I needed a new mech and a friend recommended WRENCH and I’m so happy he did. Buck has an incredibly extensive knowledge concerning bikes and was genuinely happy to answer any questions I had. I needed new wheels for a 26 yr old Bianchi, told him what I wanted out of them and he gave me a specific list of things to look for. I found exactly what I needed and had them shipped directly to his shop. Tune-up and instal took less than a day and it’s never ran better. As long as WRENCH is around it’s the only place I’ll ever take my bike.

Super knowledgable owner. Recommends legitimately good equipment at no markup. Good labor costs. Owner is a nice dude. Not open on weekends.

Great shop! I got a bike from a friend that hadn’t been ridden in years. It was in really rough shape so I brought it into Wrench. The prices were totally reasonable and the customer service is amazing. For $ 150 total I got a new seat, new cables, a new tire, tubes, and a tune-up. It rides great, I highly recommend taking your service there.

Don’t bother going anywhere else. This place is top notch and the service is second to none. Buck is an awesome mech and this will be my go to shop.

Glad to have met Buck, the owner and mechanic at Wrench. He gave a quick and accurate estimate of some repair work, then had it done on time and communicated perfectly via email. One wishes every retail encounter was so pleasant and satisfying. Wrench is on Dexter, fronted by a bike lane, so when you say goodbye to Buck, you and bike are on your way.

I’ve been taking my bikes here for a year and a half and have always had excellent service at a fair price. The work is always done in a timely manner. I took my bikes to another shop to remain unnamed, paid $ 155 to have them tuned up and immediately had issues with my commuter bike. Fortunately I found Wrench. It was uncertain what was done to my bike as it needed cables, new brake pads and a new chain. Buck tuned and repaired my bike and it was perfect for the rest if the season. Recently I had to use another repair shop as Wrench was closed for a week and I needed a new bike tuned. Although they did a good job I know I paid alot more than I have paid Buck in the past. Next time I will take the bus until I can get to the Wrench!

I’ve been taking my bike to Wrench since I first got it and he has been fantastic. Fair prices and friendly service. I’ve worked mainly with Buck, and have had nothing but a great experience. I always know my bike is going to come back better than when I brought it in and am a loyal Wrench customer.

The guys at Wrench are super helpful. I went in with a few questions about my MTB rear suspension. They took the time to help explain the finer details. I was so happy with the experience that I purchased some maintenance items from them that I was planning to get later.

Buck has worked on my bike a couple times. He is a great guy who does excellent work at a fair price. I appreciate that he even gives me free DIY advice. I would not think twice about taking my bike anywhere else.

Had my bike in to replace front and rear dérailleur cable and housing. Perfect. Buck told me the internal cable routing stop fitting was put on wrong and the threads were stripped. He did a great job to get it to work. He asked if I wanted to replace it. I said yes. The next day he emails me saying he called everywhere and even the vendor does not make nor stock this part anymore. I thought I got to live with it. It is what it is. A week or more later. Buck sends me another email saying he was talking to friends who owned another local performance bicycle shop and mentioned the issue with my bike and learned they had the part I needed… Woah… Gonna go pick up my bike now, put together like it should be. Enough said!!! Bad Ass!

Amazing service! Just brought my husbands bike here, we were in and out in no time with a completely fixed and tuned-up bike! Will definitely be bringing my bike by here, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Phenomenal place. I’ve had two bikes worked on at Wrench and have been thoroughly impressed each time. Buck is super friendly, explains the work he will do(in layman’s terms) and tries to save you money where he can. If he’s going to bill you for something unexpected, he does a great job of explaining the ‘why’ and for what reason it is needed. Keep doing what you’re doing — you’ve gained a customer for life!

Buck is the best. He knows wheels, he knows suspension, he knows disk brakes, he knows hydraulics, he knows road and mountain bikes and he’ll figure shit out. If you need service and want a relationship with your mechanic instead of handing your prized bike off to some ignorant teenager, Wrench is the place. Did I mention it’s easy to get to on a bicycle and is on a major bike commute route?

Both times I’ve gone to Wrench, I’ve been blown away by their awesome service. The first time I came in, I asked for a tune up and rebuild, not really knowing what I needed. I took it in and they flat out told me that my bike didn’t really need a rebuild and that just a tune up(much less expensive than the tune up + rebuild) would be good enough. I feel like they’re really looking out for me when I go to wrench. Obviously paying online is super convenient.

Had an issue with the my left crank on my commuter bike. Buck did a quick scan and explained how it most likely happened. He initially said he could do a quick patch and order the part I needed. Than he said wait I might actually have an used one in stock, if your ok with that. He had it repaired in less then 5 minutes and cost me less than ½ of what I expected. I actually left a tip I was so impressed. Highly recommended.

Brought my bike in for a stuck pedal. What took me 30+ minutes of frustration, took him less than a minute. Good job, they have all the right tools. Thanks.

A few weeks ago I walked in to get a small screw replaced, they did so for free! They recommended that I also fix the cables as my bike is ancient. I waited weeks on that decision. My bike was in bad shape when I came in the next time. Its brakes and gears were completely messed up too, I was barely able to stop in the rain(so unsafe! I’m a terrible bike owner). I asked for them to fix the cables, the gears and the brakes. They did a great job on that and even more I didn’t ask for.. I feel so much better and safer. The guys were super helpful with all my questions too. They are truly interesting in making peoples biking experience better.

A good reputation brought me to call Buck about a pro build I needed done in a jiffy. He was very quick to schedule me in and made everything clear and easy for me. Buck went above and beyond to get my bike built for me by the time I needed it, even though it meant him coming in after hours. He handled my expensive gear like a pro mechanic and set up everything to my specifications, the first time. I love the fact that this shop is built on service, not inflated retail prices. I will be coming here for all my maintenance needs in the future. I would recommend my friends and family to this shop, not something I usually say.

Nothing super special, but they get the job done. Took in my TT bike for a tune up and got it done fairly quickly. Friendly staff and great location!

I was biking past Wrench when I realized my front shifter had stopped working and I would have a hard slog getting home with it like that, so I stopped in. Buck figured it out right away(my front dérailleur had broken). Though he didn’t have the replacement piece on hand, he set it on the middle gear and tightened it up so I could get home, and he didn’t charge me for the labor even though I offered to pay. I’ll definitely be back in. Great service in a really convenient location along Dexter.
