The Framery

I was timid to try custom framing for the first time because I had heard how pricy it is. Well, I feel lied to because when I went to The Framery, they were so reasonably priced that I felt silly for not going to them sooner.
I had a beautiful piece of art that was very special to me and I wanted to make sure that everything was done perfectly. Once I met Francisco, I instantly knew that it would turn out beautifully. He helped me through every step of the process to make sure that everything would turn out exactly how I pictured it. Not only was it reasonably priced, the turn around time was so quick! I loved that he texted me when it was done so I could pick it up right away.
Amazing shop, Francisco was so knowledgable and the work was flawless. I couldn’t have been happier with the end result.

My first custom framing experience, and although it was more expensive than I’d thought it would be, I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I purchased a colorful vintage poster for a 1970s East German nightclub called Disco. Its condition is near-​mint and I wanted something special, so I took it in to The Framery and chose a nice bright orange frame to pick up on the orange in the poster and to complement my office’s pale pink walls. I don’t know anything about framing, but in my opinion the quality of the work is very high and the framing looks just as great as the poster! Would definitely bring another special item here.

I wanted a signed Steph Curry jersey framed. I knew how I wanted it done, very simple & clean. I checked out another place, their price was almost twice the cost of this place & the style of framing a jersey was a bit too busy for me. The Framery places some type of foam to stretch your jersey so that it will lay totally flat with no wrinkles! They have many colors to choose from for the matting! They were really fast, only took about a week & it was just a few weeks before Christmas! It’s a privately owned business that’s been in business for many, many years. The owner was wonderful & explained the process to me, step by step. If you have a certificate of authenticity, he’ll attach an envelope on the backside to keep the certificate safe & with the jersey. Also recommends that you make a photo copy of the certificate just in case you lose the original. I was VERY happy & would highly recommend this to anyone!!!

Wonderful quality of work with very intricate frames. Two paintings took about two weeks to finish. Everything was lined up perfectly and joints were tight. Very happy with the result! I took one star off because the guy running the store was a bit awkward and hard to get advice from in terms of what would look good around my paintings.

Absolutely amazing, I took a few prints I had in, and Francisco helped me pick from an abundance of options. My pieces look fabulous, and I’ll definitely be going back. The appointment system is great, because I didn’t feel rushed at all, and every time I’ve been in, street parking has been surprisingly easy to find. I usually don’t like going to Belltown, but this is a worthy cause.

This place is a gem in the heart of Belltown. The owner is a very friendly person and gives you lots of idea for framing. The turnaround time is extremely quick too. I have got 2 small projects done by him and so very pleased to have them done here.
I’ve received a lot of compliments for the products I got custom-​made from here. I’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends and network.

This place gets five stars on all accounts from me! The owner is attentive, careful with the artwork and knows how to work with the customers.
I have taken two big jobs to him and he has always done perfect work.
Even all my friends use his services, so far its the best framer around!
