This place is absolutely wonderful. Stayed up in Sebastopol for a business trip, needed a great place to eat. The food is extraordinary, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The owner, Rhonda, and her son do a great job. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Amazing food! Lovely ice tea! Adored the fact that the cook/Chef came out and asked us what we thought of the food! Thank you!

Had the half rack of ribs and the beans. The ribs did not have the usual smoke ring like the typical bbq. It was served Memphis dry style. The flavor was good and the home style bbq sauce had a tang that was alcohol based. The beans were tasty and had a lot of flavor.

What a fun spot. Seating was in an authentic train car. The owner was friendly, chatty and enthusiastic. She was waiting to get her beer and liquor license so the beverage list was short. The food was above average and very tasty. However the price was way below average making the food thereby excellent. A meat choice with 2 sides was $ 7.95. I had the pulled park, fries and a fruit salad. All were excellent. We ate for 2, drank water and the bill was $ 17 and change. I will be back for sure.

A great little hidden gem with yummy meat candy! The service is warm and helpful and the food delicious. Exactly what to expect from a hidden bbq dive. I was pleasantly surprised and the family was happy. I will be back.

Brisket and sides done right and at a good price. Generally I’m not a coleslaw fan but it rocks here. I’ll be back to try breakfast. Tasty addition to west county!

My issue with this place, and the other businesses in this«building» is the smell of cat urine when you enter the«depot». The 3 times I have been to the businesses within this building it has always smelled — very unappetizing. I think cats must live under the train cars and use the area as a litterbox. That being said it is hard to judge a place when you start off with, literally a «bad taste» in your mouth(and nose). Food wise I was happy with the quality and size of our dishes. The green chili is zesty and favorable, the beans were excellent and leaned closer to chili with the level of meat and smokiness — which is a good thing in my book. The BBQ itself was good, not great, but better then the other 2 options in Sebastopol. Perhaps I would get takeout from here(if someone else picked it up) but walking in the door is a real issue. Perhaps it can be fixed which would be great because this place has potential. Very pleasant waitress who was completely swamped did a good job and ran practically the whole room. They need at least one more person for the lunch rush.

Great food, service & atmosphere! Seated & helped right away. Food came in a timely manner. My husband & I ordered the«Junction Lunch Platter Your choice of two meats from the smoker: tri-tip, beef brisket, pulled pork or pulled chicken served on a platter with choice of any three sides — enough to share». We chose the beef brisket & pulled pork, green beans, apple coleslaw, & sweet potato fries. Everything was good. Dessert is mostly homemade pies from a local. We had the mango pie, which was also very good. We would definitely go back!

Amazing food, amazing prices. As of this posting this is the second visit for my wife and I. Last time we got the brisket special and it was very tasty. This time we got the lunch platter and a side of chili. The chili is incredible! We had chicken and TriTip, both were great. Try the baked Mac and cheese, you won’t regret it! We will be back for sure, as many times as we can.

Was referred here by family members that have a taste for good food. Maybe we were there on an off day. We waited quite long while they got their banquet room served at lunch. Did they run out of food? I wish I took a picture of my plate that day. Mine didn’t look nearly as good as the ones on-line. Soggy/oily green beans. I thought they were canned but those in the pictures look fresh. I would guess less than 4 ounces of very tasty brisket. One grilled 1-ounce or so chunk of fat on top… I picked it apart looking for meat. baked macaroni– meh, dry and uneventful. I tasted my husband’s burger and it was good, as was my niece’s tri-tip and yam fries. She too was disappointed with the baked macaroni. The waitress bragged about large portions. We all felt they were average portions. Oh well, it was fun sitting in the train car trying it out. Being with family was good too!

Love this place! Firstly, it’s the BESTBBQ around! You also eat in an old train car. My boyfriend and I share the Junction platter, which is a little of everything. Also, I can’t resist good fried zucchini, and their fried zucchini is just so light and delicious!

Great food and very nice people. Been there for breakfast and dinner a few times and the owner always has time to chat. I have had a few things on the menu and have never been disappointed. The two items that I always get are the baked beans and the sweet potato fries. Very fair prices. My wife had a pice of cake one time after dinner(needed a take out box) The slice of cake was big and it was only $ 2.50. When you go there watch for the young man in the cowboy hat. He is the cook and half owner with his mom.

This is one of the best BBQ places I’ve had. The wait staff were so generous and kind. I left here with a full belly and a good feeling knowing I gave my business to these nice people. You won’t regret coming here to try their BBQ.(The BBQ baked beans were to die for too!)

Next time in town, I’ll definitely come by to see how they have improved. When we showed up for lunch, they were overwhelmed by the Valentine’s day(Pliny the Younger?) weekend. People were waiting over an hour for food(including us) and they were pleasant and apologetic the whole time. We ordered a lunch combo and our food came out hot and ready. Highlights include the tri-tip, sweet potato fries and slaw. The pulled pork was okay, though some of the pieces were a bit fatty. The baked mac and cheese was dry, crumbly and totally not what one would expect for mac and cheese. I ate it, but my wife wouldn’t touch it. We were able to get our bill and get out of there quick. Best deal I’ve ever gotten on lunch(not sure if it was reduced).

Stopped by for lunch and had the brisket with two sides, green beans and baked beans. I really loved the sides the green beans had a wonderful bacon flavor and the baked beans were thick and sweet and well cooked. As others have said the service is really friendly and quick. With an iced tea and my platter the bill came to $ 11. I have tried every other barbecue place around here and none of them have been this good. I look forward to this place enjoying a long and happy life here!

Is the word AMAZING an understatement? Most certainly. I arrived at around 10 minutes before 8 in the morning, and the proprietress opened the door, and invited me in to sit down with a cup of(still brewing) coffee. It only got better from there. She gave me a warm welcome, and spent the next 40 minutes treating me like family. She introduced me to her son, the co-proprieter and chef, and her kitchen crew. Being Super Bowl weekend, they even took some advice on what to offer as a special for the day — or at least pretty close. I learned she was from Colorado, so I suggested that she try having an omelette named after a particular city. Prices? I can actually afford to eat there. Nothing like the typical«street fare» that is priced like the gold-laden streets of the 1%, but fairly priced, and the portions left me full. THIS is a business I can support. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Wow — this place is absolutely amazing. Our expectations for good BBQ are quite high considering the places we have lived and visited. This place exceeded every expectation. The BBQ sauce & jelly were great. Ribs perfection. Not a single side was sub par, including bread(had just the right amount of crunch) Another nice touch was that we had the pleasure to be served by the owner Rhonda. She was very nice. Jake, the master cook even came out to greet us and ask how the food was tasting. Talk about caring for their customers! Also the instant feedback loop to apply suggestions etc. I love seeing business leaders who care about their customers, and who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do the work — inclusive of hearing direct feedback regarding the business. Well done.

This place has been on my radar. And I wanted to try it before any of my Unilocal friends beat me to it. Nice little family run spot! The owner was super duper nice! She said ever since someone ran this Unilocal ad thing they’ve been SLAMMED with customers! She was very apologetic, and said they were out of darn near everything! She told us they had to make double what they’d normally make, and the had still run out. She said they had a little bit of pulled pork left, and that was about it. My wife and I said that’s super good that the business is doing so well, and my wife said she’d have the pulled pork plate w/green beans, n Mac n cheese. I opted for a Chile Verde burrito. And the owner lady said they could make it real good with some pulled pork inside. I said that’d be great! I got me a bottle of Coke, and the Missy got a tap water. The food came and it was FANTASTIC. Great price too! Everything was only $ 28! Towards the end I asked the lady if there was apples in the bbq sauce, and she got this BIG grin, and said you can taste that? She proceeded to tell me yeah, there’s some apple cider, and some vinegar in there, and that they are working on a spicy version. The whole time I was trying to pin point it because it was very unique. But very much like something I’d had before. But not in a bbq sauce. On the drive home, I remembered exactly what the flavor is!!! But I am not going to say what it is!!! I know EXACTLY what their secret sauce ingredient is!!! But owner lady, your secret is safe with me!!!
