Bonefish Grill

A shoutout to our hostess Debra who went out of her way to accompany our reservation time and party size change last minute and not to mention attentive to our request for nickel-​free food. Thanks Debra! Overall food and service ate exceptional.

I love Bonefish Grill! I’ve only ever been to a Bonefish for happy hour before, but yesterday I went mid-​day and it was wonderful. Even though it was 3 PM, we were offered the dinner menu and specials for the day.
I got a Florida Cobb Salad with Salmon instead of Chicken. The dressing that came with the salad was really good, nice and light. I probably could have done without the blue cheese though. I guess it’s my fault for ordering salmon, but I’d imagine the blue cheese would go quite well with chicken. The mango was a nice fresh take on the cobb, and I enjoyed the other salad ingredients like avocado, pepitas, and tomatoes as well.
As an app we got the calamari, and omg, I would go back there again JUST for that. If you don’t like pickled jalepenos I would recommend telling your waiter/​waitress to leave them off. The calamari was nice and crisp, without the batter being too heavy. With a spritz of lemon and the sauce it was served with, it made a great starter.
They always serve their bread with the pesto dipping sauce nice and warm. I didn’t eat too much of that. For dessert we got the key lime pie. It was phenomenal. Creamy with a nice citrus punch from the lime. The crust was crumbly and buttery. It was a great way to end the meal. I would definitely share the dessert though, as it is very sweet.
The only thing I didn’t LOVE was our waitress. She was talking very quickly and rushing us. She ended her shift in the beginning and someone else took over. The next girl was friendly, warm, and very accommodating!

The food was excellent as was the service. The atmosphere was nicer then the one in Paramus and the hostess we had was funny and very personable. I had the salmon and my wife and mother-​in-​law had the stuffed tilapia. We did dine early on a Saturday so there was no wait and not crowded. Definitely will visit again.

Food is always good.
The Mussels are to die for and so is the Bang Bang shrimp. A good place considering it is a Chain Restaurant.

We decided to give Bonefish Grill another chance and I am so glad we did. While we always enjoyed the food we previously had a couple problems with the service. Glad to say that tonight, not only was the food still very good but the service was top notch as well. So I am very happy that I won’t have to give up my Bang Bang Shrimp and look forward to coming back very soon!

We always start off sharing the Bang Bang Shrimp. Delicious crispy shrimp in a spicy creamy sauce with scallions on a bed of shredded lettuce. Very yummy. Tonight I had the single lobster tail (5 – 6 ounces) steamed and seasoned with warm drawn butter plus two sides, I got the jasmine rice and sauteed spinach. Very good. Our wonderful server Amber even brought the drawn butter before the entrees so it could warm up. Nice touch The lobster was perfect and just the right amount of food. Hubby got the sea scallops and shrimp with a Pan Asian sauce and chose Sauteed spinach and potatoes au gratin for his sides. He enjoyed his meal very much. Can’t forget to mention the warm delicious bread with pesto oil dipping sauce. So good. Tonight I had a wonderful drink called a Modern Mojito. Delicious and strong! Amber told me they put a full two ounces of rum in it and I believe her! All in all it was an excellent meal that we enjoyed very much. We had a couple of issues with service in the past but it seems to be a glitch that hasn’t been repeated. We definitely will be back

It’s nice for a chain. The atmosphere was nice and casual. With appeals for families or friends getting together. The waitress was super nice. She was very aware of our needs. She made it the experience nice.
The grapefruit martini was nice. It was a little overboard with the salt on the rim. The steak was okay. It was a very forgettable steak. The coleslaw was mediocre.
The waitress was super excited when we included her in our credit card game. Unfortunately I lost but it was an okay meal with friends and she was super happy to be a part of our degeneracy.
It was fine overall. A little pricey for what it is. If you want a medium nice place this is fine.

Last night I tried what was by far the best steamed Lobster tails I ever had.
Not chewy or rubbery.
My friend and I were talking about it again this morning.
I won’t go for lobster anywhere else.

I went to get drunk and abandon any connection i have with god. I got what i came for. And bread

GREAT martinis and appetizers. Have gone a few times now, ordered two or three drinks, split a few appetizers among friends, and had a great time.

First time to a Bonfish location, and wow! The whole experience start to finish was excellent. The head host Deborah was fantastic! She held our table and was so sweet. Great first impression! The rest if the experience followed suit! If all the locations provide this quality of service, I will continue to cone back again and again!

Their menu isn’t the greatest with selections, but there’s a few things to get that are worth it (bang bang shrimp)
I really go there cause of the one server that offers AMAZING service, polite and very kind (Angel). I always ask for him.

Went to Bonefish tonight for a friend’s birthday. Had a great time and service was amazing. I’ve been here before but the place was noticeably different tonight. The renovations are impressive and gave the place a lot of life.
The Bang bang shrimp is delicious — it reminds me of the honey walnut shrimp served at Chinese restaurants. I also had the Cobiya and it was out of this world. Never tried this type of fish before (didn’t even know this fish existed before tonight) but I was very pleasantly surprised. Our server, Samantha was very sweet and recommended the dish to us.
I also ordered the Hawaiian martini, which was a tropical delight. They didn’t cheap out on the alcohol at all. Perhaps my favorite martini of all time. Max, the general manager, came by with an incredible assortment of desserts for my friend’s birthday at the end of the night.
Honestly, couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night. Would definitely recommend this place for celebrations/​birthdays

Good food as always, tasty drinks, I was a little saddened that the mahi mahi didn’t make a permanent stay on the menu but other than that a wonderful time

Loved this place. The staff is super nice and perky and the food/​drinks are really good. Happy Hour till 7PM. Ceviche was really good, oysters were fresh though I wish that they served it with some kind of vinaigrette. Ahi Tuna sashimi was great too! their blackberry sangria was delish!

Normally, I’d gladly give 5 stars without hesitation. Sadly, that is no longer the case. Why? Because something is different, pertaining to the food. The service is the same as usual, mediocre at best. It depends on who your server is. The hostess, Linda (i think that’s her name), short black lady who’s always loud, she’s very rude. I’ve noticed for years how she treats people a certain way depending on the color of their skin (that’s all I’ll say about that for now). But the food is different, and I don’t mean that in a good way. The pecan parmesan crusted rainbow trout (my favorite) has a ridiculous amount of bones in it the last several times I’ve ordered it. For years, that’s NEVER been the case. I don’t know if it’s a new chef or the current one has suddenly become too lazy to de-​bone the fish prior to cooking it. Either way, it makes for a horrible experience to have to pick bones out or spit them out during EVERY bite. Call it nitpicking, i don’t care. It matters to me. My days at bonefish are slowly but surely coming to an end. For years it was one of my favorite restaurants for just a few items on the menu. But things are different now. The remodeling looks great, though.

My first time here went very well. It started out with good suggestions, then the drinks came out ridiculously amazing (Eli is definitely a great bartender)… Food came out great. Chowder was delicious. The oysters were amazing, except for the fact they ran out of it when I wanted to order another six. But I couldn’t get mad cuz Eli suggested this shrimp appetizer with feta cheese, sundried tomatoes, and olives… And that was just so good. My tummy was happy walking out of the restaurant. I would definitely come back, especially if the best bartender was working! Can’t complain about anything.

Even though we have one in SCV I guess it took us flying to New Jersey to go to one. We went for dinner on Saturday and had fish tacos and fish and chips to split between us.
Service was all very nice, guy named Joe was our waiter, but all the staff kept coming by and smiling at us (likely because I look like Tony Soprano at times)…not as fat… haha.
I’ll show you who is swimmin with the fishes… lol. I would go if you are a local and if you have one close try it out.

I know its a chain but it is one I truly enjoy. The location is awesome, they have tons of parking. The host had us seated with in 2 minutes (lucky there was no wait). If you are coming to Bonefish Grill chances are you will definitively order the bang bang shrimp, and Bangg lol it is great, the quality of food here was good to great, except for the mac n cheese… supposedly was truffle flavored… maybe I have been spoiled with French truffle oil, but the mac n cheese was quite blan. Beef dumplings were great, the sauce is the key to its distinct and unique taste… it will leave you craving more. I tend to like my fish with more seasoning but that being said The bang bang shrimp always hits the spot, enough to bring me back just for that lol
The drinks were suburb. Not only did they look nice, also tasted great, and got me to that stage I like to be in.
Only know I probably have on the restaurant is, I wish there was more of a variety on the Menu.
The service was great, Max was our server. He made excellent recommendations and stopped by enough to make sure we were taken care of yet wasn’t over bearing.
Definitely should try this location out sometime.

So talking from experience, I did work for for this company for 2 ½ years. The food and portions are reasonably priced and very tasty. They also have a specials menu that changes usually weekly. You’ll get more for your buck on the times and days below. Service is usually a hit or miss depending on how busy they are. Seafood is fresh, trust me I have seen it come in. They can only use the fish 2 days once its received, otherwise it’ll get thrown out, or do there best to sell at as a special before it goes bad. This place offers a variety of food for the seafood lovers, vegetarians and chicken/​meat lovers as well, so its a nice place for everyone to find something they’ll enjoy.
