equipped with a few dog ball tossers and other toys to keep the doggies moving as well as doggie doo bags. I did sense a bit of community here as well as there were a few posters of dogs that have passed on as well as dogs that were lost were posted and several people talked about the dogs that passed on as if they were their own. Overall, a nice place to just let your dogs run.

Wonderful grassy dog park, very well organized. One fenced yard for small dogs. Of the two large dog yards, only one is open at a time, to rest the grass in the other. The Sequim Police has an agility run there, free to all park users. Beautifully maintained and clean! Nobody forgets to scoop here.

We were driving through Sequim with our dogs and wanted to let them out for a bit. I had no idea Sequim had a dog park so I googled it and found the park’s website. One thing I noticed right away is that it’s only a short walk from the car to the park. There is a dog park in Auburn that is at least a mile from where you park the car. This park is considerably more convenient. There are 3 separate areas. There is a space for small dogs, large dogs and one with agility equipment. I also like how there are restrooms nearby. For some reason they had opera music cranked up in there.

We went to the Sequim Off Leash Dog Park for the first time today and was very happy with our experience. As mentioned in previous reviews, there are two separate, fenced-in areas. One for small dogs and one for«all dogs,» which to me means small dogs who don’t yap in big dog’s faces are allowed on that side :) We have two medium-sized dogs and they both had a blast! Met a few friendly faces and got the cabin fever booted straight out of our two pups after about half an hour there. I wish it were a little bigger, because the one where we used to live was about 20 acres with a forest/trail and plenty of space for the dogs to romp. This was about 2 acres of land fenced in for the dogs. I was excited to see that there was an agility course set up in one of the separate fenced-in areas, but disappointed when I saw the sign that said it was closed for maintenance. My shepherd mix loves agility and I am hoping to take advantage of that area some time in the future! Overall, we loved this place and will be returning with the pups again soon!

This is an AWESOME off leash park! Just over 2 acres, with running water in all sections of the park, though it is turned off in the winter as the pipes could freeze and burst. There is a faucet on the back of the building across the parking lot. There are now 3 areas: a SMALL dog area, and 2LARGE dog areas that are separated so that one area can be left to regrow any missing grass while the other area is in use. There is a GREAT agility course, mostly for the Sequim Police K9, but anyone who knows how to use it can. Generally, it’s a good idea NOT to bring your small dog into the large dog area. Some large dogs just don’t particularly like small dogs in their face. Also, EVERYONE needs to pick up after their dog. ALWAYS keep an eye on your dog to avoid problems with other dogs and people! Rule of thumb is «3 is a crowd» — dogs gang up when there are more than 2 rough housing.

What a nice off leash park where you can let the dogs run! There are two areas for dogs. One for small dogs and one for the big doggies! Both parks did have water, dog poop bags, benches for people to sit while watching their dogs, and plenty of trees for shade. The people here at the park were very nice and they would pick up other dogs’ poop that were not picked up. They were also responsive to my dog when she wanted them to throw her ball. Overall– this was a friendly place for both dogs and their owners!
