The food was really good(I got the veg tofu soup) but the service was a little slow and disorganised. But I think I went at a peak time! Also super handy location, right next to the link station.

I order seafood tofu soup, everything inside taste like frozen food except shrimp. But the shrimp is the smallest shrimp I have never seen in my entire life, can’t even taste any meat lol. The soup taste is so-so. The side dishes is ok but some of them taste weird, especially kimchi. Not sure where is the owner from but definitely not korea. Overall, comparing the price and quality I give 2star, not recommend to come here, especially Korean. Ps: If you are American or Chinese, you may think this restaurant is ok for you. «Btw my rating is only for the food»

We got the seafood tofu soup(mild), the oysters and mushroom tofu soup(mild), fried croaker, bulgogi and galbi. The galbi was the best thing there! It was so delicious — the marinade and the tenderness. YUM! The tofu soups were also good — it is hard to go wrong with tofu soup! The fried croakers were also very nicely fried but tender at the same time. I am definitely glad we ordered that. The bulgogi was terrible. It was like a beef stir fry… The staff were nice and I would come back and skip the bulgogi.

Not a good experience. Waited for a while to get a waiter to greet us — even with open tables. The service continued to be irksome when we waited for a while to get our order in. The food is good, not great. Across the street is a much better Korean restaurant serving delicious ban chan and a variety of classic dishes. This place lacking all around.

Tofully serves very good soondubu jjigae(spicy tofu soup) with a number of varieties. I chose the sausage and ham soondubu which I had actually never had before. It was delicious and super affordable. The service was excellent as well and the woman working, whom I assume was the owner, was friendly, hospitible, and even replenished my banchan(side dishes) without me asking. Which is great because they were delicious too! I would definitely recommend and plan to return when I’m next travelling through Seattle.

Went for lunch. I had the seafood tofu soup and my hubby did a chicken dish. I loved that it comes with 4 side dishes to start and you can share with your group. Our main dishes were so yummy and my soup stayed warm the whole time. I will be going back. Service was good too.

I walked right passed it and didn’t realize it changed owners! They gotten rid of the big bulky booths and replaced it with tables(which feels much more spacious than before). The menu is still the same as before. The tofu soup is $ 10 unless with a combo(better deal if sharing) to get a main dish that’ll come with a small tofu soup for $ 3 – 4 dollars more. I ordered the hot stone bulgogi bi bim bop combo with an original medium tofu beef option. I believe it’s a different chef. My soup turned out really salty and my soup came first… Then 25 or so minutes later my entrée finally came out after my friend got halfway done eating with his kalbi dish and tofu soup. Rather disappointing in that case. Overall it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the same as before. Debating if I want to com back.

From Ballard to international district… What a change in scene. We weren’t sure if we were in the right place… International district was kinda ghetto at night, as we saw many bums and shady people loitering in front of a liquor store and even a crime scene… Not sure what happened but there were cop cars and ambulances… For a while so we know it wasn’t good… Anyway, Tofully was tucked away and under the international archway. The place was small and plain, no pictures on the wall, no nothing… 2 lady working, one in front one in back… I ordered my usual beef kimchi tofu soup. It was good and had great flavors. The beef was cubed instead of that thin bulgogi meat. I liked it but they needed to add more meat! Sides were great. I love the little fried fish they give it. It was so good and perfectly fried. I’m craving that fish now!

Way to start the new year Unilocalin’! My co-worker and I hopped the bus to the International District of lunch for something hot and spicy and to help with the tail ends of our respective colds. This place is situated just off the corder of Jackson and King and is a cozy dining room of 8 tables. We each ordered the tofu hotspots, got the one with beef and my co-worker ordered the one with a combination of seafood. We both asked for medium heat but I think mine came a little bit spicier from the sweat on my brow. We enjoyed some delicious banchan of potatoes, kimchi, some other picked veggie, and pickled sprouts as well as a little fried fish… all with a hot and yummy cup of barley tea. I love love loved my soup. Our server was so nice. Everything was great including the $ 8.95 price tag. All worth it, and with the nice service, even much more so. Can’t wait to come back to try some bibimbap or the bulgogi entrees. Winner!

The climate of Seattle had put me under the weather, and I needed a hot pick me up before I leave. Craving something hot and spicy I turned to an all too familiar dish at Tofully. Soon dubu«tofu» is the dish in mind that already had me salivating when I walked in. Interior: Small and cramped but luckily I came in before peak hours so there was plenty to sit at. Service: Great, friendly service that made me comfortable to holler at her for whatever I needed. I told her it was my first time here in Seattle while conversing over hot tea. Food: The soon dubu was seasoned wonderfully while the tofu inside was soooo soft. My usual tofu soft test is conducted by attempting to grab it with chopsticks and if i fail, the tofu passes. What surprised me the most was that the soon dubu was not the highlight of my visit but the banchan and the lightly fried dishes. I spent more of my lunch eating this braised potato dish soaked in a galbi sauce. The kimchi radish was sweet and crunchy while refreshing. The yellow croacker and kimchi pancake reigned as my most favorite dishes here. This lady’s frying technique is on point! Keeping the food so crispy and flaky while almost void of oil. Overall: Great spot and one of the only places I’d eat in the industrial district in Seattle.

Really cute little place in ID with genuinely great korean food. Hella hot served dishes, which I always love in real authentic asian restaurants. The spicy is actually VERY spicy — another sign of authenticity. My only deduction is that that service was very slow. Now, give it was New Years, and the place was pretty busy, this little shop desperately needs more help. At times it felt that the whole restaurant only had like 3 people working in it, making food, taking orders, and serving 8 tables! I did see a help wanted sign. So hope is in the near future and in the meantime, the service is very courteous and diligent, despite the wait time. For sure, I will be back again.

I’ll give them 5 stars because of the good service and great amount of food they serve in the combo with a fair price. I ordered No.21 combo: tofu soup with seafood and beef, beef rib. Some reviews mentioned they are stingy on giving meat, but I got plenty of beef and seafood in my bowl! A fried fish come with the combo too. Plus, Don’t hesitate to ask them add the eggs on soup if they didn’t add it. To be honest, the soup and rib taste nice, but it’s not like super amazing, so 4 stars for the taste. But Im giving them 5 when they gave more food than other Korean restaurants in NYC and charged less. The hostess treat us nice, we are pretty comfortable to eat there!

We stopped by Tofully for lunch when walking around the international district. The restaurant is small with a few tables and booths. Service was nice and it seems like it’s a family-run business. The food was good, but I thought the menu was a little bit limited. Korea has so much amazing food to offer and I couldn’t find a few of my favorites. I went with the classic dolsot bibimbap(hot stone), which is the BEST way to bibimbap. The flavors were good, veggies were crunchy, and it was nice that tofu was an option in all of the dishes. My date got the japchae and it wasn’t either of our favorites. The portion sizes were large, which was great because we were starving. The sides were good. Kimchi, pickled zucchini, a whole fish(if you’re interested in that). Would stop by again when I’m in Seattle and in the mood for Korean.

I am currently a new resident of Washington coming from Los Angeles. And, I have to say that this place’s food is definitely different from the Korean food that I’m used to from LA’s Ktown. I tried the bibimbap, kimchi pancake and kimchi soondobu. I didn’t have much of the problem with the bibim or the kimchi pancake.(The pancake was pretty huge, tasty and $ 10.) It was the soondobu that was a disappointment. It was waaaay watery and didn’t have that kick that I am so use to. I’m giving this place a 2⁄5 only because I think the food was a Unilocal standard of «meh». I’d give this place a second chance if I had to though. I had no problems with the restaurant itself or the customer service. The restaurant, though in a hole in the wall, was quaint and our waitress was really courteous. She even apologized because there wasn’t enough space on our table for the food that was ordered.

Tofully is a cute, cozy Korean food hole-in-the-wall in the middle of the ID. I am obsessed with their kimchi jun(pancake). It comes in its own skillet and is nice and crisp on the the outside. There’s something about kimchi grilling on a skillet that reminds me of fried cheddar in all the best ways(a very spicy, comforting cheddar at that)! That, some rice, and some banchan(the free side dishes of bean sprouts, kimchi, kimchi cucumber) ended up being too much food – not that I’m complaining. Yay for leftovers! What makes this place 5 stars? The service is fantastic. The fellow who works here is sweet and hospitable. If you like no-fuss, down-home Korean cooking, visit Tofully!

We were in town for a conference and were craving some authentic and good Korean food, so stopped by this place based on a local’s recommendation. We had a large group and the restaurant has limited seating; 6 or 8 booths and a few 2-seater tables down the center of the restaurant if I remember correctly. We waited for space and the only waiter was able to accommodate all of us; we basically took over the entire restaurant. Food was fantastic! I got the gyoza plate because I was feeling a little full from all the snacking in the area. They were flavorful, fried to a beautiful golden brown, and well shaped. I love good dumplings! Two of my friends got the Hot Stone Bi Bim Bap with beef and ate everything in their bowls. Both of the entrees came with classic side dishes and fried yellow croaker. The fried fish was a great addition and the kimchi cucumbers were my favorite of the side dishes. My other friend got the Seafood Pancake and was overwhelmed with the portion size; luckily that meant she was sharing with everyone. It was cooked well and the price was fair. The waiter was the hero of the visit. He was the only one serving our large group and it was chaotic with people arriving every few minutes, but he was very friendly and engaging despite how stressed he must have been. He joked with us between water refills and apologized when the fried yellow croakers took longer than the rest of the sides. He always had a smile on his face and made the meal so much more enjoyable. Good food and even better service.

A friend and I popped in for lunch as Chinese New Year festivities were happening full-on in the ID. We thought we were lucky we got the last empty table when we walked in – the one right by the door — but it turned out we would be policing this door for the entire duration of our stay. The door needed an extra pull(or push, if you’re exiting) for it to be completely shut, and we needed it to be completely shut so we wouldn’t freeze. People were in and out every minute, and they weren’t aware of this door issue, so we were having to pull the door shut every minute, too. I was HANGRY and totally did not appreciate that. We ordered two kimchi and beef soondubus and a spicy pork bulgogi. Our food arrived after close to a half an hour — even the banchan. Banchan selection was much smaller than I’m used to. We got 4, plus a deep-fried fish for each of us, which I liked, although it was too tiny. Bean sprout banchan was slightly undercooked. Soondubus came relatively cold, as in they weren’t sizzling when they got to our table. They didn’t put a raw egg in prior to serving either. Flavor was average compared to many others I’ve had. And, yeah, where did all the beef go? Put more beef in that thang, boss! On the contrary, we got an enormous serving of spicy pork bulgogi. It was good, but not as flavorful as the ones at Palace(my favorite). So will I return? Meh. There are much better alternatives, including Seoul Tofu House, which is only steps away.
