The meal was fine and the inside seemed fine, the only real slight problem i had with it was the wait time which was a while. But other than that i would defiantly recommend.

Unfortunately, my first and only experience with their takeout was a disappointment. I’m giving 3 stars instead of 2 because I walked in at the end of their business day. The younger worker was on his hands and knees picking up fries behind the counter. When i ordered my gyro he looked at the grill and there was a small pile of meat in the corner. I was really hoping they would be carving it off a big chunk of meat in that rotating spit. Anyway, I asked of there would be enough and he assured me yes and that it was only there for 20 minutes. Anyway, the older worker came over put on gloves and chopped up the meat and prepared my lamb/beef gyro. The taste was there and their yogurt sauce was good but the meat was dry. Not sure I’ll go back, but if I do, it’ll be in the middle of the day.

Add a star if you’re coming for the french fries. These are the best fries in the area — I don’t know what kind of oil they’re cooked in, but I’m assuming it’s super-unhealthy since they come out with SUCH crispy exteriors without tipping over the line to «burnt». The rest of the menu involves grilled items of one sort or another, with halal-prepared meat items(shawarma, gyro, hamburger, chicken, etc). The menu has different prices at the restaurant, and only delivers on Friday & Saturday. That’s a bummer because the only delivery I can get in the area is Chinese & Italian, so another option would be welcome. They’ve always been pleasant at the counter or over the phone to me — even when ordering at 6:40(they close at 7 except on weekends I believe are open until 10pm, which is another slight bummer for the later-rushed-takeout-dinner-crowd).

Can’t get enough. Delicious food all around and highly recommended. I’ve been traveling, and can’t seem to get this place off my mind. Can’t wait to get home and have another plate.

Came in over the weekend for the philly cheese steak and it was spectacular. The mixture of sauces with the meat and cheese came to become a great appetizing meal. I recommend adding bbq sauce, it’s gives a great taste to an already phenomenal sandwich!

The food was good until… The owner went to the back entrance and smoked an extremely smelly cigar that filled the restaurant with a smell we couldn’t get away from. I suggest take out. Also, menu on board and in paper don’t match, and there was no Greek salad!!! So double check if they have what you want before you order.

This place was rather disappointing. I got the mixed chicken shawarma and lamb. They charge an additional $ 2 for this which is not like what most Halal places do. The lamb as extremely dried out as if the spit was sitting there forever. The hot sauce and white sauce was not good either. The only decent thing was the rice. The lamb was from one of those processed homogenous hunks of meat that tasted like it was on there since the place opened I am not going to compare this to places in the city, but I have had a lot of Halal platters before. This is one of the worst I have had. You would do much better going to Time Out to Eat which is a stone’s throw away if you want chicken and rice. The best place in the area for«gyros» is Angora which is less than 10 mins away from this place and blows it away.

Just stopped by to order some food and was turned away because they were closing. However their hours show open until 10PM online. I own a restaurant down the street and never turn away customers(with reasonable orders) so I am highly disappointed.

Great food. Huge portion and dirt cheap. The meat was well seasoned and the fries were freshly made for us and honestly the best I’ve had in ages. Will definitely return soon.

I’ve been here on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. It seems to be a family run place and everyone is extremely friendly. All the entrees including lamb are delicious. The best part; it’s cheap! You get a lot of food for a small price.

I’ve been to this place twice and had good experiences both times. I enjoy the lamb gyro. It has excellent texture, great flavor, and comes with non-greasy fries that are seasoned nicely. I see the bad reviews this place gets for service but luckily that has not been my experience. Dine in doesn’t have the greatest ambiance but the food makes up for that.

Most complete unprofessional business i have ever experienced, started from the phone etiquette, and ended with the lack of respect of customer service from the staff. I will never recommend this business to anyone in Selden. They should be ashamed of their lack of respect for professionalism

I love this place. I have been looking for good quality Halal nyc cart style food forever but this place is honestly my favorite. All the platters taste amazing and high quality without a doubt. I’ve watched them make the food myself and you can tell just how meticulous and caring they are about quality. This is the best of its type in Selden and in Suffolk County. I can’t believe more people do not go here. I’ve been a regular customer and the quality and taste never suffers

Went here last weekend for some take out. Food was very good. We enjoyed the gyros and salads. Fries were not greasy or cold like a lot of take outs. They did forget an item we ordered but we were not charged, so it must have been a phone order mistake. Clean place but very small. Take out is best bet. Will return no doubt.

The food here is very good, and inexpensive. The menu seems like something that was hastily thrown together, though(who goes to a small gyro place for macaroni and cheese?). The employees are very friendly and helpful, not the kind that just stare at you after an order is placed, wondering what you’re doing. The only gripe I have is no falafel. Really? It’s pretty much an establishment with no vegetarian options(again, that mac & cheese is available), which is a little odd, because there are plenty of other gyro joints in the area that have falafel on the menu. Unfortunately that’s going to prevent me from returning here, as my wife is a vegetarian. Womp Womp.

I spotted in because I wanted to have something fast that’s wasn’t a big franchise company. Ordered the gyro with French fries. They have seasoned fries so I decided to give them a try. The seasoning was good. Not to much just or over powering. Enjoyed the gyro as well. Plenty of yogurt sauce the guy behind the counter told me it’s real yogurt so that’s a plus. The salad on the sandwich was crispy and tasted fresh. Had banana pudding for dessert with nilla cookies in it. It was a sweet treat.

I got a whole bunch of take-out from this place to sample a little bit of everything. I ordered the chicken and rice platter, the shawarma rice platter, the chicken cheesesteak and the philly cheesteak. While nothing was really spectacular, it wasn’t bad either. The only problem is, for the price, the portions I received were kinda small. For the chicken/shawarma and rice platter, it was served in a foam take-out out container and only half of that had the chicken and rice. The other half had salad. And both of them weren’t even full in the container. I get chicken and rice from a place a couple of streets down that has huge servings for much cheaper. The philly cheesesteak was ok. The meat was kind of tough at some parts and really soft at other parts and the cheese they used congealed in a weird way by the time I got it home. The bread was also not toasted, which I would’ve like, but maybe I should’ve requested that. If they increase their portions than I would likely return, but I’m not sure if I’m gonna keep coming here if I can get the same menu from Time Out To Eat down the block for much cheaper. The place is also very small. Very limited seating, so you can’t really go and eat there. It’s just a place to get take-out from time to time.

So I literally just finish eating take out from this place and I have to say the food was pretty decent. The girl at the counter was super nice and while I was waiting I notice that they have wifi. The place is tiny maybe three table tops total so id suggest getting the food to go. I ended up ordering the hot wings, a chicken shwarma, and the banana pudding. The wings were great super crispy and fresh outta the fryer. The fries that came with it were the typical shoe string fries. The dressing that came with the wings was packets of Kraft blue cheese… Boo The shwarma was really tasty and perfectly seasoned. the only downside is the salad that they top the shwarma with made the pita really soggy causing it to rip before I was able to bite into it. So maybe next time I’ll ask for it on the side. The banana pudding was meh super artificial tasting so I’d skip this. Overall not to shabby. A good option for a quick bite if your in the area. They just opened exactly 6 days ago so give em so time to work out their kinks. Oh and they also deliver
