THEWORST! THEWORST! THEWORST! The pharmacy is way understaffed and it shows. The prescription refill request never get sent to my doctor, I always have to call and verify with my doc after 3 or 4 days have passed. At the busiest times of the day they will have one person staffed running around manning the filling, both registers, the drop off and the drive through. Walgreens you can afford to have more people staffed, right?

I came to love Walgreens when I lived in Hot Springs, Arkansas. But I’ve been in Seattle fore some years now, and it’s like a different store. I rarely find what I need at this location, and the customer ranges from lousy to nonexistent. Recently there was a line of customers waiting to pay and only one cashier. I went all through the store trying to find a clerk on the floor to help me find what I needed. The cashier called for help several times o the mike. I asked to see a manager. She called for a manager. Another man and I waited almost 15 minutes(I checked my watch) before any help came. The woman swore no one had called anyone over the store mike, even though the man and I both verified it had been done several times. The clerk said she was aware that the store was understaffed and hoped they’d hire more peop0le in the near future. I’ve been back twice since, and it was the same. I’m done. Bartell’s from now on.

Came in for a Canadian passport photo after AAA was unable to do them. Walgreens have a cool app in the store to ensure the size and placement meets the Canadian specs. The fellow took my photo and the pics were ready in about 2 minutes. Travel, here I come!

Worst costumer service I’ve ever experienced. I strongly suggest ANY other pharmacy besides this location. Slow and inexplicably rude.

Every time I come to this location I regret it. Between most of the staff being generally slow or unhelpful and the location is not the best. The pharmacy will call you(automated) to pick up a prescription but when you arrive they are out of stock. This has happens 3 times. The staff is generally unapologetic for the store conditions. If you have another choice I’d take it.

Brew your own medication. It will be way faster than picking up anything at this slow as molasses place.

Stopped in the other night to pick up a prescription. There was a long line but as the gal explained to another customer we were there during«peak» hours(5pm-8pm). The employee was friendly and was able to process my perscription quickly. There was a car in the drive through but she was very diligent at making sure everyone was first come first served and even warned us that although we were«next» she needed to process the drive thru first because they had come before us. I would choose this location again to refill my perscription. The area wasn’t the greatest as the gas station nearby had many loiterers but other then that I found nothing wrong with this particular location.

Came in on a busy night for them. The photo cashier let me pay for my 2 items there vs. waiting at the main cashier line, so that was nice of her. The store was clean and organized. I’m not much of a fan of Walgreens in general due to the en masse of cheap plastic items that don’t last that they offer for holidays. The parking lot has signs posted that you’re allowed to only be there for 30 minutes at a time, which isn’t customer friendly. The lot also needs a good cleaning.

This location of Walgreens is sort of near home and so it’s a run to if you ‘have to’. I was recently battling an epic cold and thought I would leave before work and grab some meds before heading in. As I drove up to it, the bars and windows were all locked up tight and looked as if they expected to be robbed or vandalized regularly. This was an instant red flag as who wants to stop in a place that looks like that when its dark? But to add salt to injury, it wasn’t open as they apparently aren’t 24 hours. I came back later during ‘open hours’ and I guess they launched a «Walgreens» card which you have to have to get their ‘sale prices’(wish they had noted this somewhere on the sale tags). Not my fave chain of stores to begin with and this location seemed extra sad.

I always go to this place and find what I need, the staff is always nice wish I remembered their names but I know their are all ladies… And the asian guy. Anyways if something is out on the shelf they have no problem checking the back(it might take a second though) They have lines sometimes 5 long when I’m usually in a hurry but thats me, if they have enough people working they usually open a back up.

Good for the rando household stuff, kinda sketchy at night. The best thing about this Walgreens is the location and the Red Box outside. This Walgreen has a good location and access from one of the major streets in West Seattle, 35th Ave SW. The parking lot is of decent size and has ample space. If you go there at night grab some pepper spray while you’re inside. You may need it.

Even given that the store hours are decent(open until 10pm), there is ample free parking, and a Red Box rental out front — none of that compensates for what they do NOT have: the sale items they advertise in their weekly ads. I drove there this evening, a day after the new ad came out, wanting to pick up exactly 3 things promoted: a hair buzzer, a Calvin Klein cologne kit, and a small bottle of Eternity for Men. There were four employees working, all of whom dressed as if they were going to bed, t-shirt, baggy pants, you get the picture. After attempting to explain which items I was looking for, and seeing the blank stares of incomprehension, I finally had to grab and ad myself from the front of the store, find the items in the ad to show them exactly what they had on sale. Again, blank stares as if this was the first time they’ve seen their own ad.(I doubt they glanced through the ad beforehand which should be mandatory for employees in customer service businesses) The result: all 3 items could not be found in the store, no sale sign, no item facing, no product. After 20 minutes, they succeeded in finding just one item, the hair trimmer/buzzer that wasn’t in the cosmetics department with the rest of the buzzers, it was the sole buzzer stocked in the camera department(and was the lowest priced $ 10). I doubt it was to prevent theft, as the others in cosmetics were far pricier. Don’t bother looking for sale items at Walgreens — dare I say you’re actually better off at Rite-Aid.

I have been a huge fan of Walgreens for years, for everything from quick in and out trips for headache or allergies, to idle entertainment. But since moving to West Seattle, Walgreens has become synonymous for pain in the a$$. The 35th and Morgan location is dark and dirty, and frequently I have to push my way past panhandlers to get through the door. I’ve recently been very ill with the flu, and after multiple sleepless nights, consulted a physician and received a prescription. The prescription was called in at 10:30 am. I went home for a nap, and when I finally felt well enough to get dressed and face the world again at 2pm, I got up and headed to Waldeath. Not only was my prescription not filled, it took her 5 minutes to find it. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes, so I wandered around the store, trying not to spread my flu to innocent bystanders. After 15 minutes, I was told it was not ready, and to come back in 20 minutes. At this point, I really needed to be laying down, so I went home and napped again. When I awoke at 5pm, I chose to call instead of do another round of store contamination. When I called I was told it would be at least minutes. I will NEVER use Waldeath as my pharmacy again. Further, I’ll encourage all my friends to move there business to Bartells. They’re clean, they’re friendly but more importantly, I’ve never been forced to wait for hours with a flu wandering aimlessly about their store. I certainly hope no one gets sick as a result of Waldeath’s incompetence. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I wanted to give them 0 stars, but that wasn’t an option, so I had to give them 1 to post the review.

Sure, you can find a fine selection of Russel Stover chocolates, crossword puzzle books and hand-held massagers here, just like any other drug store, but the true reason behind my(totally breathtaking) three-star review is the convenient call-ahead, automated, drive-through pharmacy. Call the number on your prescription, enter your prescription number, punch in when you wanna pick it up, then drive through(just like a bank!) and pick up yo drugs! Being an only slightly healthy human being in need of pharmaceuticals is finally a little more convenient.
