GO! It really is that simple but I will elaborate. Me; RI native living in FL staying in Bristol for the 4th. Needed some yummy New England goodies to put out for family gathering on the 3rd. I am not a cook. I bought seafood salad — delicious, stuffies — they were good although flavor could have been more consistent from stuffie to stuffie, and peeled and cooked shrimp — super fresh. They were busy when I got there(11am on the 3rd of July) but the staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely visit again and give something else a try(along with more seafood salad). Man I miss RI seafood.

Great fresh fish selection. Fresh deli items too. I can even get the lobsters I purchased cooked hot to go, for free. They also have an awesome wine and craft beer selection.

Tony’s is one of the last few Seafood Shops in the area, outside of what you find at the big grocery stores. The quality is great and you always get friendly, helpful service. You see their trucks deliver to many of the area’s top restaurants so there’s good reason why Tony’s is still going strong. From live Lobsters, to fish, shellfish or their homemade crab cakes or stuffed shrimp, Tony’s is the place to buy seafood in the Providence area! *One word of caution, it can get quite busy on Friday afternoons, so calling ahead to place an order is a great way to get in and out in a flash…*

Having tried a number of seafood markets in the area(and we’re fortunate to have so many), I like Tony’s best. They have a good selection of fresh fish and shellfish along with a nice assortment of prepared foods. Most weeks they feature a couple of deals which may well determine tonight’s supper. I’ve bought from Tony’s well over a hundred times and not once has anything been less than perfectly fresh. Prices are good but usually not great.

Tony’s is without a doubt the best seafood market in the greater Providence area. Sure, it’s about a fifteen minute drive from the PVD(might as well be in Boston by Rhode Island standards), but it’s worth it to get the quality of food you’ll find at Tony’s, and at lower prices than Whole Foods. I’ve been going to Tony’s for seafood since I was a kid, and I will continue to go for as long as I live in Rhode Island. They have everything you could possibly need for a seafood feast here. All sorts of fish, lobsters, crabs, oysters, clams of every shape and size as well as seafood salads, precooked shrimp, seafood pates, and dry goods that you would probably be looking for if you were cooking any one of those foods. The seafood itself is extremely fresh. I will often buy seafood at Whole Foods for the convenience factor, but when I make the drive to Seekonk, I am always happy, as you truly can taste the difference. Tony’s will even shuck oysters for you or steam your lobster ahead of time if you’re in a rush or squeamish, and you can’t beat that kind of convenience. So go yesterday, if you haven’t been!

Tony’s can get slammed but they’re usually well staffed and they have the ‘pull a number’ approach working well. They have a great selection. Very fair prices and really fresh good seafood. I love their shrimp cocktail — there’s nothing like it around for the price!

Not a bad seafood market. They have a large selection and the employees are very friendly and helpful. This place can get packed with a «take a number» system in place. I went in for littlenecks. When the woman went to get them, there were a lot with broken shells in the bin. She was told by another worker than someone had went to get more. After a short wait someone dumped more littlenecks in the bin for her. There were so, so many broken ones. She went through picking out ones that weren’t broken for me and putting the broken ones to the side. Even with her doing that when I opened the bag at home, I still had some broken ones. While she was taking care of me, someone else ordered littlenecks and the man taking care of him just loaded up the bag without checking to see how many were broken. I bet he wasn’t very happy when he opened his bag at home. This just left a bad taste in my mouth. I would return, but I would keep a close eye when they were selecting my seafood or shellfish.

Tony’s is one heck of a seafood joint. This always was our go to seafood place when my GF worked nearby. Unfortunately we don’t get here as often but guys sometimes we will drive to the ‘Konk just to get Tony’s reasonable prices on seafood. Bar none, they always will have cheap deals on shelfish. But not only are the deals good, the people are extremely helpful. And randomly they have a decent selection of craft beers if you are into that sort of thing.

I’ve stopped in a few times. All the fresh fish has been good. Fresh quality fish. However the prepared foods have been disappointing. I took home a stuffed quahog it was all bread and 5 pieces of meaty quahog :(

Good seafood market for high quality seafood that was likely plucked from the Atlantic ocean that morning. The reason I chose to highlight this place is the customer service. The workers are very knowledgeable, and while you can buy fresh oysters to shuck at home, for a nominal fee Tony’s will also shuck them for you and have them ready for pickup.

I have been going to Tony’s for many years. They have a good selection of very high quality seafood at pretty good prices. You may find better prices but their quality is consistently very good. Good enough for me to drive to Seekonk from Providence. I have not found a better combination of quality and value. It is sad that someone gave this place one star because they thought the chowder was too spicy. Make your own chowder.

Best seafood anywhere around. I stop here at least twice a week to get dinner for my family. The quality is unbeatable. I love their chowder and prepared diahes especially the stuffed sole!!! Also they sell wine and beer which make it so much easier to get all the things I need I one stop! Everyone should be getting their fresh seafood at Tony’s seafood!

I haven’t been to many other seafood markets in the area, so i don’t have much to compare it too, but i’m happy enough with Tony’s that i don’t see a reason to go elsewhere. Their prices are very good, like fresh local sword for $ 9 or $ 10 a pound. They’ll give you ice for transport if you need, and they carry lemons and micro brew beer for one stop shopping. As far as i can tell everything is legit, and i know a few chefs who use them. The counter staff is helpful and knowledgable.

at one time this place made the best chowder in town… not so anymore. they load their chowder with red pepper, there should be no kick in chowder as a result you cannot taste the clam broth flavor. The last quart we got had lots of potatoes and very few clams. Their fresh seafood is fine… so if you are looking for a place to get stuff to cook at home they are fine…

The best seafood shop ever. The fish is always fresh and the store is spotless. There are many good seafood shops in this area but this is in a class of its own.
