We stopped in here after the Bourbon and BaconFest on Saturday. I’ve taken a few days to think about it because I don’t like giving bad reviews. Walking in, the place is dated, but clean. The room is big, with pool tables to the left as you enter. A nice sofa area is just beyond that, by the bar. Looked cozy enough. Unfortunately, there was only one bartender/waitress in the establishment that afternoon. We walked up to the bar and waited a few minutes to even get acknowledged. The place was beginning to get crowded from the people that were at the fest and it took a bit of time to get an order of drinks in. After we ordered, we were told we would have to come back and pick them up because she was just too busy to take them to our table outside. After 5 minutes we went in, nothing. Another 5 minutes, nothing. Decided to hang inside and wait for the drinks, hoping that would put a little pressure on her to get our drinks out. Must have worked because we got them pretty quick after that. I ordered an Old Fashioned. Sadly, after the long wait, it wasn’t even close to an Old Fashioned. It’s hard to describe because it wasn’t watery, bland, or even weak. It was pink. Light pink! I’m guessing it may have been the wrong drink entirely, but after the long wait and the amount of people who were now in the bar, there was no way I was going to order another. I took a couple of sips and was done. The others in my group had a Blueberry vodka lemonade and a beer, which were fine. All in all, pretty disappointing. I will go back and give it another try. Unless a place is utterly horrifying, from the get-go, I like to give places 2nd chances! I will give this place the benefit of the doubt because of the Festival crowd that I’m pretty sure they weren’t expecting. Stay tuned! ;)

Came in here for dinner after the first dinner place Fell through(Marco across street). When I got here I found live music, good beer selection, especially friendly bartender and a great atmosphere. Maybe it’s just Thursday nights? Or maybe they just invite the right crowd? Whatever it is I’m very happy with the bands(jazz, then acoustic) who were very talented. Wings were great too!

I should have written an update about 3 months ago but never got around to it. My wife and I have been back several times and the service has been great over the last 6 months. We were there last weekend and the bartender was just wonderful. We are not picky and don’t ask for much but we do go out every Friday and Saturday and having someone that at least pretends that they care about us, makes us want to return. It’s not on our regular rotation but if they had some sort of entertainment on weekends, we’d be there regularly. The place is generally overrun with guys… but what do you expect when you’re located next to a strip club where you can’t get alcohol? My wife and the female portion of another couple were the only women there besides the bartender but the strippers from next door made regular appearances throughout the evening(good eye candy). We had a good time, played some pool, listened to some great classic rock on Pandora(or something like it) and did some good people watching. Not five stars yet… the place is way too bright and as I mentioned, no entertainment on weekends. People on Unilocal have raved about the food, but I’d say it’s only average to slightly above average… but we’d eat there regularly if there was a band or DJ playing on weekends.

The best place to come if you’re looking for a chill environment for football on Sundays. They only had 2 girls working the entire place and I never felt like I had to flag them down to get service. They’re very attentive and super nice. The portions are ridiculous so you’re definitely getting your moneys worth. The place is definitely kept up and it’s definitely not divey which is hard to find considering it’s connected to a strip club. They also know how to pour a beer without a lot of foam, not a skill all bartenders have. Specials and even HH on the weekends. I’ll definitely be coming back here.

This place has been fantastic every time I’ve been! Service is great, attentive and fun. There are several different types of seating, including couches, tables, bar seating, outdoor seating, etc. The drinks are perfect and this place is in a very convenient location for me with plenty of parking available. Not to mention, it’s next to one of my favorite strip clubs! We come here for happy hour often and we’ll continue to do so! A must visit!

New in town. Read reviews. Seemed like an excellent bar. 11:30 am. Food was good. 1 star. Bartendress was tall, blonde, pretty & long legs. Another star. Service was exceptionally slow. 10 minutes before I received a refill on my beer. 4 customers total. Too slow. Came back at 5:30 pm. 8 customers. 7 minutes for my 1st beer. Waited 10 minutes for a refill. Same bartendress said she needs to cash out… never asked me if I wanted another beer. Unprofessional. Obviously not an experienced bartendress. Other places to get a drink with exceptional service. Going elsewhere later tonight.

I was driving thru Georgetown and I noticed the The Dog House. It is on the old site of Kettel’s lounge. I walked in and noticed how clean and bright it was. The TVs were flatscreen. I ordered fish friday. It was a good choice. The fish was good, the atmosphere is youthful and vibrant. They do play 80’s pop music. Not a big deal.

I’m not gonna lie, I was skeptical about coming into this place because of how new it was. But, after walking in and seeing the big TV ’ S they have, nice pool tables, and great food it made me a regular. Not to mention the Sriracha buffalo wings! I was here when it was busy and let me tell you, it’s nice to see an open kitchen dish out all your food and serve it almost immediately. This is one of those hidden gems in seattle.

Meh. Been here twice now, and issues persist. Understaffed, so service is spotty and harried, although friendly. But the place is clean. Like martinis? Great! They have a good selection of vodkas and gins and… whoopsie! No vermouth! Who does that? Total bar fail. Beer selection is fair, with more cheap and lame handles than not. Only one weak cider offering(Angry Orchard) and they’re heavily invested in Elysian sell-outs and Georgetown, which is good but over-saturated in this part of town. Best tap: Two Beers Pilsner. Patrons, when they’re in evidence, can be boisterous, which is ok, except the wood floors, hard walls and windows, and unfinished ceiling reflects and resonates the noise. Music is, well, not my fave. It ranges from goofy American Idol pop horror, to butt rock, to new«country». There are lots of easily viewable TVs, mostly showing the same channel. The food is hit and miss. They do a good, messy burger cooked med rare and seasoned well. Their fries are excellent and REALLY generously applied, and the chili-cheese versions of those and the tots are delicious. The nachos are HORRIBLE. Weird oily, waxy cheese and stale chips paired with scant goodies make for a forgettable nibble. The tacos are an excellent deal, but could be tastier and better constructed(finer-cut onions, tomato, and lettuce, and a bit of lime, especially on the chicken, would help). Sometimes less is more. The kitchen is wasting money by over-portioning fries and tots(and by association any toppings). Overall, an unfocused and mixed offering. But the burger is decent, and it might be a fun place to see a game.

Heavy pours, decent pub grub and great service make this a worthy SoDo hangout! Thursday’s are always a blast with live blues music to jam to, which always goes well with drink in hand! If that isn’t enough to quench your thirst the mysterious Kittens Cabaret is next door to meet those other needs!

This is a sad little place, that has potential. First off, I thought the food was good(veggie burger, omelet) and they had Lucille on draft which is a quick way to my heart. But it has a vibe like it is just the«alcohol serving partner» to the strip club next door. Since that place is called«Kittens Cabaret» and it appears to share an address, I would be shocked to find I was wrong. Unfortunately, I went there because I thought the name was in homage to the old Belltown 24hr restaurant/bar of the same name(All roads lead to the Dog House). It was most definitely not. Instead of locals eating Nachos, omelets and beer, it had a few strippers who had recently gotten off work next door, and perhaps some of their customers as well. Nothing wrong with that, but not the vibe I was hoping for. That said, it has some large screen TVs and it might be better if a local game of interest is showing.

Wake Up Seattle! They are doing a fantastic job here starting off with a great breakfast menu thats right breakfast Monday — Friday open at 6:30AM and weekends at 10:00AM wish it was earlier… plenty of seating and the menu is full of tasty foods that are really affordable. I keep trying something new every time and have had no disappointment. Great food a really clean and classy place.

I’ve come here a few times now, always with a small group. The food has been consistently good. Most dishes come with hash browns which are never greasy and usually very flavorful, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside– best of both worlds! Most recently I got the South Park skillet. The eggs were PERFECTLY cooked. Wished the bacon had been a little crispier at first, but as I ate the dish, the cook had really nailed the texture of the meat. The service is always very attentive, polite and kind without being over bearing. You’ll never have to ask for anything twice, the severs have always been wonderful women. For those into sports, there’s a ton of TVs, one large one seems to be visible literally no matter where you are in the bar.

Wow the T-bone is fantastic. Caesar salad perfect. Amazing for a great Sunday brunch menu. This place rocks!!! Staff again, very friendly. And the prices are reasonable. I have been here about 4 times now and this place has it all! Did I mention the best French Dip sandwich!
