I came in and met Tom, who was absolutely fantastic. I’ve had a few things professionally framed before but decided to try it myself this time. Turns out it’s super easy (Tom does most of the heavy lifting, even when you’re doing it yourself). It took longer for me to decide on what frame and mat I wanted then to actually frame it. The price was very competitive with other framing places I’ve been to. I will definitely be back here next time I need something framed.

All of the rooms in our house look better because Tom helped us frame art. I got to keep a quirky screenprint because Tom’s advice about a matte and frame made it acceptable to my wife. You can choose to have Tom do all the labor or save some money by putting your frame together yourself. Tom provides a great safety net for do-​it-​yourselfers and saves a lot of time and effort with his advice on colors and materials.

I really like this place. Tom is very helpful! Here’s how it works:
Basically, Tom will help you pick out the right frame and mat, he’ll take all the measurements, cut the glass, mat, and frame; and you assemble it (with some of his help). It’s a lot of fun and I always come away with a beautifully framed piece!
(Note– the store moved in 2014 from its old location on California Ave SW to this new space, in a shopping center that’s a block away from the Alaska Junction.)

What a great experience! Tom is a professional, friendly capable framer and helped me immensely. The price was better than what I could get with a coupon elsewhere! I am SO happy with my project and will definitely return with future framing needs. Conveniently located in Jefferson Square, plenty of free parking, great hours. Thank you so much Tom!
