As a catered event venue, this place gets 3.5 stars. We recently had our office holiday party here. We rented the entire upstairs area, and everyone had a good time. HUGE space. There were a few pool tables and a ping pong table. We had a buffet table full of appetizers, as well as a pasta station. Most of the appetizers were lackluster at best — egg rolls were dry and a weird combination of flavors, green salad was as basic as they come, and I don’t remember anything about the other stuff. Oh, yeah, the wings were okay — they were what you would expect at another sports bar. The pasta station exceeded my expectations. We were given choices of meats, sauces, and veggies, and a server cooked our plates up. I had a pasta with chicken, shrimp, basil, and pesto, and I thought it was pretty good. Better than the ones made by your everyday pizza delivery chain that has pesto pasta on the menu, and the server didn’t skimp on the protein. Drinks were flowing all night, and they were stiff and proper. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive throughout. It was fun! Outside of being an event venue, it gets 2 stars. I came to hang out and watch the World Cup with some friends. It was semi-busy, but not completely packed. Service was slow, and food was unmemorable, mediocre bar food. Drinks were okay! I got a Bloody Mary, which was average. All in all, great for a catered party, but I don’t ever think about it as a primary option if I just want to go to a sports bar and shoot the sh*t or watch some sports. If they offered free parking, I might change my feelings a tad bit, but I’m not going to spend money or time trying to park in South Lake Union just to come here.

This review isn’t for the dine in but for the arcade/ping pong section of the place. We had fun! The establishment was fairly big and had an upstairs, which at the time was rented out by a private party. One side was the restaurant/bar with a few pool tables and the other side had more pool tables and arcade games. There were dart boards and ping pong tables that you can rent out for a reasonably cheap price. Free air hockey too! My sister was visiting and I haven’t seen her for a while and it was a great time to catch up with some beers and have some fun competition playing games. It was surprisingly packed too. Parking was a bit hard to find but if I’m in the area again I would definitely come back with my friends!

I’m guessing most reviewers have been here and had similar experiences to mine, hence why WSP holds a 2 star Unilocal average. I was at the bar along with three other customers. Pretty sure if a cricket was in this place, you would have heard it. Dull game night apparently! So when there are two servers at the bar area and three customers, you’d think service might be a little speedy. Never assume, they say. Patience is a virtue, they say. The drinks weren’t good, the appetizers are overpriced, and the atmosphere was just… BLAH. But maybe if I wanted to play pool, I’d stop here?

This place is like a poorly run Applebee’s! They claim they can accommodate 8 – 800, but just because a building can technically hold that many people, does not mean the restaurant can successfully accommodate them. We learned this lesson while watching the football game last Sunday. Things we couldn’t get: A waiter. Food. Silverware(silverware finally came, one piece at a time). Napkin(s). Water. A hamburger done medium-well(not raw inside). Breakfast(which says in multiple places on the menu is served until 1pm, but at 11am they told us ‘no’). Warm french fries. I know it was busy, but there have got to be some improvements made if they are going to claim to be able to host such large groups! It wasn’t even one or two things that were annoying– it was everything!

This is not a dive bar, but it’s certainly ran like one. I love a good dive bar! What I don’t love is a beautifully built upscale sports bar with quality food served luke warm, shit service, and poor management. Such a shame, because this place has serious potential.

The only thing that this place has going for it, is the size. It can accommodate a lot of people which is great for games. While the food was nothing better than mediocre, the most disappointing part was the service. I have worked in the customer service/hospitality industry for many years. I know what it is like to be very busy, but to seem put out because I would like to order a drink is unacceptable. And unfortunately for her, I planned to order many drinks. Besides her seeming completely put out, she was cold, did not once smile in the hours we were there, and it was impossible to get her attention. All in all, I would not come back. It seems like a nice location, but why would I come back to a place where all I am is an inconvenience?

This used to be Jillian’s, but the layout is pretty much the same. We were in for the happy hour, 4−6pm, where all appetizers were $ 5. We had the corn dog bites(8 pieces) and sliders(2 pieces with fries). Pretty basic food, nothing spectacular. This place is good for large groups of people to hang out as this place is pretty spacious. It wasn’t busy when we came in on a Thursday night. Overall experience was good.

I’m keeping the numbers the same — with the caveat that it seems like there’s always *something* not quite right when I visit. In my most recent visit, it was a lack of service — we were a total afterthought to our server. Had to ask for menus, flag him down to get drinks, and our plates sat empty and uncleared for a good 20 minutes. A place that has such a good location and setup really needs to do better.

This bar is large and thus appropriately accommodates loads of people. If you’re going to watch a game you can expect many lively fans to be there cheering alongside you. The food was alright –it served its purpose, though I have to say cherry vinaigrette is just not appealing on a mixed green salad. The drinks were fine — when the bartender mixed up the WA apple shot with some other shot he made us another to make it right. No harm, no foul. While this wasn’t the best bar I’ve ever been to, it was good for watching the game and I’ll probably come back here again in the future.

Nice location and attractive space for a sports bar. However, service is unmotivated and slow. Super slow. Food is worse than fast food, much worse. Cold chili and super starchy French Fries that taste like something you wipe off your shoes.

My wife and I were visiting some friends in Seattle and he took us here for his birthday. We went during the Seahawks game so it was quite busy. We had a table near the entrance to the kitchen. There was a TV there listed for major league soccer. We asked if they would change it to the Chargers-Rams game(the only game they did not have on any of their tv’s) multiple times but they would not. I would suggest being more flexible with your TV policy. We were the only table that could really see that TV. Since it was busy service took a while which is to be expected. After some time our food came. Everyone received their order. I was brought the wrong food item(ham and cheese instead of hamburger) so they sent mine back. My correct order did come out shortly after. Burger was so-so, I did enjoy the fries. My wife ordered the hot wings and threw up around 2 hours later. The restaurant also has an arcade and games to play. I would suggest this place if you are a huge Seahawks fan and want to watch the game and root on the team. My wife and I have no interest in ever coming back.

Our group visited WSG twice in the span of three weeks out of proximity and late night necessity. The first visit was during the last week of August, when we stopped in after a late night staff meeting. Our group was hungry so our side of the table ordered liberally from the late night HH menu. We chose: green bean fries, mini corn dogs, sliders, and an order of their«Beast Mode» nachos. The green bean fries were good and I enjoyed the lemon aioli. The corn dogs were crisp and a little greasy but still edible. My husband ordered the sliders with slaw on the side. I took a bite into the second slider and found room temperature BBQ pork. I’m aware that restaurants use microwaves so c’mon now, use them correctly. The«Beast Mode» nachos were described as «two layers of tortilla chips each piled with cheddar cheese, jalepenos(sic), fresh pico de gallo, olives, guacamole, sour cream, and seasoned beef. It’s made for sharing, but we won’t tell if you eat it all yourself.» They held the cheese and sour cream(per my request), but the nachos seemed slapped together and baked too long under the broiler. Our second visit was two weeks later in mid-September and ordered: green bean fries, mini corn dogs, cheese quesadilla, grilled ham and Beecher’s cheese with fries, a seasonal watermelon salad with feta, and brisket chili. The green bean fries and corn dogs were not good the second time around. The beans weren’t as crisp as the first time and the dogs were greasy, like they had been felt refried. The most disappointing items was the brisket chili. The chili was bland and watery, like they added water to it to make it stretch. My husband actually sent it back, something he never does. I think our collective mistake was to come here twice after our first visit was just average. It was after the second visit that our group decided that we didn’t need to return here for inconsistent service on slow nights and food items that were hit and miss. As an a bonus on our second visit, my husband and I ended up with dodgy stomachs which were an uncomfortable end to an otherwise good day. If they are your only food option, seek sustenance elsewhere. They were a definite disappointment and you can get better bar food somewhere else for the same price point. Edit: Since posting this review, the restaurant’s GM has contacted me to discuss what went wrong and also reminding me that they have not served the Watermelon salad in weeks. I have since amended the review to reflect the date ranges of our visits.

Big sports bar sort of like a Dave and Busters. Other Unilocalers complained of service but in a busy Sat, it’s been very attentive and responsive. Asked to find a Warrior/Laker game and when they couldn’t get it initially, they kept going until they got it. Lots of places give up quick. Good beer selection. Did not have food although menu looks appetizing.

Ok. This is getting hilarious. Now I’m sitting ATTHEBAR. And it’s been 20 minutes. Might as well be invisible. I won’t post until we get a final wait time for this week. 30 minutes. Again, I’m sitting ATTHEBAR. 35 minutes. Not so much as a ‘hi’. Man these guys are bad. Did I mention I’m sitting inches from the server ATTHEBAR? She just asked the guy next to me but skipped me. I’m 6’4″ wearing a bright blue shirt. Wow. 45 minutes. 50 minutes. We’ve hit a new low. One full hour. Not one greeting, not even a look from the wait staff. Epically bad service. 1HOUR15MINUTES. NOSERVICE. This is getting almost fun now. 1 hour 25 minutes. Final tally: ONEHOUR35MINUTES. No service. Buh-bye.

This place has decent pool tables, lots of fun games, pin pong tables, air hockey tables & even a snooker table up stairs. SNOOKER!!!(Unfortunately the upstairs was closed when we got there so next time I’ll call ahead to see when they open the upstairs so I can actually play on the Snooker Table). This place looks like a fun hang out with a few buddies but in all honestly come for the fun but make sure you eat before. The food is pretty crappy bar food. They seem to have a decent selection of beers though. So I guess that’s fine. The place seems to get very busy during a sports game since they have lots of big screen TVs in the other room. But I really appreciate how they have the game section & the sports bar section separate. In other words, while there’s a game going on, I’m sure I can still come over & play a good game of pool. Seriously the only complaint is their food. It’s honestly really terrible. Tasteless wings & fries! How can you mess up fries? It’s just fried potatoes! Lol

Okay. This place is ridiculous. Came in for the hawks game. The roof was leaking, the service god awful, and false advertising. Took litetally 20 min to get my beer. I saw it sit on the bar just asking for me to drink it. It got warmer and warmer. On the menu, as a special it says $ 4 for a brew, actumally it’s $ 4.34. I know 34 cents is nothing but what place puts $ 4 on the menu and then charges 34 cents? Just close down already.

Food: 5⁄10 Service: 7⁄10 Arcade: 9⁄10 Pool tables and others fun stuff: 9⁄10 It gets the 3 stars based on the arcade and others, and polite and professional service. Still needs improving in a few major areas. I do appreciate that management reached out to me about my prior review, I hope they give this one a close look. I like eating here so I’d love to see it reach it’s full potential. Just happened come in the day that a brand new menu is being offered. They have gone away from the cheapy lunch to a little more expensive but higher quality menu. The food. Well… It disappointed me a bit. I ordered the«mercer mess» for $ 11. Great concept on paper, but not executed well. I was looking forward to this one after reading the menu… The pattie was too thick and shrunken down, it did not fill the entire bun. Secondly, the cheese was put on top of the tomato, which was on top of the chili. The cheese barely melted as a result. The chili with brisket was ok, it wasn’t as messy as you would think. I didn’t really get much of the brisket pieces in the burger, which was what I was looking forward to. The fries were pretty good, but might not have been fresh. Service: there was only one server for several tables, two being large parties. Water test, well it was refilled but after it had been empty for ages, after I had eaten and at the same time I was brought the bill. Food came a good 20 mins after ordering. It was explained to me that the large table ordered first. I get the first come first serve, but shouldn’t big parties expect to have a longer wait? Here I am, just one person who’s gotta wait for 14 other peoples food to be made first. The server I think did the best she could, and was very professional and did her job. But I saw some hosts and others that could of helped out with waters or food running? Water water water. This place is charging more for lunch now, they need to step up the water service, step up food preparation, and step up the food itself.

I am a huge football fan, but I’m not a Seahawks fan, which is probably a mortal sin out here in Seattle. As a result, I’m constantly looking for places that have NFL ticket, so I decided to try out this place with a friend last November. The pros: They have TONS of TVs with lots of different games showing. Granted, the big screens are going to be reserved for the Seahawks games, but that is to be expected and I won’t complain about that. They also have tons of seating, but I’m pretty sure I know why that is now… The cons: So many… It took forever for someone to come over to get our order. The food was not good at all. I couldn’t finish it and I ended up going some place else to get more food later. I’m not a picky lady. Plus, how hard is it to get bar food wrong? The service was absolutely terrible. At one point, our waiter completely disappeared and we had to have another waiter go get him. What he was doing and where he went? No idea because he clearly wasn’t serving the tables around us. If you’re absolutely desperate and cannot find another place to watch a non-Seahawks game, then I guess come here? That’s really all I can say. There’s a reason the average Unilocal rating is 2 stars on here after 90 reviews. I’m not sure what they can do to make it better, but even if they did, I can’t imagine daring to come back to try it out again. Go over to Cask and Trotter if you’re in the area. That would have been a much better decision!

The service is abhorrent! After seeing all the bad reviews about the service we decided to sit at the bar, since most of the time you will get way better service at the bar. This place is the outlier. Sitting at the bar renders poor service as well. One member of our party was standing at the bar, AFTER having placed a drink order, for a solid seven minutes. The food was GREAT! Had the sliders and the street tacos, both were amazing. The tacos had a good amount of spice to them as well. I wasn’t expecting it but it was a very nice surprise! TL:DR good food, horrible service.
