Both the Thai reflexology treatments and massage I have had here have been good. You are given wonderful tea before or after your session and the oils used are good quality. It is a quiet, peaceful and friendly atmosphere. I am especially impressed with the reflexology as some places advertise that but it is merely a glorified foot rub. This place does actual reflexology and it’s not only relaxing it feels very therapeutic. There are some good but over-​priced spas in Sebastopol, and this place is reasonably priced with very good service.

Where do I start? What a wonderful experience I had at Jaiyen spa. I had just run a half marathon on Sunday and I called on Monday and got my preferred appointment time on Tuesday (that NEVER happens!!). I had Rachel as my therapist and she was amazing! She was attentive to my sore leg muscles and really focused there. I was in the room that was closest to the reception and that would be my only knock; that it was a little too loud that close. But Rachel turned on a fan and did what she could to help mute the noise. I walked out relaxed and it helped speed up my soreness. Please support this local spa because I want to see them succeed! I will be back.

My prenatal massage with Rachel was amazing. This was my first time at this spa. It was very relaxing, clean, and comfortable. I am 9 months pregnant and it was a great experience. Rachel made sure I was comfortable throughout the massage and was very knowledgeable on the common prenatal aches and pains. I felt so relaxed when I left and my joints and muscles felt much better. It was a lot easier to sleep that week! I will definitely be going back!

We had a group of 4 who booked last minute on a Monday morning for afternoon Swedish massages. All four of us were blissfully amazed by the massages give by Sun and Barry. I have had some neck issues, and Barry was mindful and gentle with his massage. The two of us massaged by Sun were happy and relaxed… the other one of us massaged by Barry just raved about him. What talented and calming individuals these are! The woman at reception was warm, friendly and welcoming. I’ve had a fair number of massages over the years, and this experience was outstanding… for all of us. We look forward to returning soon!

I was paired with Max for a Swedish massage and overall it was a nice experience. The spa is very cute and the woman at the front desk was very friendly. Max provided a very calming, relaxing experience and was very receptive to my requests. I am sensitive so I had to ask him to work with less force so if you’re looking for deep work he’d be great! He also did some stretching of my arms and neck which was a little too intense for me, but that’s just personal preference. When I ask for Swedish I expect a very gentle massage. But I left feeling much more relaxed so mission accomplished.

Who knew we would have the best massages of our lives in Sebastopol, CA? This was an anniversary gift for my fiancé and I. The couples massage is such a good deal and was literally the best massage I have ever had in my life. I wish I lived closer so we could go here more often, but it will be a once or twice a year kind of thing sadly. The cash discount was a pleasant surprise which made it an even better deal. I would highly recommend getting massages here.

Went here last Friday for a prenatal massage. My technician, Ja, did a very good job. She used the correct amount of pressure and it was a very relaxing experience. The spa seemed very clean as well.
They have a 5% discount for cash as well.

I saw all the positive Unilocal reviews and was looking forward to the couples massage that I booked for my husband and myself. His was a 90 minute swedish massage and mine was a 60 minute swedish with a 30 minute foot reflexology. This was possibly the worst massage I’ve ever had. The practitioner’s movements were quick, jerky and not at all relaxing. The reflexology was mediocre. The entire massage lasted 75 minutes at best. I will give it two stars because the facility was clean and professional.

I had a frozen shoulder and my husband gave me a certificate for a thai massage. Of course I didn’t catch the name of the man who performed the massage but he was asian and seemed in his 40′ or 50’s. After one massage my shoulder unfroze and I haven’t had a problem since and it has been 6 months! I am truly amazed!

We just couldn’t help ourselves. My girlfriend and I went back again but this time we added the reflexology foot massage. It hurt so good! We didn’t realize how much better our tired old feet would feel. I can’t wait to see Ja and Ann again. We will continue to drive an hour or more just because we love the women and the experience as well as the foot reflexology massage with our regular massages. Oh and I can’t forget their wonderful products. I purchase a bag full. I will need more every time because I can’t help but share them with family and friends that I have to double my purchase, yet again. The lotion and oil are the best!!!

Loved my massage! I woke up feeling exhausted from an intense week of work and I felt a little off due to something I ate the night before. Ann did an awesome job– great pressure, presence and able to detail areas that needed special attention. She covered a lot of ground in an hour– very thorough and therapeutic. Can’t wait to go back again soon!

I have had massages in many places around the world but the massages I get at Jaiyen Spa
are better.
The only other place that even comes close to this spa’s massages was in Mexico.
They truly know how to get those kinks out and relax the body!

This was my first time at Jaiyen Spa, and I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Ja. Even though her specialty is Thai massage, I requested a deep tissue massage, and I’d have to say it’s probably the best one I’ve ever had. Ja is amazingly talented, and very sweet as well. I highly recommend Jaiyen Spa!

If you want a great massage, this is the place to go in Sonoma County! I’m VERY picky about my massages and am so glad I found Ja. I’ve had massages all over the Bay Area and she is in the top 2. The other is in SF and much more expensive. Treat yourself!!!
