So far this is my favorite coffee joint around town. I love the atmosphere, the seating layout, the coffee drinks, and the location.

Brian P. is spot on about this place. This is a great location to catch up with a friend over coffee, and their food selection is decent as well. The owner is wonderful and staff is friendly. Very Sebastopol. Low key.

If you find yourself in the area with time to kill, this is a great little spot to relax, to go online or to curl up and read… It’s always nice and warm, and seating is very comfy. Employees are friendly and helpful. Occasionally there is live music. Also, props for offering vegan milk options. However– and I don’t mean this unkindly, but I feel it must be said– they really REALLY need to rethink their prices. Today I got a smoothie that consisted of mixed frozen fruit, apple juice, and orange juice, and this generic little creation cost $ 5.75. I kid you not; five dollars and seventy five cents! I mean, it tasted perfectly fine, but it wasn’t very large, and for that price, it should at least contain fresh fruit. Their cookies also cost $ 2 a piece, which is rather steep, and don’t even get me started on the other baked goods. This place is fine for the basics: coffee, teas, etc. but be mindful of the listed price when ordering specialty items.

We been here several times while on vacation. We’ve always had a really nice experience. Coffee is good. Food is really good. And they have always been super kind. Love it. Will be back.

I love their mochas. If you’re a weirdo like me, you don’t like your mochas to be too sweet. Never fear – mention that you don’t want it to be too sweet and they’ll make it just right. Also, their breakfast burritos are to die for!

We stopped here on our way to Santa Rosa for some coffee and breakfast. It is adorable– quaint and friendly, decorated adorably. The food was great(we got breakfast burritos) and the coffee was good. It was a nice, welcoming place to stop for a relaxed and casual breakfast. If we are back in the area, we will definitely visit here again.

Visiting from NJ and stayed at the Sebastopol Inn. We came to Coffee Catz simply because it was right next to the motel. When we walked in, we were very surprised at all the choices. There were glass displays of delicious homemade pastries, a coffee menu that went on for days, beautiful colors everywhere whether it was the walls, dishware or the artwork. The staff was welcoming and kind. The seating area is filled with an assortment of table and chair sets of all kinds to suit whether you have a party of breakfast platters or just by yourself with a cup of coffee. We came back three times this week and tried all sorts of drinks and meals and enjoyed every bit of it! It’s quiet and cute with great music faintly playing, or you might even be able to catch a hint of another patron playing their guitar in the corner of the room. It’s wonderful and feels like you’re having breakfast in someones home.

So many«hip» coffee houses have opened since I moved to Sebastopol eight years ago, but Coffee Catz remains the best original coffee house. No pretension, super friendly staff, Debbie the owner is so generous she even let us use the location in a film we were shooting because she supports local artists! I love sitting in the living room and hearing just anyone play the piano. Coffee Catz is a one of place!

Love love love Coffee Catz, on one of my most recent stays in Sebastopol I came across this little gem. They offer vegan options and I love that they offer dairy free substitutes such as almond, coconut and soy milk for their drinks. The coffee is delicious the breakfast sandwiches are fresh to order the eggs are steam cooked and everything is just so yummy. Thank you Coffee Catz I look forward to stopping by soon! Still dreaming of my Irish mocha.

Coffee is not bad. Decent eats but not the most welcoming place. That goes for staff and patrons. After a couple visits I moved on to another place. But they are always packed so that alone says something.

Fantastic! Great local feel, great food, even better espresso drinks. Always a place to sit. Indoor/Outdoor. I started coming here just over a year ago when I moved to the area. I work remote for a large tech company and needed a place to get out of the house and get my work done. Every staff member is friendly and extremely attentive. I do my work here about 4 – 5 days a week and get the zebra mocha, YUM! I highly recommend the chili as well. Not only do they make the chili fresh, but they have wonderful corn muffins to go with it!

Love the ambiance. A little on the pricey side but well worth the price in environment, friendly staff and location.

This is my favorite spot in Sebastopol to chill and get work done. I am a student and go to do tests, homework and study. They have ok beverages but good food and pastries. I mainly go for the comfy loungy vibe. They even sometimes hVe love music or poetry… It’s a great space!

Ew the coffee is not good– it’s watery and tastes… Blech! It’s also a very weird ambience. I feel like I’m transported back to 1986. But it’s not hipster cool ironic, it’s just sad. There’s a lot of seating, but it’s just not that comfortable. The tea selection is bad, it’s cheap tea. I have been here a few times and I can’t go back.

A pleasant discovery made today after returning from a day hike at Salmon Creek. I really enjoyed a decadent espresso milkshake, so much that I’d love another one sooner than later!

Good drinks, tons of place to study and hang out, some decent food offerings, opening and other music events. This is old school Sebastopol and truly and honestly part and parcel of the culture and spirit that makes Sebastopol what it is and a place that has attracted so many great people to move there. I study and hang out there when needed. Free wifi and cool people to meet.

$ 2.70 for a cup of coffee. Subpar WiFi, crowded church-basement type atmosphere and the staff are lukewarm at best.
