I would give ZEROSTARS if possible. I was told to go next door when I politely asked«could the screen I’m watching please be changed to the Ducks game that is being watched on every other screen?» All Ducks fans are here. I’ve spent over $ 250 here in bar tab and I can’t believe the service because of my alumni. It’s disgraceful that the door men feel the need to throw around their weight. Our waitress was MORE than accommodating but that is not much to say about the bouncer! Don’t come over to my table if you don’t have an answer.

My boyfriend and I have been in the bar for every political debate this year(only because they are the only bar in the area that has it on with the sound). The food was the worst food I have ever eaten. The first time we were there the chef came to our table 45 minutes after we had already put our food in and told us that they didn’t have the ingredients to make the sandwich I ordered. The only server for the whole floor tried her hardest to wait on all of the tables. She was running around like a crazy person. She apologized for the kitchen not having the stuff to make the sandwich I ordered and took it off of our check. She is the only reason I gave this place two stars. Their food made me sick.

They certainly are consistent. The food has been terrible here for 6 years. They’ve changed chefs more times than I care to count and each time the food is either the same or somehow worse. Oh and make sure you wear bug spray when you come. There are so many fruit flies in there I was swatting all 4 quarters. Update after many many years attending football games here – the food is the worst. Such a shame too because location and sports watching setup is 5-star quality but the food is –10.

For a busy bar during football games, I was pretty impressed at the service. I arrived early and saved a table for ten. As people showed up they were ordering food so nothing was done at once but the staff were easy going and just checked on us regularly. We also were able to surround ourselves with the Seahawks game but also ask for one tv to show the Vikings vs Packers which they happily helped us with. Sometimes I sweat a little at the DirectTV Ticket establishments bc I feel like that annoying high maintenance patron but they didn’t give me an eye roll, attitude, or nothin’! Just an «okey dokey? Which channel?» pleasant attitude. My husband had a Pork Cuban as soon as he got there and he enjoyed it. I took a couple bites and decided to get one a few hours later and I regretted it. It was extremely sodium laden and it was so salty that it pretty much killed my appetite for anything the rest of the day. I just drank like 3 gallons of water for the rest of the football game. I noticed later that my friend had also ordered the sandwich and decided to take 80% of it home, so maybe she wasn’t feeling it either. So i guess I would not highly recommend that sandwich but I would definitely recommend coming to this bar to hang and watch a football game.

Oh my gosh… This place was ! I had a chicken sandwich with bacon and guacamole, so good. I asked for soft fries and they were perfect. Their ranch dressing was on point as well. I can’t remember our servers name but he was awesome and he was also a pretty good bartender. When I come back to Seattle I will for sure eat here again.

Good food, drinks a little on high side Was here 5 hours early for ufc fight at 7pm to watch football for the day Spent over 100 and they still make you pay cover for the ufc fight!!! What a joke. First bar I have ever been to that charges cover for people already inside when they set up the front door table to charge. I could have come at 7 paid the cover and not spent the 100 and they would have lost that revenue. FIGUREITOUT

Came here with friends to watch Sunday morning football and eat brunch. We arrived just before noon and we were told brunch ended at 11am. Seriously? I’m sorry Spitfire, but that’s NOT brunch. All four of us weren’t impressed with our food or our service. And, the ladies bathroom had zero paper towels or soap. tl/dr; Don’t advertise weekend brunch til 2pm if you’re not going to actually have it.

Placed an order for two items on Prime Now. Midway through the order they cancelled one of the items. They refunded the money out provided no option for another item. Now there is not enough food for everyone. Not the way a business should be run. I should have taken their poor Unilocal rating into consideration — the poor reviews are there for a reason.

Spitfire is a sports bar. If you go here and are not planning to watch a game then I don’t recommend it. But if you are going to watch a game then it’s not bad. There are tons of screens so you might be able to follow whatever obscure sports you like, even soccer ;) The food is categorically average. It will nourish you without leaving any memory of it. The few times I have been here, they seem to be always understaffed. One or two servers deal with 6+ tables of screaming fans. Our server tried her best to get our drinks and food to us on time and was very polite but looked totally overwhelmed.

I can’t comment on the food or drink because I never got any. I was given water and a menu, then no one ever came back. The place only had 8 people in it and the bartender who was suppose to help us never even said hello. I feel silly for waiting as long as I did before walking out.(16 minutes) Even as I left the bartender didn’t even acknowledge us. What a waste of a great location. This place gives Belltown and sport bars a bad name.

We had just moved into our new apartment and needed some loving comfort food. Since my Belltown Passport included a coupon for Spitfire, we decided to give it a try. Our waitress was an excellent server as well as an excellent saleswoman. Her delicious description of their tomato bisque sold us and it did not disappoint. That was some damn good tomato bisque… perfect thickness with an extra kick of spice. Their wings appetizer had a good crunch and sauce. My only critique would be to increase the quantity of wings. It’s a sports bar! Load it up!

They offer UFC and that’s great! They told me upfront that there were no more seats so I would probably be standing. I think that was pretty cool of their part. It wasn’t a deal breaker for me so I went inside anyway. They asked $ 12 for UFC cover. I think it was like $ 5 before. I think bartending needs some improvement. The house was kind of busy, but even considering that fact, it still took a while for me to get my drink. Drinks were kind of pricey. $ 9 a mojito. I don’t know, I’d go there again, but not so frequently. Oh yeah, the speakers were so ridiculously loud. I’m a guitar player and play metal stuff, if you know what I mean. It was still loud for me. My ears are buzzing right now. Not happy about that.

A lot of beers to choose from and a lot of TVs if you want to watch sports but the food is disappointing. The garlic for the garlic fries need to have the harsh garlic cooked off. The BBQ pork sandwich is great but you have to eat it will a knife and fork because it is so liquidity it eats through the bread and falls apart. Have fun but don’t eat at Spitfire

We were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat and came across this plce thanks to Unilocal. Not to many people when we arrived *we had lunch so it was 12ish* the one bartender was very attentive. We ordered our food. I had the grilled cheese/soup combo. It wasn’t bad. The soup was vegetarian which was good for me since I’m a veg head. My partner had the wings which he said he enjoyed. Next time I’m in town I will most definately pop back in for a visit.

I came here with my family awhile back when visiting Seattle. We were here over thanksgiving & there just so happened to be a SEAHAWKS game on(Go Hawks). The concierge at the Westin suggested this place. Great suggestions. Tons of tvs & awesome bar food. I had sliders & beer. The Cuban sandwich & some crazy drink with… BACON!!! All I can say is that all the food looked amazing & it tasted like it looked. Can’t go wrong with that. I will be back.

Overrated! They need some better bigger tvs and maybe 1 or 2 that are lower. Disappointed

The best word to describe Spitfire? Solid. It’s a great sports bar, with plenty of TV’s, great drinks, and an ever-changing tap list that matches the season and tastes of the patrons. It has a great menu with small plates and entrees that all have considerable portions without breaking the bank; the food itself is also way above par in comparison with other sports bars in the area. Keep an eye on the specials board, as that tends to have some pretty unique items, but you can’t go wrong with the mac and cheese(especially with caramelized onions and red pepper flakes), the reuben, or the pulled pork sliders. The staff and service is always attentive at the bar, and there’re plenty of seating areas for large groups as well. Definitely a solid go-to place for any game day.

Pros: Good food, a nice variety of beers, and reasonable prices. Cons: So-so atmosphere and decent service. Came here for dinner and drinks with friends. The look of the place was just okay. Nothing special and seemed a lovely dirty. The food was fantastic, as was the service. They have a solid variety of beers. There was nothing wrong with the experience, but it just wasn’t special. I would potentially come back; however, I would opt to spend more time exploring other restaurants in the area before I would return. We ordered: Garlic fries, spicy wings, and the mini burgers. See photos :)

Dan S. invited me to a tech meetup that gets held here. There was karaōke in the back room and that’s where I headed to join the party. The front of the bar was pretty dead though. I thought I was in the wrong place until I walked back there. They have a bar in the back and plenty of room for a large gathering. I ordered the Grilled Rustic Caesar Salad with chicken and buffalo wings. I was told that the lettuce was«grilled» and went along with it. It didn’t disappoint! They grilled a head of romaine lettuce… The buffalo wings were pretty good and I was charged the happy hour price even though it was well past happy hour. The bartender seemed to know everyone and was friendly. I had two scoops of ice cream for desert. A OK in my book.
