Came in for lunch and they have some good lunch specials! It’s a cute little restaurant and the service was super quick and friendly. You can’t go wrong with some chicken shawarma(except spelling it) which comes with some rice and choice of 2 sides(got to make one the hummus with pita!) It was a filling, tasty portion that is especially great for those grabbing lunch quickly on a break. They also have wraps for less fancy options and some entrees for more fancy options. If you want some Middle Eastern food that’s quick, reasonably priced, and tasty, you aren’t going to do any better.

The worst place for food and service! Went here for a meal w my sis and kids… Took forever to get the waitress to to take our order and when she did she took it with an attitude. Finally our meal comes out and it was disgusting, what a waste of time and money… my nieces friend had an allergic reaction to the beef shawarma… I ask the chef what is in it bc she is having an allergic reaction… He tells me spices… Ok, what spices??? He was trying to act nonchalant for some reason… Didn’t even care that this poor little girls tongue is swelling up and getting numb… he doesn’t want to tell us what’s in it… Seriously!!! Will never go here again…

Delicious and healthy food options! Always fresh. I’m not a huge salad person, but I always get their Greek salad with chicken and the chicken is freshly grilled(never dry) and I’ve never had limp tomatoes or lettuce. Their appetizers and lentil soups are to die for !

I have done takeout from here a few times. It’s good food at very reasonable prices. The chicken shawrma is good and the fries are plump and firm. TBH, this isnt exactly the most authentic middle eastern food you will eat BUT their service is friendly, food is good and prices are solid. Check out their breakfast options too especially if you are living in the area hotels.

I was staying in a hotel nearby and although I’m familiar with the Secaucus area, I had passed this restaurant many times. Until I saw the reviews of other Unilocalers, I would have never stopped. Sinbad Café is on Meadowlands Parkway just off Rt. 3, very easy to find and get back on your way. Ordered the Chicken Shawarma to go along with a Tabouli Salad. The chicken was great, it was the first time I’ve ever tried this dish. Tender strips of chicken in a light creamy sauce with a perfect balance of spices. It included a generous portion of yellow rice. The Tabouli salad had too much parsley for my taste, I thought it was going to be closer to a Shepard’s salad at a Turkish restaurant. I never tried this dish previously. Prices are very reasonable for the portions and quality. Next time I’m in the Secaucus area I will be back for a sit down meal.

Hands down the best chicken kebabs we’ve ever had. The chicken is sooo tender and tasty. Great combo with the rice. We constantly order for delivery and the food is always fresh + quick delivery. Breakfast here is great too! Price is very affordable.

If you come here around 5:30 you’ll get the fastest service ever. My salad and lemonade(they don’t serve any alcohol) came out in two minutes. I had the Shawarma chicken and so did my friend. This is a very clean and relaxed restaurant.

We were down for a game one weekend and should have been to Sinbad’s for breakfast and lunch and dinner. Excellent service. Great and tasty food. I wanted a good cup of coffee and was offered a taste and it was better than Dunkin Donuts next door. We had the breakfast and I enjoyed the banana pancakes. Fresh bananas. Overall– super pleased and wish we had discovered them earlier in the weekend! Give it a shot!

We stopped here for breakfast the morning after a game at MetLife Stadium. Right across the street from our hotel so that was perfect. We filled the entire restaurant with all of our out-of-town fans so I know the waitress was VERY busy. She took a while to get to us but luckily the food didn’t take too long considering the amount of people. Overall not bad… and made me feel a lot better after a night of drinking at a football game!

Service was poor, but they were exceptionally busy. Also, I would request extra Ham and extra egg on the breakfast sandwich. It was real bread heavy. Oh and the coffee was terrible.

A hidden gem in the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts. You wouldn’t know it was here unless you looked for it. But… so worth it when you find it. They have great food and awesome breakfast specials with huge portions. The cook makes it right in front of you from his kitchen station. The wait staff is friendly and polite. It’s like having a new diner in town with a Mediterranean twist. Come and see for yourself how good it is, you won’t be disappointed!

*This review is for the takeout option only* After having a really terrible day, my dad brought home one the best chicken wraps I have ever had. He also got the taboule. The chicken shawarma wrap is out of this world, the chicken is thin slices seasoned well with lettuce & tomato in a whole wheat wrap. The extra pickle adds the perfect saltiness to offset the intense flavor of the shwarma. The side was a little salad seasoned perfectly with Italian. I don’t think I could speak for the taboule myself because my mom would not share with me. That speaks for itself how good it is, plus she said that the taboule was not salty like a lot are. Both meals were very generous portions at a great price! A little over $ 12 together.

Went to this place today for the lunch special. Everything was delicious, the wait staff was very attentive. I had the chicken thigh kebab and my date had the chicken shawarma. They were both perfectly cooked. The rice was enjoyable. The hummus was great, but what stood out was the baba ghanoush. I didn’t give this place a perfect score because it was lunch and not dinner. I’ll be going back for dinner and will update this review. Go for lunch! It’s affordable and great.

To me 3.5 stars. The lunch special price high .but servings are plenty … They definitely feed you more rice than meat. The ratio of rice to meat 1:10. The baba really really good . I don’t know why but I have had their hummus about 5 times, and it gives me the heaves .it’s good but turns my stomach . Overall they can do better . Included pictures of lunch had a kafta looks like a turd I un-appealing. When you get the kafta cut it up right away as to make it appealing.

I am 110% sure this place only stays in business because it’s surrounded by hotels and there is a serious lack of local competition on the breakfast front. I would give it one star but my omelet was actually pretty good. My friend and I came here for a hangover cure a la eggs and pancakes. We walked in and were ignored(by the one cook and one waitress). Seeing no sign indicating whether we should wait to be seated our seat ourselves, we chose the latter and sat at the last open table. For the next 10 minutes, the waitress literally ignored us… As in, made eye contact with me and then looked away and continued with her other tables. Finally she came over. I ordered an omelet with onions peppers and tomatoes and she didn’t understand what I wanted. I’m not exaggerating. I had to explain I wanted a «veggie» omelet but with those 3 vegetables only. I asked for a grilled bagel instead of toast and you would have thought I asked for instructions on a frontal lobotomy. She was just completely baffled. She said, «toasted?» And I said no, grilled, but that she could toast it if the cook couldn’t grill it. My friend ordered banana pancakes. Now, in the meantime, we got two vitamin waters and one of them was expired! I mean, it’s water so it can’t be that bad but I’m pretty sure the Dept of Public Heath frowns on that kind of thing … Our food came out pretty quickly, decent portions, the home fries were well seasoned and the omelet was actually great. When the waitress brought the bagel she said, «I guess he was able to grill it!» Buttttt it was toasted. Ah well, the mysterious and elusive grilled bagel strikes again? And it was burned enough to taste the char. We were starving and ate everything, toasted or not. And then I looked at my plate and saw what looked like blue frosting caked into the side of the plate. Nothing I ate was blue. These dishes just weren’t clean at all. Neither was the table. And as I looked around, neither was anything else. All the chairs were falling apart(including ours) and the place was just kinda ruddy. But the dirty dishes are grotesque and unacceptable. Oh and I should mention 1. There is no where to wait. At all. So if the tables are full you either linger in the restaurant awkwardly, or you leave. 2. Halfway through our meal, a woman with two small kids came in and she dropped one in a little curtained-off area behind my seat. Except the curtain was open and this little nugget was watching a movie on her laptop. Which is fine, but it was like being a daycare. If they got rid of that little area, they actually would be able to seat waiting patrons. Finished our meal and waited another 10 – 15 minutes before we got the check, which — predictably, given our whole experience — was overcharged. I told the waitress, who did fix it, but it was the icing on the cake. Or should I say the icing on the dirty dishes.
