I bought two small terrariums for my office one afternoon after first snagging lunch at TanakaSan. Zinnia is nestled between TanakaSan and Home Remedy, and I do mean nestled. The wares – usually small terrariums and potted plants – are displayed in a nook between the doors leading between Home Remedy and the sidewalk. You can go ahead and purchase your chosen plants at Home Remedy, and the shop assistant will be glad to tell you about the care and feeding of your new plant friends. Of course, the actual size of the display area is a bit small, which leads to a limited selection of terrariums. There’s not a lot of variety outside of the terrariums. I’m not even sure if there are bouquets of flowers to be had, although I think they have some on the inside. It can be occasionally hard to figure out how to purchase your wares.(A little sign might not go amiss?) I felt kinda weird just picking up the terrariums I wanted and taking them to Home Remedy to ask if they knew where I could pay. Still, the terrariums were cute, and if I don’t kill them, I can see myself coming back for more. :)

This is my NFF! New Favorite Florist. I dropped by this afternoon seeking plant advice and the lovely Miz Jessica took time to teach me a thing or two about succulents. Don’t over water; don’t sing badly to them. I was so enamored by her customer service + expertise, when she offered to whip a little something up for me, I named my price and let her get creative. One hour later, I have a super chic + rustic mini air-plant situation that I can use as a centerpiece for my petite dinner table! She swears it is bullet proof-even to me-the opposite of a Green Thumb.(A pink thumb?) Stop by and spoil yourself. I’m planning on making pit stops here for all my gifting + floral needs!
